Came here for a work event, they do have several older arcade classics and pinball games, place was rented out for our company so everything was free play. Here is breakdown of everything I sampled and how it all faired There was fries and chicken tenders ordered for our group, piping hot and delicious, they did have beers on tap but I opted for modelo especial that came in a can. Piping cold straight from the can Game wise they had some older classics Neo-geo arcade unit offering samurai showdown classic, mk2 arcade, street fighter alpha and dual player vr shooting game forgot the name. In all since the place was rented out we didn't have to wait on any game to play, so if you are in the area and want to relive some of your childhood again this applies to folks over 40 lol that use to beg to stay in arcade malls then this is the place for you lol. This Two Bit Circus is a lot smaller than the Two Bit Circus over in L.A., but it's also a pop-up. The staff are very friendly. They have a random stripper pole towards the back. this was extremely misleading, disappointing, and scammy. only TWO games we tried worked, and for FORTY dollars a person ($80 total) we expected a lot more than broken OBSELETE arcade games, no service from the employees, run down empty environment that had literally no variety. i couldnt even get their attention to try out the elevator to space or the VR machine. incredibly disappointing. i tried to keep my hopes up. only two other customers were inside and there were LITERALLY no decorations inside either, it was sparse, cheap, and brightly lit, with no effort to the space. i tried to stay positive and tried out some games, THEY WERE ALL BROKEN. they had some hacked consoles that had street fighter, I TRIED ALL FOUR OF THEM AND NOT A SINGLE ONE WORKED. i pressed the game and it would glitch out, load for a minute, and return to start. the other games were old and rundown, not even i had heard of most of them. we played mario kart and a bowling game, both were old and sticky. walking in, we were shocked by how sparse the environment was and how different it looked than on the website when we paid for our tickets. the bartender came up to us and scanned our tickets, and asked what drink we would like. i asked for an amf, they didnt have it. my boyfriend asked for a moscow mule and he didnt seem sure if they had the ingredients either. for $40, our drinks came in cheap plastic cups as if we were at a rinky dink club, and they didnt taste good either. first of all, on the website, as we paid FORTY dollars for our tickets, they only had pictures of the actual location. second of all, they spoke of multiple vr activities but only had one. lastly, with no service from the employees, i couldnt even try out anything than the broken machines. we stayed for a few minutes and left. this pop up is meant to scam people. with the original location having all the games and decor, this one being in a barebones warehouse with broken games, it's very clear to see how this is a side hustle meant to disappoint people so PLEASE be careful. i am so incredibly disappointed because i was expecting an indoor amusement park, and received this low effort very poor and expensive experience. at the very least have some air hockey!!! i am really, really sad about my money and excitement being wasted. read more

My first time visiting the Two Bit Circus! I have heard about this digital amusement park for a while, and during the pandemic, I even attended some of their online events that they were hosting. They have multiple packages available online, and it's a bit confusing to book with them because the time you pick doesn't necessarily mean that's the time you'll be playing. We booked the Story Room Package and I chose the 3:30 time slot. I arrived a bit early and we checked in at the front, showing the hostess our reservations along with the waivers we have to fill out before entering the facility. At this point, you pick the story room you want to do, and pick a time slot. Which was a bit confusing cause I thought I signed up for 3:30... We then received the 5:00 time slot, only to find that the game broke, so we received a refund because they claimed that it wouldn't be fixed that day. Upon talking to the representative to figure out if we could schedule another time for a future date (which you can't), she points out that the game is working again, so we booked a new time and waited another hour... 6:00 finally rolled around and we FINALLY got into the story room! It was fun, but the sensors didn't work too well, so we had some trouble getting things to function properly. Ultimately, we did have a good time despite the hiccups along the way. I wish the scheduling system was better... so be prepared to wait if you come later in the day. read more

Was in town, and came to Two Bit Circus for a fun date night! We had a reservation (don't think it was needed) and we each had a $50 play card, which was way too much for each of us. Might have $20 left (we kept the cards, if we potentially come back in the future) The venue itself is nice and spacious with a variety of games. There is a bit of outdoor seating as well. The huge letdown of the night was the a lot of the games had malfunctions or had faulty sensors, which ruined some of the competition of the night. Some of the games were also just completely off. Food was subpar. Staff at the bar is friendly. Overall, similar to a Dave & Buster's, but a more spacious venue. All the games definitely need to be checked. The pictures of this arcade are very deceiving. They must be from another location. This location is very sparse. I would say most of the games are ancient arcade games from the 80s that are super slow. They had one VR game where you are a pterodactyl, but you don't actually do anything. There is an elevator that takes you into space which is a little bit cool but the graphics are really old as well. Overall, I don't think it can compete with Dave & Buster's. read more

