*** Sep 19 2025 through Nov 2, 2025 *** Fall season is upon us so we know what that means ... it is spooky season! This seasonal event started in 2010 and transformed the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach into a haunted attraction. [Ticket price]: The management company uses a dynamic pricing system so ticket prices are slightly more expensive on weekends vs weekdays. Here are approximate prices: *** #1 Standard Sunday prices in mid-October *** * General Admission (grants entry to all six haunted mazes) = $59.99 per person. * Fast Fright (1/3 the wait of General Admission; grants entry to all six haunted mazes) = General Admission $59.99 + $25.00 per person. * Evil Express (7 PM Early Entry Included; skip the line; receives access to The Observation Deck where guests will find an exclusive bar, photo-ops , pop-up characters, and a stunning view of Dark Harbor) = General Admission $59.99 + $100.00 per person. * VIP (Evil Express + Captain's Club & the Observation Deck + access to speakeasies + 13% off merchandise + digital photo access) = General Admission $59.99 + $115.00 per person. * Early Entry (7 PM - early access to the Feast and Infirmary mazes): Extra $10 per person on top of General Admission or Fast Fright tickets. * Flex Entry (allow anyone to arrive anytime starting at 8 PM): Extra $5 per person but get slightly more expensive on the day of event. Waste of money - you can pick 9 PM Standard Entry time and the staff will still let you in at 8 PM. *** #2 Costco Fast Fright Vouchers *** * Customers at Costco can purchase two Fast Fright tickets for a grand total of $94.99. To use the voucher code, visitors MUST select a specific time slot and the voucher code will not work if you select Flex Entry. From my experience, the staff didn't bother checking our party's time slot so I don't see a point for anyone to pay an extra fee for Flex Entry. [Parking]: Parking - Lot A (100 Oceangate) and Lot B (300 Oceangate) = $25 general parking and shuttle pick-up. Preferred parking = $40 and the lot is located near the Queen Mary (5-minute walk to the event entrance). I purchased $25 general parking at Lot A and had no issue with the shuttle operation. Expect a 15-minute shuttle ride and 5-minute walk to the event entrance. [What to expect]: Treat the experience as if you are going to a theme park so no costumes, masks, face paint, props or handheld items. In addition don't touch or harass performers or staff. No re-entry. [Entertainment]: * Maiden Voyage Launch Party: Think of this as the welcome performance at the ShipYard at 8:08 PM. * Slider Shows: Nightly performances at 9 PM and 11 PM in Slider Alley in the ShipYard. * Fire Show: Performances at the ShipYard stage at 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. * Final Voyage: A dance party that begins one hour before the closing time in the ShipYard. [Mazes]: These mazes are the main reason to visit the Dark Harbor - Voodoo The Queen's Curse, Feast the Final Cut (inside of the Queen Mary), Breakout Maximum Security, Lullaby (inside of the Queen Mary), Infirmary (inside of the Queen Mary), and Big Top Terror. Personally the best maze is Lullaby and the worst maze is Big Top Terror (too much blinking light and I swear someone could get a seizure from it). Some mazes can get crowded which killed the vibe a bit. [Add-on Experiences]: * Secret Speakeasies (Lady Mabel's Speakeasy Foresight Four Pack - additional $15): Speakeasies are located in undisclosed locations. To get access, visitors can make an appointment to see Lady Mabel for an "astrology reading" via Lady Mabel's Speakeasy Foresight Four Pack or upgrade to a VIP ticket. * Haunted Theatrical Experience (Lady Mabel Presents: The Summoning of Samuel - additional $10): Available for purchase as an a la carte as an upgrade. It is a 10-minute experience. * Damage Control ($15): A 10-minute escape game. * Unlimited carnival ride pass ($19.99): Access to all carnival rides. * Anchor Axe ($5): Axe throwing experience and can be purchased a la carte. * Pirates Plunder Shootout ($10): Pirate-themed shooting game and can be purchased a la carte. * Bayou Buccaneer S'mores: Visitors can purchase a la carte s'more at Voodoo Bayou & they have fire pits to roast your own marshmallows. * Observation Deck: It is an upscale bar only made available to Evil Express and VIP Admission. [Conclusion]: Mazes were mostly hit-and-miss, but there were enough jump scare to keep the overall experience interesting. Given it took our party approximately 3 hours to finish all 6 mazes with Fast Fright tickets, I would recommend sticking with Fast Fright tickets otherwise you will most likely be staying beyond midnight (4+ hours) on busy weekends with additional wait time with General Admission. The entire experience could go beyond 4+ hours with the VIP package because our party skipped the Observation Deck & The Summoning of Samuel, and Secret Speakeasies. A great spot to have a fun date night, but meh experience if I come alone.

