It's rare to find a selection that offers extra arch support and width in a more personal well curated business. I called the store and the manager who was condescending and rude as soon as he answered the phone, told me there was nothing he could do about it the problem was between me and FedEx. I would think since I ordered the shoes from Famous Footwear they would help me locate my order. When I asked to speak with the manager the person on the phone said he was the manager. When I told him he was being rude he yelled 'Jesus Christ". I was shocked to say the least. I still have not gotten my granddaughters Birkenstocks. I have sent several emails to Famous Footwear but nobody has bothered to call and offer any help locating my order or even to ask if I had received it. Definitely will never do any business here again.

So I always stop in when I'm downtown. At least the last three times I've stopped in this shop the simple employees are SO CATTY . Especially the last time, this heavy blonde cashier looked me up and down, like Regina George, when I walked in and was so disgusting! I am a fortunate woman, and that was such a turn off I walked right out. I mean, how rude! No hello or even an attempt to make a sale! I left and dropped a stack on magnolia pearl and Johnny was across the street at Native Wren, which the women there are SO WONDERFUL! Seeing the newer reviews it seems this is the trend at la te da nowadays. Other than the free people most of the brands are wholesale with a high markup, that's just not for me. Especially the "oh peasant" attitudes. From one small business owner to another, you'll get alot farther just being nice. It's truly that simple.

The one where we live went out of business a number of years ago, but when it was in business it was always dark, dingy, and kind of a mess. This location seems to be really well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, the lines were kept to a minimum and the shelves were all well stocked and organized which is amazing for the day after Thanksgiving. I got there right at 11am and was greeted by a friendly lady in the returns department. The return was easy and the credit went back to the card. I did not have alot of time so i perused the store and saw some clothes that had been deeply discounted ( near the shoe area). They had a nice display of clothes and shoes. The perfume and makeup section looked really nice as well. They had great discounts on luggage and backpacks. To the left of the store there is a separate JC Pennys building that carries mens clothes and childrens apparel. In that building they also carry some appliances. I will definitrly be back to get some stocking stuffers!

You should make a day of it. I throw a pirate bash every other year. Maybe 100 people. Most of them have found great and varied costumes from SOLSTICE.
