This store requires you to ring the bell by the door before they let you enter. Just saying. Parking is not the easiest to find. It's a high end, classy consignment shop that is perfect for the Bocaite or wealthy female tourist looking for something else expensive to wear -- lots of clothes, shoes, and jewelry plus purses, etc. -- but not as expensive as something that would be full retail. Prices here are not cheap nor inexpensive, but quite a lot of the items are of high quality or recognizable label to begin with. Encore has high end designer bags, clothing, shoes and accessories. They have an enormous selection too. Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Versace, Christian Louboutin ... And many many others. You'll be sure to find whatever you're looking for here. Although some reviews stated the service was unpleasant, I found the contrary to be true. The young sales clerk was super friendly and very accommodating with us, showing us several pieces, checking prices for us, and just chitchatting. The selection in this store was top notch, and the items were in great condition and very organized. There was everything from vintage pieces to new and from every designer you could think of. There was also large sale sections that were where you could really get a great deal! I love the pieces I got and I thought the store was very beautiful, HOWEVER I didn't think the customer service was very good at all. I went in with a friend and we are both in college and look young. We were in beach coverups and flip flops (as we had just come from the beach), and it seemed that because we weren't the age of their usual clientele or decked out in designer from head to toe, they hardly paid any attention to us. I carried around multiple pairs of shoes before I was asked if I needed the other one from the back and then nobody checked on me after I had tried them on to see if they fit or anything. Even dillards has better customer service than that! When I said I was going to buy the 5 pairs I had tried on, the ladies looked shocked. I think the store is a hidden gem but I would advise their workers to be slower at judging a book by its cover because their lack of customer service almost lost them my purchase. read more

This is where the best of the best clothes in Boca Raton are consigned and things are priced accordingly. Pretty much everything is high quality and selection is huge in the small store, you can spend hours going through everything. While I did not purchase anything here I would definitely go back to browse because there is for sure nice things. Staff did not hover and was not pushy, if you asked for help they helped you. I've been consigning my designer items to Encore since they opened years ago. I no longer live in FL and still ship my items to them as they are literally the only store I trust to sell my stuff and I live outside of Chicago which is full of similar boutiques and I STILL send them to Chantal at Encore. I've always had a great experience from the selling side and make way more money through them with WAY less headache than dealing with something like Ebay. I'm shocked by some of the negative reviews. Being upset about the 50% cut they take? This is honestly the lowest I've seen at any truly high end consignment store. Its more typical that stores take 60% and above... Complaints about not being notified the minute an item sells? No store does that. I'm not even sure how they could. And paying all consigners at the same time each month is typical of these types of stores. I can also understand why a salesperson would be nervous about someone bringing in small children to a store like this. Kids touch stuff, can act wild, etc (yes, even the "best" kids out there lol) and at the end of the day if one of them ruins a $1000 handbag, are you prepared to pay for the damage? I'm guessing the answer is no. Long story short- small kids in a store with expensive things within arms reach will likely make staff nervous and understandably so. Anyway, I hope others can see through some of these negative reviews and give Encore a try. It really is a great store if you are in the market to buy or sell very high end designer items. read more

Seriously horrible store. Total scam. I saw a pair of Gucci heels (and may I add that they were incredibly ugly) for $950. That's ridiculous! Gucci heels normally retail for about $600-$800, never mind Gucci heels that are from 2008! The customer service was beyond rude. I tried on a $4,000 jacket for fun. One of the saleswomen (with way too much Botox) approached me and asked me if I was going to be purchasing the jacket. I joked with her and said "No haha I'm just a broke high school but it's really comfortable and so haute couture." She gave me a fake smile and was all like "Hmmmm I'll take that for you." I sold some high end shoes at this boutique and it was not a good experience. They did not notify me once my item was sold and it had been sold 5 days already. When I asked why I had not been notified the response was "we have over 3,000 sellers". Okay, first of all, how ever many sellers you have is not my problem, that is your customer base that you need to learn to manage effectively and efficiently. Times are changing and it's 2019, notifications are definitely a thing, especially when you owe me money from a business dealing. I couldn't imagine selling them an Hermès bag for over $10k and not getting notified once it sold. Another thing- once they sell your item be prepared to wait a whole month for you to get paid. Yes you read correctly, a WHOLE MONTH. And the money is not conveniently sent to you, after a month it is then MAILED to you. Making it a total of 35+ days after your item is sold before you receive any kind of payment. Also, they take 50% of the sale. So what I'm trying to figure out is what work they even do to deserve the 50% cut, I mean they can't even send out a notification for crying out loud. The more I write about it the more it frustrantes me. You're better off selling off eBay or another consignment shop, their process is outdated and completely inefficient. There are numerous vintage stores in Boca Raton, and I visited the three top-rated. I drove from fort lauderdale to visit this store I am a tourist from montreal so I brought my kids with me as soon as the two ladies working in the store saw me with my children they not only made comments about them not touching anything (obviously they were not welcome) beside that there were no deals in that store the bags were old and expensive I am a big consiment boutique shopper and this must have been the worst one in florida for bad service and choice of merchandise.
