Love this tattoo shop. Great vibes and a relaxing atmosphere. They were very flexible with scheduling. Caroline was my artist, and she did an incredible job with my tattoo. I highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting a tattoo, and I will continue going here for any future tattoos.

I had my first two tattoos done here by Cristian and Tina and it was an amazing experience each time. They're both great and bringing out what you want. Cristian's honesty in particular was extremely helpful when I was getting my first piece done and had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere is great too. I'm a fan of skulls and horror and the decor reflects that, and each artist had a good playlist going. I'm normally a snarky a-hole, especially on Yelp, but I can't be anything but sincere and grateful to these amazing artists!

I had a tattoo at this shop and was not satisfied with the quality of work. The artist was an amateur apprentice with little experience. The rose tattoo faded within a two week span and when i contacted her she took over a week to response and so I chose to go to another tattoo shop. It was evident after the new tattoo artist did the amazing! touch-up, that her work was one of an amateur. In addition, the cost was too expensive for the quality of work that she did. I would not recommend this shop to anyone unless they understand that amateurs are working there, also no one at the shop had a mask on the shop is way to small not be attentive to this matter. UPDATE!!! I want to make sure whom ever is reading this update that i have no relation to this person i was just a client let's clear that up. I did not get personal this is business and expressing my experience. Some Tattoo artist have a gift but not everyone has that unique talent. And yes I expect to have a tattoo that is exceptional since it will be on my body for the rest of my life! So stop being unprofessional and giving out my personal number to a stranger so grow up before you get reported for harassment. Please see attached text message.

My latest piece, done by Cristian. I will never go anywhere else. This guy works magic!

I really can't speak highly enough of this business and the people who work here. First and foremost, when you walk into Queens Ink, you feel like you've walked through a time warp. The décor is like nothing you've ever seen in a tattoo parlor, and in all honesty, this is a GREAT thing. All too often, tattoo parlors are adorned with "run of the mill" tattoos that are pre-designed, boring, and show ZERO talent by the artists. What's the point? Queens Ink is decorated with an old school, educated flair, without the arrogance of posting a million tattoo designs on the wall. The old style barber chairs add character and oddly enough, walking into this place, I knew this is where I would be getting my next tattoo. The people....the only saying of "don't judge a book by it's cover" comes to mind. Everyone in the shop is friendly, able to hold a conversation, and they are always in an upbeat mood. I have been to other places in which I have felt the staff is rude and not attentive. You will not have that issue here! Cristian is simply AMAZING. I told him the two tattoos I wanted, and set up an appointment for the following night. When I came back, he had everything set up for me. I got the word "faith" tattooed on my wrist and Cristian had what he felt were the best fonts. Wow, I mean, just wow. Most places let you sit there and sift through 1,000,000 different fonts. I went with one, and I could not be happier. The second design went on the back of my neck and Cristian did a great job using the design I wanted and giving it a little flair. Cristian's line work is the best I have (I have 8 tats and counting). While leaving the shop, I took a look at Cristian's artwork. Needless to say, I was impressed. It became clear that Cristian is a tattoo artist because he is truly an artist. I plan to have him design and tattoo a custom piece next month and I have high hopes and expectations that it will be fantastic. One last note, and something else that impressed me. My friend joined me at the end tail end of the session to discuss a tattoo with Cristian that she wanted. Cristian told her that he would not do the tat she wanted in the location she wanted because overtime, it would like terrible. He told us that he has great pride in his work and would not do a tattoo that he knew would cause problems and not last. This just showed that Cristian is not about the money, he's about the client and his reputation. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in getting a tattoo.

Cristian Zink is absolutely amazing. One of the few real artists left. I've had 2 portraits done by Cristian and I am constantly stopped in the street. This place is super clean, and a haven for real artist.

Super cool decor! A couple doors down from Sparrow and the original beer garden of Astoria.

What a great experience and a cool shop! We wanted to do something new & exciting for our 10 year anniversary and this crazy idea seemed to be it! It was something super simple and small and Tina was happy to help! She was super nice! The first thing you notice about the shop is the cool lighting. No crazy harsh lights! It was super easy going in there. They seemed to be super cool with the kids in there waiting as well. I have to say I think anne and I both felt a little cooler after leaving there. To celebrate our little rebellious adventure we down the block to Sweet Jane's ice cream shop and had a dark chocolate fudgestickle (think fudgesicle) with chocolate chips inside ($4). We heart Astoria. Please ask for Tina and let her know that Raul and the family sent you. Thanks Tina! Check out our pix! 4.1.16

After my first, I've been perusing what would be the best style for my second (I really wanted to get a tattoo dedicated to my cat, Matcha). I instantly fell in love and as fate has it, there was an inspo photo of an omamori with jiji (from kiki's) and cherry blossoms that hit my instagram. Instantly, I knew that this is the style I would like so I messaged Yeonnie and she responded quick. She will do the sketch a day before your appointment (you'll get a cute sketch by midday) and you can request any changes. I absolutely adored the edition of my cartooni-fied cat. Now that I have it on my upper left arm, I am so happy to have a few of the things I personally love forever on my body. Thank you :) I definitely would recommend her. She's quick so the painful moments does not last as long. highly recommend!!

Very chill vibe and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lastly, being I am a virgin when it comes to tattoos, I was a little nervous and didn't know exactly what to expect. I had pondered a particular design for over 10 years. I happened to meet someone who had multiple tats showing on the subway and asked her out of the clear blue for her opinion. Well it must have been Good Karma. (Not Chappell Roan's Good Karma) Turns out Nicole is a tattoo artist and gave me a better idea for what I had been contemplating. Nicole gave me her card and we exchanged emails going over what came to be my final design. This put me over the edge and decided to pop my tattoo cherry. I booked my appointment with her. She took great care when doing my ink explaining everything as we went through the process. I really didn't find it hurting as other people have said to me when they got theirs. Kudos to Nicole if that's unusual for the process to not hurt. I am absolutely thrilled with the way it turned out! No doubt I would recommend Nicole for any artwork. She is truly amazing!