We'd been to Dark Harbor Pre-Covid and this was a very different experience. First of all, there are now speakeasies, photo booths, escape rooms, and absolutely everything is a cash grab. And nothing is included with General Admission. The General Admission lines are insanely long, you may get two mazes in, in one night, if you're lucky. And there is still a significant lineup with the Fast Fright passes. The tickets for VIP passes were $190 each, which is insane. But if you don't wanna wait in line this is your best choice. There is one tier higher than VIP, that gets you escorted to the front of the line, and some extra perks but there's only so much you can do in one night. The drinks are $25-30 each. And the food is not any cheaper. If you wanna save money then eat and drink at home. That being said, the mazes were fun. There are a lot of people jumping out at you and there's lots of gore. If you find the speakeasies on the ship m, you can buy drinks and look around the underbelly of the ship which is really cool. The grounds are fun, there's concerts, photo booths and people walking around in costume. It's a fun night, just be prepared to pay for it.

We always have so much fun at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor! This year we purchased VIP passes, and it was 100% worth it and we didn't have to wait in any lines at all! The VIP bar was great, and Jennifer was an awesome bartender super friendly and on top of it. We added on the Pirate's Plunder shoot-out, which was a blast! The guns could've used a little more power, but Jesus made the experience fun he was really engaged and helpful. We also tried axe throwing, which was another great addition to the night. To top it all off, there was a really cool dance party at the end of the event with all of the characters and this was the perfect way to wrap up an already amazing night. Can't wait to go again next year!

I really wanted to enjoy my visit, but unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the start. I purchased my tickets through Groupon, was charged, and when I arrived at the park the tickets did not work. After some back and forth, I had to practically beg someone at the entrance to let me in -- thankfully, they did, and that staff member deserves recognition because they were the only bright spot in that moment. Once inside, I tried to make the best of things and bought s'mores. But right after I paid, the fires for roasting were shut off, which was disappointing and felt poorly timed. Overall, it just wasn't a smooth experience. I hope the park takes a closer look at its ticketing process and guest experience so others don't go through the same. Not sure if ill be back.

What an EPIC night and event! We love haunt season in general and look forward to it every year and neither the Queen Mary or Dark Harbor disappoint! Since the event was making its come back we decided to go with the VIP which wasn't too much more and totally worth it! You get quicker access to the mazes (still a line but no where near as long as the regular line), access to the speakeasy bars (food and rink not included but you get to see some really cool locations like the engine room), and access to the séance. The scareators and mazes are simply amazing. Even when they are switching out they never break character. The fact that the event is on the Queen Mary and you go into some of the deepest, darkest portions of the boat makes it that much more creepier. But it is wonderful! There are plenty of food and drink vendors to wander around and snack while you figure out your next maze or attraction. The event is a bit different than before (pre-covid) where there was an actual VIP lounge with food but equally just as fun. It does get a bit crowded and some spaces are tight but we were lucky enough to get everything done that we wanted to (although I think we accidently missed something towards the front entrance) and found a place to sit and rest when needed. An overall awesome, well priced ticketed event and a must do doing haunt season!

