I guess I should've brought in a purse to consign because I brought shoes that are pristine and they offered me $100 while they're selling shoes for $800 with the bottom of the shoes extremely worn. I sold them this purse for $475 and they are selling it for $500 more than what they paid me. They are selling it for $975. I've lost all respect for this business and won't ever buy or sell my bags or jewelry to them ever again. It's really disappointing. I get they have to make money trust me I'm in sales, but wow don't rip people off. I was going to trade my Chloé in that I bought from you guys to get the an LV empriente leather artsy maroon color and I'm glad I didn't. I would've just sold it on eBay and got more than $475 for it. This isn't what I expect from a small business. Mind you I paid $800 originally for this bag. Hi everyone. Pros and cons.... The pros- it's pretty in there and they give u cookies and used to make coffee drinks. The ladies are generally very nice and forthright. Something happened when the owners changed though.... I was sold a fake Gucci Marmont Bag in February. (At that sale I bought three bags) I also brought my genuine LV Neverfill Bag in for an appraisal.... The values offered to me were less than they were before and less than on ReBag and other companies. (I was being offered between $900-1100)... towards the end of the business day, the girls were trying to put together the deal and somehow my LV got traded into the deal with the fake handbag.... I didn't need the money for the other bags but I left with the trade offer at $645, which I knew was nuts.... I called a little later on and said I wanted my bag back and was told it was too late. I also said what I was offered was like Highway robbery and must have been a mistake. I also suspected the Gucci bag to be a sophisticated knock off... I was told about the guarantee and spoke to a few lovely people in the company who said they would run entropy on the bags to make me feel better about the authenticity. I was also told that they knew about a vendor who did sell them a few fake Gucci Marmonts. All of this and I said I really felt I should be reimbursed back for the genuine LV I gave into as a trade and which was undervalued by a lot. Although these are two different transactions they were lumped into one... I was offered the money back for the fake Marmont after Entropy confirmed that it was fake... plus I was offered $200 for the time and effort... I tried to be nice and give them an opportunity to replace the genuine bag that I lost in the deal that was potentially fraudulent: I wanted to just write it off as human error and give them the opportunity to correct the mistake... suddenly I was met with a bit of attitude and I did not feel good about that. I was offered 20 percent off of a future purchase... But that meant I would be putting more money into the company and they already owed me From The Neverfill swap debacle: so I asked some other professional's and we said we would handle it through the media... mistakes happen and human error is inevitable/:: how you treat a customer and handle such faux pas is what makes a business stay in business in good standing for forever... I was trying to reach the new owner to tell her this but have not been able to reach her so far. I still think this is a pretty fun business to walk though but I'd be cautious when buying anything in the second hand market without and Entropy backing up its authenticity. It's not the girls' fault. But how it was handled, leaves a little to be desired. read more

I am now officially obsessed with The Purse Ladies. My friend told me about the shop while we were at lunch and we decided to go right over. First of all the store is beautiful and classy. They have a great selection of high fashion purses, shoes, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Immediately when I walked in, I saw several things that I fell in love with. The quality of the resale items is stellar. Clearly, they do not accept anything, that is not in the best condition. I went home with a beautiful fringed Versace that still had the Versace information tag inside. I also scored a brand new and I mean literally brand new vintage Gucci Tian bag. There was not a single scratch anywhere on the hardware and the inside was mint condition Plus they they had a Valentine special as well so I got $175 off my purchases which was amazing! My friend got a beautiful Tim Ford bag-also brand new looking and a Gucci wallet that still had the tags in it. I am planning on becoming a regular and have been checking their Instagram and website daily to see new treasures coming in. The store was busy but they always made me feel like a priority. I had to be a frustrating customer because I looked and looked and couldn't decide, and then ultimately didn't buy because I couldn't decide, but they were still so nice. I will definitely go back! They even went above and beyond and checked next door to see if they would put feet on a bad I liked. My only complaint would be that they did not have a restroom for their customers. I was previously impressed with the purse ladies as I've bought a few items and sold a few items over the years, however, as of today, I will be boycotting this store and sharing my experience with others in the community. I came in to sell a cranberry PM Goyard tote with dust bag and receipt showing it was authentic, it had 1 small scuff but overall, pretty good condition. They advised they wouldn't be able to buy it and or sell it due to the small scuff on the handle. Never have I ever heard the most ridiculous feedback and I've noticed it's gotten progressively worse as I've visited the shop. The store is empty and some of the staff can be a bit rude in their delivery. I'll start taking my items to the Real Real as I've done in the past where I get solid value and seem to be more appreciated for selling them. I got home snd bag is currently IN stores for $950 retail and they sold to me for $900. Another bags purchased was totally off on retail too. I love this store. My first ever visit here was to sell a Gucci wallet I had, and they offered me a very fair price for it. I was very happy with the extremely inviting environment of the store and all of the staff! They offered me and my friends free coffee and cookies which was really sweet and special. She was incredibly helpful, knew her products well, and brought things out for me to consider that hadn't quite made it on to the floor yet, as they had just arrived. She assessed very quickly what would appeal to me and I appreciated that. I left with Chanel, Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, Tory Birch, Ferragamo, and Jimmy Choo. The women at the front were very friendly and it was very inviting environment. The only problem was the lowball rate that they gave me for my purse. I understand that this is a business where people are trying to make money but lowballing me is ridiculous. The woman straight up told me that they would resell for 625, but they offered me 325. That's ridiculous to me I understand making a little bit of a profit, But lowballing me $300 is a little ridiculous. My bag was in phenomenal condition and was only carried once, it's $1000 bag.
