Well... I checked into the hospice resale shop by accident which was listed at the same address. The JCC one is the only I could find at this address -- so I'm not sure if the other thrift is still here or what. I really liked this store. They have sanitizer and a self administered temperature check machine at the door as you enter. The main reason I liked it? The quality of the items were high and there was a lot of stuff to see. Plus I actually found something to bring home with me -- a lovely small black silk vintage evening purse/bag -- for only $4. Some of the items are quite pricey here -- a combo of it being located in Boca Raton and the value of the donated items. And prices are more resale/consignment style than thrift per se. But the seasoned shoppers will do well here -- searching out those bargains! The staff was friendly. It was easy to navigate. There's furniture, bric a brac, glassware and China, accessories, clothing, and home decor. Payment was fast and easy. This is a place to return to... as stock changes as donations constantly come in. I'm sure we will be back if in the area. read more

Sales from this thrift store benefits the non profit Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center which was established in 1983. According to their website the purpose of the community center is to "promote and enhances Jewish culture, heritage and values through educational, spiritual, social, wellness and recreational programs." Of the several thrift stores I visited on that day, this was my least favorite. They sell furniture, clothing, and home goods. Their purse section was almost non existent but the thing that really made me leave was their sky high prices. I glanced at a lighthouse shaped tea pot and the price was $30. Maybe if it was an antique but it was just an ordinary tea pot. I may have come during a day when their inventory was low but in any case I thrift for bargains and there weren't any to be had here. read more

If you love shopping resale this a great find. From the moment you walk in til you check out at the register you will be treated with VIP status. When does that ever happen at a resale shop?? Great values on clothing and furniture and kind courteous service. I love a bargain and never thought much about the less than kind treatment I got at Goodwill and Restore. However, now I go the Levis JCC first. I want them to have first crack at my dollars$$$ and I have no doubt they put them to very good use in our community! BRAVO! BRAVO! I stopped in here with the intention to take a quick walk around. Well, that lasted about all of two minutes. I didn't feel the love. I walked in and the cashier looked right at me & turned her head. No greeting whatever. Not even a smile. I said "good morning, how are you"; I took it upon myself to make the first move. She still had her head turned & didn't acknowledge my cheerful hello. So rude. Drab store, overpriced used clothes, nothing nice. Looked at some wine glasses, but they were ridiculously priced. I could go to Macy's and buy a nicer set for a lot less money & they would be new-not used. On my way out, the cashier told me the scarves are 50% off. I thanked her and and left. Horrible service. Two stars because the store is clean and there was a lot of parking. I won't be back. read more

We came beee to drop off many items for them to sell. I am always in favor supporting the Levis JCC in Boca Rayon. I'm always happy to help where I can. We dropped off clothes, and knick knacks that's someone else will use. While we were dropping off, we decided to go in and browse. I was glad to see they were taking temperatures at the door and they had hand sanitizer there as well. They also had one way signs throughout the store. They sell clothes, items for the house etc. Unfortunately I didn't find anything to my liking to buy but it was good to get out of the house! I am glad to see they are following the protocols for the C-19. read more

I don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe the management changed. If they go any cheaper on the clothing, they may as well toss it all in a pile and give it away. I've only been a few times. But, each time the girls and the gentleman, I assume is the owner or manager, were all extremely friendly. I could tell people coming in were regulars and all were treated like family. These people are volunteering so we can find items we like and can use. I see women constantly moving, putting items on the racks and shelves. Maybe those complaining about the prices, went to the place across the parking lot from Levi's. Thank you, Levi! I'll be back! read more

This is a nice thrift store. I felt good shopping here because I really think that the JCC is a great charity. Unfortunately the pricing is really off. Everything seems to be too cheap and I know that's strange for me to say because I'm trying to get the best deal that I can. But everything is kind of picked over. That's what happens when you price things too low. If you frequent this store I'm sure that you can find lots of good deals and good quality clothing. read more

Levi's JCC RESALE Boutique in Boca Raton in the Shops at Unoversity Park on 20th street is the place to go. I use to live in the Boca Raton right around the corner but moved to Tamarac, Fl ...in a whole different county but trust me the drive is always worth it. The store is organized and inviting with loads of unique items. This time I called in advance looking for a specific item and Eric Goldman the Vice President of Resale Services himself answered with a smile in his voice and willingness to check and assist. He went above and beyond and told me he had a version of what I wanted and I set a time to go in. When I came in (I use a walker) to pick up the item I shopped the store and found even more things. Parking was easy and I could also navigate the store easily it was so well set up. My visit to Levi's JCC Resale Boutique was nothing short of spectacular. Eric greeted everyone and knew many customers by name. He took the time to tell me about the many ways they support the community agencies and various programs and as a previous community services Director locally and nationally I was beyond impressed by the stores layout and ways they serve the community and create a great customer experience that gives back. I highly recommended spending in ways to support 360 degrees and Eric and the team there have clearly exceeded the mark. I look forward to shopping there again... worth the drive for everything from art to furniture to clothing, shoes, trinkets and treasures. And as an fyi...Eric advised on our initial call he had another item but it was not there but would call if itbbecame available...he not called but took the time to remember me days later so color me impressed! Ripp off! They are selling clothing and shoes they don't pay for at retail prices. In addition, the place is run by morons! I schlepped a 60 lb bag from across the parking lot, as soon as I finally got to to the front door I was told I had to schlep it 60lb bag around to the back. I am sure the value was $2000.00. When I got to the back I asked if some one can help take the bag out for me. I was told by a young girl she was the only one there. So I decided that since I am here I will just drop the bag at the door. I called the so called mgr and found out she is a moron as well as RUDE, obnoxious and stupid. Seems it's a pre-requisite to work there. This place is a real rip off, they get free clothing that has been used and charge prices as if they were brand new. I have been going to this terrific resale boutique a few times a week for awhile and always finding my treasure. Whether it's a beautiful piece of jewelry or handbag to a household item. They have beautiful dish sets to designer clothes to a great selection of furniture. Eric the manager has gone above and beyond for me and the staff whether it's the boys in the back to the girls on the floor are always friendly and wanting to help. Oi, this place sucks. I saw a sign that said all clothes 50% off and got stoked......until I saw dresses were $48! Wtf? I will go to an actual store and get something new with tags or go to another thrift store and get 10 items for that. People who "work" (using that term very loosely) are extremely rude. When I asked them where I could drop off locations, the brunette stumpy female with a scowl looked at me like I was trash and surprised I didn't know where to drop off. I ended up meeting her over on the side of the building and she sifted through my donation to see if it was worthy enough of the precious JCC store. I do not recommend this place. Way over priced for used items. I'd rather spend my money at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I guess you are paying "Boca" prices as most of these items are too pricey for being beat up and worn and outdated. Granted, some of the labels are nice, but why pay $35.00 for a used dress!!??? This is my second time at this thrift store and once again very dissapointed! Decoration and kitchen items ridiculously overpriced and in very poor condition. Interesting selection for a thrift store- most of the furniture and the wall art were closer to consignment store level than most other thrift stores, though the clothing (and ever-present mothball aroma) will remind you. Are they running a Thrift Store or Saks 5th Avenue? They charge $5 for certain CDs, $12 for polo shirts. The same designer shirts that you can find at Goodwill for a few bucks. Granted, they do have many nice, high-end items. However, they are still donated items for free. There comes a time when shameless price-gouging must take the backseat to charity. read more