I've been coming here for the last several years and I always have a blast, the mazes are fun the drinks, the s'mores, the food reminds me of the fair just with spooky actors and a Halloween vibe. I love the queen Mary in general, so the fact that they have spooky mazes makes even more worth enjoying every year. The parking situation was definitely crappy. You paid for preferred parking, but you got put with people who paid for general, the VIP tickets are not worth it. You might as well just get the fast fright and save some money. Other than that, it's a fun, spooky activity to do during this Halloween season.

For what we got the price was tooooooooo high. It was a parking lot with three mazes. Three not universal studio mazes but homemade effects! $190 per ticket $40 for parking. And I had to pay to take the tour of the queen mary. I had to pay to go buy a drink at the bar. I'd like 200 dollars back.

From beginning to end there was tons to do, from mazes bars eats and 2 dance floors. The inside dance floor had a DJ and the outside had a live band.

The fire show was one of the better parts of the event

I was really looking forward to Dark Harbor, but the overall experience fell far below expectations. The lines were unbelievably long -- not just for the mazes, but even for the bathrooms. And speaking of bathrooms, the portable restrooms were so dark inside that people had to use their phone flashlights just to see what they were doing. That alone says a lot about the lack of basic preparation and care for guests. Out of the three mazes we visited, only one was actually worth the wait. The other two felt rushed and relied more on noise and chaos than any real creativity or scares. For an event with this kind of reputation and price, I expected much better organization, atmosphere, and effort. I don't mind waiting for something amazing, but waiting hours for something average is frustrating. Dark Harbor used to have a strong reputation -- I really hope they listen to feedback, because this year was not.

CUSTOMER SERVICE- JASON INFIRMARY... When so.eone over 40 tells the help "NATALIE "( in paranthes because I'm sure she lied about her name too and the fake situation which had EMTs and ambulances and the whole park was at...so no one was available to talk to- BS) ... that my knee blew and I couldn't do the stairs ( yes I'm SDI- handicapped)...she basically said suck it up...only way out. 45 minutes later barely walking. I just want to say THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORABLE NIGHT....and I will tell everyone not to bother coming...many other options that have customer service available. SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTING- we even had VIP passes... never again. SIMPLY NOT WORTH IT

What a major dissappointment. I had been looking forward to experiencing this for years and drove an hour and a half to get there to see it. Parking was another $45 on top of the tickets. Granted I only did general admission and not all the add ons but still pricey enough along with $20/drink but the sad part was the payoff. The haunted house looks cool but its about a one minute walkthrough and no scares. Gory things on tables and decor but only one or two mediocre spooks in the whole thing. I was hoping for an experience. Zero jump scares. The ambiance is the only thing they have going. The haunt is so incredibly short and unspectacular. What a dud. I sadly wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you want to be let down.

This was my first time going to Queen Mary's Dark Harbor -- my husband took me, and we had a great time overall! That said, I do have a few critiques. First off, the food was disappointing and definitely overpriced. I paid $20 for a turkey leg that didn't taste good, and my husband got chicken on a stick, which was just okay. The lines were also really long -- even with the Fast Pass upgrade, the wait times didn't feel much shorter. I think it would help if they limited the number of people allowed in at a time or found a way to make the lines move faster. It's hard to fully enjoy the mazes when you're waiting an hour or more for each one. Aside from that, though, the atmosphere was great and the overall vibe was fun!

Dark Harbor is one of our favorite places for Halloween mazes. We went several times before COVID and finally got to go this year again. I am happy it's back. I do really like the decor and the options of vendors and food they have this year. Most of the mazes were fun and some were a bit lackluster. Overall, we had a lot of fun! We will definitely be back!

Instead of providing a helpful response, she told me to look at the menu and pointed out that they only served regular coffee. What was frustrating was that I had already reviewed the menu and was only asking a follow-up question for clarification. As some time servers can offer other options. Had she been paying attention, she likely would have recognized that. The issue wasn't that matcha wasn't available it was the lack of awareness, attentiveness, and basic customer service. As a regular customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, this interaction was dismissive and unwelcoming.