Imagine a Dave&Busters but smaller, less food options, and 1000x more expensive..... I was here yesterday as the people I was with wanted to go as we had never been before. I thought it was really cool as soon as I walked in but then as i started to walk around, I felt like I had a one and done experience. We go there around 4:30pm and it was fairly quiet but then about 2hrs in, it was PACKED and super hard to do anything. Also, to just get in, you have to at least have some package or money on a card. What if my group want a to do things and share?! I think the only nice thing about this place is the value you put on the card can be used for everything like the games, food, and drinks. This is one of the best places you can celebrate your events. Lima coordinated and communicated with us very professionally. The first time we visited we knew its the perfect place. This is more of a review in praise of Dominic than anything else. My group of about ten had a blast at two bit circus but I really think what set the awesome mood was Dominic. I believe he's the general manager? He was super kind and inviting, before we even stepped through the door. After we told him that we had been to the previous Two Bit Circus he explained that this location is a pop up and gave us the opportunity of touring inside if we wanted to before buying tickets, as it's much smaller. Because the main bartender wasn't there yet for mixed drinks, he gave us discounts on the premade drinks and a free drink to the birthday boy in our group. Dominic also gave us excellent advice on which games to play, activated the space elevator for us, opened up the cute little outside patio for our group, and even told us we could use the small upstairs party room if we wanted. If this wasn't enough, he even gave us all free hats. My group's favorite game was this weird Japanese Mario party meets warioware style game, and even that was a recommendation of Dominic. Honestly, just amazing customer service, super friendly guy, and he really made our collective experience at Two Bit Circus a blast. I almost forgot, when we went out to explore Oktoberfest outside the venue,, he let the birthday boy leave his gift bags with him for safekeeping. What a circus! Hey this place was fun! First time coming here. Heard great reviews and have been anticipating a visit here for a while! We went around 10:30pm after being in the area. This place is huge! So much open space! Right when you walk in, you see a progress flag which is really important to me. They have special deals depending on what night it is. There is a TON to do here. A ton of games that I've never seen before... a lot of stuff that I believe you can only do at a place like this! There is an abundance of VR games, classic pinball, an amazing game featuring basketball / connect four... adult hungry hungry hippos (I'm sure kids can play too) where you essentially ride a hippo to collect balls, a snack bar, games where you have to work in a group to interact with each other... a full bar... this circus has everything! We played the med school game which is an extra charge and it was hilarious! I recommend it because we didn't know what to expect but we had a lot of fun. 5 people can play. It was so funny. We didn't do any of the story rooms but they seemed very popular. Next time! I love the tree that changes colors with the moving birds... I could stare at this all day. We admired the bar seats that were ponies and loved the hand sanitizer stations everywhere. Much needed in this day and age. So glad we got to check this place out! Got to meet a lot of wonderful yelpers, it was great to see fellow gold and black badge reviewers that share the same passion. The employees and bartenders are really the icing in the cake. There were some cool games, but overall, it's a regular arcade and very overpriced. When we went, their entire parking lot was empty but they closed it off to patrons because "their outdoor patio was open". Literally no people were outside in the lot and everyone had to find parking several blocks away - again, while they HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING LOT. Ridiculous. Lol I saw several games, including VR that were not sanitized after each use. Games and drinks are overpriced like crazy. A TINY Casamigos and pineapple was $18. I sipped some of my drink while walking around and then went back to the bar so my friend could order a drink. I put my drink (still 1/3 left) on the counter so I could sit and pull purse up and the bartender grabbed my drink and tossed it! An $18 drink. He then rolled his eyes when I said I wasn't done with it and said "it felt like mostly water anyway". WHAT??? Liquid feels like liquid. Anyway, he then took a well tequila and poured a tiny shot "to make up for it". No. That did not suffice, for again, an $18 Casamigos drink. I probably played 3 games because it got so packed and ended up just leaving. I'm only giving 2 stars for some of the games I liked. I love any kind of arcade but this was especially cool because it had a lot of VR games and experiences. We paid $50 per person for the entry fee and we were able to use our credits towards the VR games or regular games. We played some regular, more familiar games, and also put our names down on the waitlist for the VR games. I really liked the zombie shooting one, it was a lot of fun! They also did a good job sanitizing the equipment after each play. The bar was cool, pretty standard that they're a little pricey at places like this. We didn't end up using the whole $35 (only played games) so I do think the price is a bit steep. The games are intricate and collaborative which makes it fun to go with others. Two Bit Circus is like a Round 1 and a Dave & Busters, it's a warehouse with arcade games and a task game room, which they call an escape room but it's really not. The cheapest package is $35 to go in and you can use those funds however you like-games, alcohol or food. However, a lot of the game machines are broken. Also, there aren't that many game machines to begin with. Prepare to line up for some games you want to play. Some games are actually fun, but they get old fast. I'm not sure if all the escape rooms are like this, but the doctor one and the candy one is just one room you're in the entire time solving some puzzles and doing tasks. Overall, no this is not recommended because of the $35 per person mimimum you have to pay when a bunch of machines are broken. Parking is expensive too so you have to find street parking if there are any. read more

