Our server Zhamani was superb! Excellent service and attention to detail. The food was very good. The Q burger was juicy and flavorful and the side salad was plentiful. Good margarita too! Only knock is the price....but what else would u get at an airport hotel near JFK!

Inside the Marriott, this bar and lounge serves up decent burgers and a well-dressed Caesar salad. The restaurant is filled with light with large windows and modern decor. The burger was overcooked to a medium well or beyond, so I had to leave some on the plate. Great service from Kenny and Jimmy.

First off, the Quimby is beautiful. From the entrance to the hotel, to the lounge and bar area, through into the main dining room. Absolutely gorgeous. Especially being that I am a resident to the area, it feels great to have a place nearby that is nice on the eyes and offers a good quality ambiance for my work from home lunches LOL. Staff is kind and attentive. I will say the price points on the menu are a curious note for me but being that this is one of the few hotels close to JFK, I am not surprised nor turned off by it, it makes sense. The food was presented beautifully and they had a nice cabernet sauvignon to offer. I would not say the food was exceptionally memorable but it was very good. We had the Calamari, a burger, and the steak frites. I am an absolute sucker for a good steak with an herb sauce. It was good, I believe a good finishing salt would've taken it to the next level.

For a hotel restaurant, The Quimby was a pleasant surprise. They have a few different breakfast packages, or you can order a la cart. The pancakes were amazing!! They weren't too thick and had crispy edges, just the way I like my pancakes! The space was clean and bright, with TVs at different points of the restaurant. The service was ok overall.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and was happy to find this restaurant within walking distance at another hotel. I started off with the Jet Fuel - not too strong with just the right amount of spice. For dinner I ordered the Airline Chicken. At first I was concerned the chicken would be dry, but it was actually tender and juicy - I had to remove all the burnt skin. My husband and I split a bread pudding for dessert, which was good but definitely not the best we've had. Overall we enjoyed our meals and would eat here again in the future!

Located inside the Marriott JFK Airport Hotel, this restaurant is truly a gem. While on a layover my family & I tried the following: Chicken Cesar Wrap The Q burger (delicious, grilled flavor) Buffalo Chicken wings All of the items listed except for the wings came with a side of crispy French fries. The staff was pleasant and the environment in the lounge was sophisticated and calm. I would definitely return!

We stayed at the Marriott JFK and wanted to grab some food so decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, Luckily it wasn't too busy and we were seated quick. Service was great and the free basket of bread was a plus we all decided on the burgers for dinner which were really good and would definitely have that again if in the area. The restaurant was quiet and if you wanted you could've eaten at the bar area which was also pretty nice . Overall if you don't want to leave the hotel then definitely a good choice to eat

My husband and I were staying in the Marriott Courtyard- just a few steps away from this Marriott. We were only there for one night. We walked here for lunch. It's very nicely decorated and has a very nice aesthetic. The prices are a little pricey. I got a Caesar salad which was only $14, but then I added grilled shrimp, which was another $12. My husband got the salmon. The waiter asked how he wanted it. We assumed he meant "blackened, grilled, broiled, fried", etc. but he only meant rare, medium rare, well done, etc. Our food came out after about 15 minutes. The portions are pretty big. However, for me, my salad was not very tasty just because most of the romaine lettuce was just the white and yellow parts- not much of the healthy greens, AND there was very little dressing on it. What little dressing I did taste, I could tell it was a homemade dressing. The shrimp was very good, but it only came with 4 shrimp. My husband loved the salmon. It was served on a bed of wilted, sautéed spinach and fennel with a side of pumpkin. It was very delicious. He also got a bottle of sparkling water with his meal. Altogether our bill was $73 before tip. A little pricey. But we had a nice, tasty, healthy lunch in a nicely decorated restaurant, with pretty good service. They also have a nice patio area for eating, but it was very windy that day, so we opted for inside. If we ever stay in that hotel again, I would definitely go to Quimby's again.

The Quimby is a full service restaurant with an attentive staff. From bread, drinks and waiter we were covered for dinner. The hotel and restaurant only opened in Nov. Dinner service was a bit slow for the few people in the restaurant. They were out of a cab sav wine listed on their menu. 4 flavors of bread rolls & salted butter. I had the hanger steak medium and it was super tender and delicious. An abundant amount of think fries that were also spot on. I linked the chimi sauce. I should have asked for more. My wife had the Caesar with steak ($+14). Her steak was a tad under done but again flavorful and a lot for the adder. The pickled onions are an odd flavor for Caesar but worked well with the steak. Two glasses of wine and dinner for two for about $100 in NYC next to JFK. I think we did well. Will add breakfast to the review in the morning. Would recommend and will be back when we are staying near JFK before flying to or from Europe. Side note the bar looks nice and a good size with lots of seating away from bar.

The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

The exposed brick, greenery and neon "Let's Do Brunch" sign give it a fun vibe and make for some great pictures. It was quite busy when we were there, which wasn't surprising given its popularity. Our server, Syriah, was very good. She was friendly, attentive, made recommendations from the menu and even took our group photo for us -- and got a good one! We really appreciated her service. The food was good, although I wouldn't say it was exceptional. I've had better brunch food at other spots, but everything I had was enjoyable and nicely presented. I tried the mimosa flight, which was definitely fun and Instagram-worthy. The drinks were a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but Tropical Sunset was my favorite of the flight. And I have to mention the funniest part of the whole experience: before brunch, my Sorority sister kept texting me, "Let's do brunch." I kept responding, "Okay, WHERE?" She finally had to explain that LET'S DO BRUNCH was the name of the restaurant! So the place had us laughing before we even arrived. Overall, it's a cute, lively neighborhood spot with good food, fun drinks and very good service. My wife and I went on July 8th so I'm a little late with this review, but overall we had a pleasant experience. Service was a little slow, but it was pretty busy so that's understandable. We really enjoyed our meals--she had the chicken and waffles (pictured) and I had the steak, eggs with fries instead of homefries (not pictured because I dug into almost immediately). The chicken was flavorful and the waffles soft and fluffy. I am a Well Done Beef Warrior and the steak was well done without being dry and tough. We didn't love the cheesesteak eggrolls much as they were oily and had a weird aftertaste. Wouldn't order that but would absolutely go again for the mains. Also, PLEASE get the Dulce De Leche iced coffee, it's incredible. I had one with my meal and ordered another to go.
