I took the CCW 8-hour renewal course presented by Chris and Karen. The class is a comprehensive review of all aspects of concealed carry, including legal consequences should you find yourself having to defend yourself or your loved ones. The course is interactive and Chris and Karen take the time to answer questions. The instructors are very knowledgeable and give great examples from real-life experiences. Many of their stories are entertaining and make the class go by more quickly. If you need to renew your CCW permit, this is the class to take. read more

Yes, it is a little out of the way, but worth the trip. Friendly staff, well stocked store, nice range without someone constantly harassing you. I did find it odd that they had a line on the cardboard target holder they didn't want you to shoot above. It seemed oddly low. They requested I fold the silhouette target they sold me at the neck line. Otherwise the target would hang down too low and torso shots would end up ricocheting off the ground. The range rules state they'll charge you $1 for each shot above the line even though it is still a foot from the metal trolly arm. Odd. read more

First time here last week. I walked and the nice girl at the counter gave me a quick run down of how things work, checked my ID, sold me a target, and then I was left alone to shoot at my own pace and adjust my targets as needed. No one came over and bothered me at all. After I was finished another worker, younger man in his 30s offered to show me a few firearms and at first I thought he was just being a salesman but he showed me a few guns and explained how they worked and had no intention of making a sale, answered all of my questions, very polite and professional. I was in town visiting the In-Laws and wanted to get some trigger time in so I Yelp'd this local indoor shooting range. Called to see if they had any lanes available and if they rented firearms. They did! This is a great locals place. Very friendly and attentive. The fees were very normal to what I pay back home. Lane $10/hr Gun Rental $5.00 Ammo $22.50 for 9mm Targets $.75 I am looking to buy a Springfield Armory EMP and they had one to rent. I have been looking to rent this firearm for some time now and my local range does not rent this model. I was stoked they had it. I also rented a M&P Shield and a XD. All great weapon systems. It is a little out of the way, however most gun ranges are! The only indoor range that I know of in the surrounding counties. The guys who run the shop are pretty friendly, were able to get us shooting quickly (3 of us). The range fees are not that expensive, considering it is indoor ($10 an hour). Good selection of guns to rent for an additional charge. Lots of other shooting and hunting supplies as well. It was less than $50 to rent a 9mm Glock, shoot for 1 hour and use 2 cases of ammo and targets. read more

My wife and I decided to go shooting one night on date night. The lanes are clean, the staff is extremely helpful and nice. They have a great selection of ammo and accessories. We were so impressed we became members a week later. They had an anniversary event just for members and we ended up buying lots of 9 and 380 ammo as well as a new S&W Shield 9mm at a great price. Great Local Business. Its friendly, clean and well stocked with firearms and supplies. Been here several times to shoot and purchase items. The Range is an excellent store and shooting range. My wife and I went there for a private instruction with Chris. My wife never fired a gun before but within one hour was hitting nothing but 10s. The price is very convenient - we paid barely $120 for almost two hours of private instruction, renting two guns (a .38 Smith and Wesson and a Sig-Sauer P226), the lane, the ammunition. I doubt you'd find anyone to match that price in the area. We came back for more after and have also purchased a handgun from The Range. The prices are good, the range itself is comfortable to use, they put a lot of emphasis on safety, which is always good when you're talking about guns. Reommended read more

I've been taking my son to The Range to teach him standing rifle marksmanship and the place has met our need as a clean and well ventilated range. It's usually very busy on the weekends. The employees are always very nice and the other range users are friendly. The rifle range doesn't appear to be heated except for overheat quarts heaters, and it can feel like shooting outside on cold days...at least there is no rain/snow in the range. read more

I purchased my first gun from The Range. All the staff were very friendly and did not make me feel dumb for asking lots of questions, as I have never owned a gun before. Jill was especially helpful and showed me everything I needed to know to shoot my new rifle. It has turned out to be be a fun experience. I never thought I would enjoy shooting but it is a great release of tension. It 's nice having an indoor range during the bad weather, now that I am shooting more often. The Range will rent you a gun to try for a reasonable price so you will have a better idea of what type of gun you want and are comfortable with. If you do not like your first choice you can move to another gun without paying an additional fee assuming the ammo is the same. The range fee is only $10 per hour plus ammo and guns rent from $5 and up. Yopu can also bring your own gun and shoot if you like. i have already purchased another gun from these folks.
