Close to the water. It's a modern hotel. Clean and simple design. Interior has nice simple design and decor. It's nicely and we kept. I could stay here, there's close by restaurants and shops as well as casual food dining right nearby. There's also a little restaurant attached to the hotel.

We stayed here for a weekend in April 2024 for my aunt's birthday party. The room was comfortable. We were able to relax in the chais and watch television. The housekeeper that worked on our floor was so sweet and friendly. I like that most of the stores were close by. we didn't have to drive to travel for snacks. Quiet and calm area. Loved the view by the water. We ate at Timothy's restaurant.

I stayed here for a wedding of a really good friend and I was happy with the stay. Yes, it did just open so they're still working out the kinks. However, the staff is so helpful that it makes up for the kinks. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom has clean lines and no tub. Floor to ceiling shower...love it. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel! 4/5 and I'd absolutely stay here again. Great location in the heart of Wilmington's waterfront. There are ample restaurant and bar options in easy walking distance, and the hotel boasts its own bar and restaurant. Bar service was good, despite it being busy. The Moscow Mule was excellent. My husband was happy with the temp and carbonation of his beer. The food was meh, but perfectly edible. Other reviewers have given their food lots of good reviews, so I'm willing to say maybe we were an outlier. The room was comfortable. It could use an update, but it was clean, comfortable, and maintained. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was a descent size and had great counter space and lighting. We only heard other hotel patrons once, so I think the rooms are pretty well noise insulated, too! The reason the hotel lost a star is because the shower was yucky. It was clean and all, but holy mold, Batman! The grout was grosssss. I showered and all, but ... eek. So, check the shower when you get in the room and complain if you get a yucky shower! The lobby area is well maintained and very comfortable, and the staff were accommodating. There is a nice sundries selection in the lobby. Really, this is a nice hotel!

Great location with good dine-in options at the lounge and restaurant. 24-hour fitness center is a great perk

I had a view of the Blue Rocks stadium, although that was easily shut out with the complete blackout curtains.

I had always wanted to stop in and luckily I had an excuse when I saw they were listed on the the Art Loop earlier this month. I'm a big fan of the Wilmington Art Loop and rarely miss one. I must say though I was shocked to see a $20 entry for the privilege of paying a cash bar and a few finger bites. So, if my wife and I pay the $20 a head cover and each order a bottle of Yeungling it's $52? I don't care how rich you are, you need a hole in your head to pay $52 for two bottles of Miller's Lite. Was this money going to a charity or strictly for profit? I'm not going to begrudge a private club having whatever type of event they want. I am asking though please don't associate your organization with the Art Loop, a traditionally free and fun mingling of the community, if you're going to charge a cover that goes beyond even what a local club would charge on a Saturday while a band is playing. Art was alright, typical of what you would see in a downtown office building. Local landmarks and landscapes. You could actually go to the Brandywine Museum of Art and see some Andrew Wyeth for less than the price of admission here. Even better the Delaware Art Museum only charges $25 for two adults and four children and both of those have a lot more than the dozen work we saw hanging here.

This is a review for Angelo's Pizza. Personally I preferred Pizzeria Bardea. I'm honestly not sure…read morewhat was going on at Angelo's. From the start, things were weird. The person taking my order didn't seem familiar with the menu, which was surprising for a place focused on something as straightforward as pizza. It took quite a while for the pizza to be assembled before making it to the oven. After ordering, I waited nearly 40 minutes, which I had buyer's remorse, considering I could have just ordered two pre-made slices and heated them up. Bardea was able to get an order in and out in like 10 minutes. Even weirder, comes the confusing part after Angelo's takes the pizza out of the oven. Twice, the pizza made it to a box, where employees stood over it, seemingly unsure of what to do. They appeared to be discussing it and even taking photos while the pizza just sat there getting cold, for several minutes. Is this an Instagram moment? I genuinely had no clue what was happening. By the time I finally received my order, the pizza was luke warm and the whole experience was frustrating. I have no interest dealing with whatever was happening here. I hope they work out the kinks of whatever the heck was going on at this place.

I haven't tried all the food stalls yet, but they're on my list. The layout has lots of seating in the center, with food on the side walls. It's like a more upscale food court. The vibe is chill, with simple modern yet cozy tables and benches amid lots of slightly industrial design touches. It's a good spot for lunch with colleagues or sitting alone with a book, especially on off hours. If you're looking for something a bit elevated but not super fancy, DE.CO is a great spot.

I have visited the museum many times over decades but in the last two years since joining, I've probably visited just as much as I did in all the time prior. There's quality diverse program on top of the standing exhibits in the galleries and visiting ones. I am a born Wilmingtonian and have always enjoyed culture and the arts, which again is why I have frequented this museum many times before, but I think it's a jewel that many locals neglect to appreciate. You don't have to go to the larger regional cities for acclaimed artists as many are here. The proximity to other places of interest in the area, can allow you to enjoy this and many others during a day or weekend trip if you're not local or live outside of the city. Join the mailing list and check the events because there is always something going; the images on my review are from a few of them. I keep saying I'm there so much I should join the team, but this is my way of supporting in sharing this review.

Decided to visit this museum this past Thursday as it was later in the day and a search revealed…read morethat they were open until 8pm on Thursdays (photo attached). Approximately an hour into our visit we were ushered out of one of the exhibits on the first floor and told that exhibit would be closing. Thought it was odd that a particular exhibit in the museum would be closing early, but we complied, simply moving on to other exhibits. At approximately 4:20 we were in a room on the second floor and the lights suddenly went out (pitch black, can't see your hand in front of your face, darkness). We were stunned for a moment before using our phone flashlights to safely exit. We were then met at the door by a confused staff member who stated that the museum had actually closed at 4pm. We began making our way toward the exit, explaining that the website listed that the hours were until 8pm on Thursdays. We were then stopped by a second employee who accused us of having entered the room *after* the lights had been turned off (because, as everyone knows, the best way to view art is in total darkness). She then said that we had already been informed that the museum was closing. ("Exhibit" and "museum" mean different things.) We explained once again that the website listed Thursdays' hours until 8pm. Rather than appreciate the confusion (much less apologize for the communication error), she insisted that we must have been looking at the hours for the following week (not true) and added a superfluous directive to leave (as we were literally stepping toward the exit). Up to this point, we had been enjoying our visit. However, this rude encounter certainly marred our experience
