The bar tender was great. The bar and where you played slots was very clean. I would recommend it to anyone.

Other than having to deal with a freight train that stopped on the tracks right as we were trying to get to the restaurant from the theater, and having to go way out to the west end of town to get around it, everything about our experience was superb! I'm pretty sure we were seated by the owner, who was amazing to talk to. You could tell she loved what she did and what they provide to their customers. She put us in the charge of the bartender, who brought our drinks, took our orders, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal, even though she was doing double duty. We had a large lunch, so we weren't going to eat much for dinner. As soon as I read the menu I realized I was going to have a hard time deciding, but I love cinnamon ice cream, so I knew I needed to leave enough room for dessert. I ended up ordering the grilled cheese, which came with bacon (hold the tomato), and the homemade chips as my side. Everything was delicious. I brought half of my meal home, and it was just as delicious when reheated with my air fryer a few days later. My husband had the Acres Pretzel, which was huge and yummy. (I had a bite to try it!) The cheese sauce with it was thinner than expected, but very good. We started out with a Manhattan for me and some Lena Brewing caramel pecan coffee stout for him. Mine was perfectly crafted, and I took a sip of his, which was also yummy. In addition to my cinnamon ice cream, we each had a dessert drink. He had the Chocolate Caramel Kiss, and I had the Banana Bread. Again, very yummy. The cost of all of this came to under $75, which we thought was marvelous. Coming out from the city, the prices here are definitely more reasonable and much appreciated! We have this restaurant on our radar now, so anytime we are out this way again, we will head there. We are already making plans to come out and see a show next summer, if not before that. To the owner and all the other staff, thanks for such a lovely experience! You have a wonderful establishment!

I was skeptical because it's in the Rochelle Airport. I'm glad we decided to try it out. We went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't very busy. There was a large group there, but plenty of tables available. The tables/booths do need so updating as they are starting to show the signs of age. Open ceiling, standard bar décor, patio area, view of the runway... This is a standard bar and grill. Nothing fancy. As for the food. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Black N Blue Brisket Burger. The cheese sticks were of decent size, had an okay flavor. I feel they were a little over cooked, but they were still good. The burger was above average. Definitely better than anything you get at a fast food restaurant and the fries were also above average. Over all the food isn't anything wowing, but it's good and I did enjoy my meal. Now here's the selling points: !) for all of my Gluten Free peeps out there. They can replace the bread on any sandwich with a gluten free wrap for a $3 upcharge. 2) Everyone one of their signature drinks can be made alcohol free, thus turning them into Mocktails. I ordered a blackberry hibiscus mule mocktail and my friend got the same with alcohol. We both thought they were delicious. Our service was good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We had no issues. I think this might be a regular stop for the both of us.

When we arrived, two groups were eating in the dining area. There are two dart boards, a video Touch Tunes Juke Box, a bowling game and a Pac Man Pixel Bash game on the south wall. We were greeted promptly and provided with menus. We went with their fried cheesy mac with ranch dressing for an appetizer. My wife ordered their Rum Bucket, which actually came served in a small, plastic bucket with a handle. It was rum, pineapple juice, and more. She said it tasted good. I went with a beer. For the main courses, my wife had their fried fish, which she said was hot out of the fryer. I had the Italian Beef sandwich with giardiniera (which was a 50 cent add on.) Both came with fries and a serving of cole slaw. I had a dish of au jus with the Italian Beef which wasn't listed on the menu. The food was fresh and tasted fine. The giardiniera was liberally applied to the top of the stuffed sandwich, but not so much inside. The Italian Beef sandwich was so full, it was hard to get it distributed into the roll. The roll was slightly toasted. The fish serving was two large pieces. We both were satisfied with the portions. This place is just starting out. The bar was empty or had one or two people - it could use some more local support.
