We brought here wife's car to replace engine coolant. The car was 10 years old, and Mazda requires…read morecoolant replacement. I explicitly indicated at the dealership that we expect full coolant replacement. After the service we discovered much more coolant spillage on parts around the radiator than would be reasonable. A lot of coolant spillage was later discovered even on the panels underneath. This made me want to check the coolant that the car received. I tested the coolant in the reservoir with commercially available tester. Turned out that the coolant was not compliant. Boiling point was found to be 126°C, freezing point was -14°C. Mazda uses coolant FL22 with boiling point: 132°C and freezing point: -43°C. I contacted the management (general manager and service manager) about the non-compliant liquid in the coolant reservoir. They refused to do anything about it. The result of the service at this dealership: non-compliant coolant in the reservoir and coolant stains everywhere under the hood.