I tried the VR, there are different areas, kinds and types. it was tons of fun and very addicting! The staff are attentive and they clean their headset devices before and after someone uses. Had a great time here! I think it's great for date night or a night out with some friends. First off - parking was tough. From what I understand, their actual parking lot is now a patio so your only option is street parking or the parking garages in the area. We went pretty early (around 6:30pm) so it was pretty empty. We got our tickets online - $35/person which gets loaded onto a card that you can use for the rest of the night. It works on games, food, and drinks (including alcoholic drinks!) We only chose one VR game since they didn't have a huge selection for 2 player ones. It was a pretty cool experience that lasted about 15-20 minutes. It cost $25/person which we paid for by cash, but you can use pre-loaded card as well. In retrospect, we probably should've used the card for it because we were struggling to finish the $$ on our card at the end of the night. (Since we aren't from LA, we knew we wouldn't be back.) We played a lot of the arcade games, got 2 alcoholic drinks, and got the loaded tater tots (SO GOOD - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). My only complaint is that there aren't enough arcade games and the prices for the VR games are a bit high. Also wish there were more 2 player VR games. read more

Ever since the pandemic, the concept of this attraction venue changed probably for the worst. You are required to purchase game cards of $35 (min) regardless if you wish to play or simply accompany a friend that wants to attend per person. $35 will get you 700 bits of playing credits to use. Each game (depending on difficulty/popularity/etc.) can range from 20+ bits and beyond per game. The escape room is $25 per person and the VR headset ones are $12pp for less than 5 minutes. They accept walk-ins or you can make a reservation ahead of time by up-fronting the payment in advance. Upon arrival, you're required to fill out your personal information via mobile device which is a waiver form for check-in. Prior to COVID, this place was a free walk-in facility. No min purchase needed upon entry. As far as games, they were interactive. It's a great space to come celebrate a group gathering. They have VR games, escape-like rooms and regular floor games great for all ages. This place isn't cheap so expect to be spending over $35 per person if you want to thoroughly enjoy your experience. Cocktails ranges around $13-$15 bucks. Masks are required throughout the vicinity. Ultimately, if you haven't been here, it's one of those attractions you come ONCE and nothing more in your lifetime. I really had high hopes for this place... but honestly, I would still rather go to Dave and busters for an experience like this. The idea is cool and all, but the prices are just outrageous. Each arcade game will range anywhere from $1.50 to $4 to play. But there's no incentive to play. There's no ticket or rewards system. The story rooms are $22 a person and last a little bit less than 30 minutes. It sucks that each room has a minimum requirement for the number of people to run the room. I went with just one other friend and we ended up waiting so long that they had two carnies join us so we could play. But even then, the game could accommodate more players and would have been much easier with other people. The food and drinks are also overpriced. $16 for a cocktail is too much! And the food is all cheap and crappy "carnival food". But even tho it's cheap looking food, you'll still over pay! There's really not many vegetarian options either. They have a private parking lot that they block off to have outdoor seating but no one ever uses it. Such a waste. Just let us park. I have no desire to come back. read more

