I…read moredon't have any other department store credit cards so I feel that this really does say something. Whenever I want something cute for my house, especially a seasonal item. HomeGoods is the first place I will go to. I go to all different HomeGoods in Utah and do think they vary a lot, especially between layout and selection. This HomeGoods is unlike any other HomeGoods I have been to however. Technically speaking, I was able to find what I needed and get checked out. I liked a lot of the stuff in the store but one thing just absolutely shook me to my core. I am not claustrophobic, but their layout is really confusing and compact. Things are way to close together and it is hard to have a pleasant shopping experience when you are having to squeeze through the aisles. It is also easy to get lost in this store--it is so compact that the bedding and bath and lighting and everything is just kind of fused together. The checkout seems oddly tucked away in a corner instead of being by the exit of the store like all other locations. I get that it is in a mall and I don't necessarily think it is anyone's fault--they needed to make do with the space that they had...but it is not very comfortable being in this specific home goods. Maybe I just came in at a bad time, but it was so kramed that a customer knocked something over and broke glass while I was in there. You have to tiptoe and squeeze around this location. As mentioned, they do still have a good selection of items and I was able to find what I needed so there was no issues there. It is in a convenient location, which is always a perk!

Bad quality furniture pretending to be luxury at high prices. We got a table from here that came…read moredamaged and when I reached out to their customer service, Joni offered a 10% discount in words, but never followed through on the payment. Also, the table claimed to be made of solid wood, but since it had drill holes in the bottom that they decided to put in there to package the table for who knows what reason, we were able to see it was partical board. So that puts into question their claims on all the tables they have that are "solid wood" and makes me not trust them for future purchases. IKEA is cheaper and probably similar, if not better quality. And they don't lie about what their furniture is made out of

Scratches, dings, peeling veneer. Piece after piece was so poorly built. Joins and seams that didn't line up, lightweight, particle board--just junk...and all at ridiculous prices for the terrible quality. The ONLY redeeming checkmark was a solitary friendly and helpful sales guy that tried to point us in the right direction for the bed frames and sofas we were looking for. Worse than IKEA quality at double the IKEA pricing. Hard pass.

I have IKEA furniture that has lasted for many many years. Does it compare to furniture like Amish made, no but you pay for what you get. $200 table will be durable for $200 worth vs you spend $700 table will last longer. That being said, some items are priced way better than comparative stores like popular stores. I love coming to the cafeteria for a quick bite as well. Those that complain about IKEA lacking service are probably sheltered. Cafeteria establishments don't offer service. They offer food at a cheap value pricing. Want better Service go to a 4 star restaurant. I'll keep coming back. Love strolling thru the massive warehouse. Love buying things that only IKEA offers (Swedish meatballs and chocolates), and I love eating their no service cafeteria food.

My husband and I needed a couple things we had pre-searched online and we found them no problem but when we went to check out there were no cashiers but only a self checkout. I was willing to look past the escalator being out of service and the food court being closed but to wipe out your cashiers seemed cruel. There were almost no staff in sight in any of the other areas, so if you needed help you'd have to hunt for it.