We heard from various friends that Two Bit Circus was a fun spot to hang out at, and after doing some research, we saw you could do reservations online. They have package deals that are more value as you purchase for more people. - PARKING - Street parking, and I believe they have a private lot for valet parking. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Staff was very friendly and helpful where ever we ended up within Two Bit. There's a good variety of games, ranging from fair-esque setups, to more advanced interactive technology, and of course the VR experiences. I would definitely recommend you head to the VR check in area first to secure a time slot as it might get busier later! Everything is sanitized as parties rotate in and out of the experiences / event rooms. - EXPERIENCE - We got to try a good amount of the games while we were there, including the Candy Workshop and the VR Zombie game. The Candy Workshop set up was a bit wonky and we had to step out while they fixed it, but once it got going it was pretty fun. I was just disappointed that there was really only 2 full rounds of workshop, but it was a fun experience in the midst of all the chaos. The VR Zombie game was also very fun, and not too scary for those that don't enjoy horror too much. - OVERALL - I could see how coming here once would be enough for me, as the experiences are more of a one time play through rather it being replayable. The arcade games are fun, but again, once you play it, it loses its entertainment factor. Fun late night hang with friends or a good date spot! Two Bit Circus is located in Downtown LA. While they have a large-ish parking lot, they closed it off to the public and we could only do street parking. Before you're allowed to go inside, you must provide proof of vaccination. After showing our cards, we headed inside. Our group made sure to purchase tickets ahead of time online which I recommend doing so you can ensure they have room. We also got to skip the line of people waiting to get inside. The check-in process was very easy and the $35 ticket per person goes directly towards a game card which can be used for any of the games or the bar. After we checked in, we went to the back and signed up for one of the puzzle rooms. I read great reviews on the Doctor room but it wasn't able to hold our party size and we didn't want to split up. Instead we went for the Candy room, which was $25 a person and you can use your preloaded game card or credit card. When it was our time to play the game, we had to wait an additional 15 mins due to technical difficulties of getting the room set up. After that, they let us in and we were able to start playing the game but unfortunately about 10 mins in the technical difficulties continued. It was a bummer, but the staff were very nice. We were each refunded $25 and they also gave our party an additional $75 in game points. For the rest of the night we spent our points on the other arcade and VR games. My favorite was connect four basketball, but the VR games were also fun to try. Beware that the VR games do cost more points so it's easy to drain your points quickly. The VR games can also fill up for the night so make sure to book all your tickets for the games you want to play early. Overall we had lots of fun and I'd go back again, especially to try the Doctor puzzle room and the rest of the VR games. The bar had a good selection too and they offer food if you get hungry. Things were priced fairly and I didn't feel like it was a rip off like other adult arcades. Probably best to allocate about $50-$75 per person. read more

My Mom will be proud because I finally got my medical degree from Dr. Botcher's 20 minute medical school *insert proud tears here*. This is an arcade and interactive place for adults and I LOVE it. This place is so fun!!! From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But once you enter, it's a nicely decorated arcade with high tech games (think of Dave & Busters but more VR). There's lots of bright lights and fun games to play. Upon entry, you need to pay a $35 entrance fee per person but it goes to a playing card you can use on games, food and drinks. There's lots of carnival-type games that you can play through a screen, arcade games, even pinball machines! Their drinks are very great too, you can purchase with the game card. They have mixed drinks as well as shots of alcohol. I believe they also have some weekday drink deals as well. This place was so much fun with friends. So I finally had a Friday off and wanted to do something new with my daughter and found this place close by me. I was excited to find a barcade that wasn't "dave and busters". I bought the duo package online and it worked out perfectly for the both of us. We were able to do everything we wanted to try out. The place looks fun, I thought it was odd they don't play music though.. the bar area is also nice and drinks are so good, they even come with a to-go top for easier "playing and drinking" lol. We didn't try the cafe because we went out for dinner right after. My daughter was able to do 3 VR games and I did 1 ( I only wanted to do one, I find them terrifying) and we both did a bunch of arcade games the rest of the time. I don't see me coming here often though because my daughter is more obsessed with the "play and win a prize" aspect of arcades and they don't have that here. Also considering the VR games are pricey and uses up all your points, its just not as worth it to me. But it was definitely fun to try. read more
