It is also nice that there are so many different distances to to shoot at. and there are metal targets at different distances. The shooting area is covered to and has nice mesh screens between them. So my shells will not land on the neighbor. I am not sure how high of a caliber weapon they allow. But I know the guy near me was shooting a 300 Win rifle. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They do not rent or sell guns. and they do not sell ammo. So take you own. They do have targets. Leave your bottles and cans at home. They are not allowed to be shot at here. IMO they make you feel like family.

Now, I ain't gonna lie, I was tighter than a banjo string walkin' in there, thinkin' 'bout all them loud bangs and cold steel. But faster than a jackrabbit in July, two good ol' boys named Allen and Erick swooped in like guardian angels and quicker'n you can say "safety first," they had me feelin' safer than a newborn calf in a barn stall. Allen, steady as a tractor in a hayfield, started me off slower than molasses in January, showin' me the ropes real patient-like. "This here's your safety," he said, pattin' the Glock like it was a trusty hound. "Treat her right, and she'll treat you right." Meanwhile, Erick--built like an oak tree and just as steady--stood back, eagle-eyein' my grip like a hawk watchin' a field mouse. "Ain't nothin' to fret over," he rumbled, his voice smoother than a well-oiled saddle. "We ain't leavin' your side till you're shootin' straighter than a preacher's sermon." And shoot straight I did! Once that first round fired off--*bang!*--it felt like the good Lord himself lit a firecracker in my soul. He didn't rush me, answering all my questions honestly and objectively. Mark helped me with the purchase of the optic and let me put my options on their plastic show gun, as well as up against the model I was planning to put it on. It really allowed me to finalize my decision. He also gave me his personal perspective and preferences, letting me to see things from different angles. It is evident that they have a passion for shooting. One of the RO's let me shoot his Mosin-Nagant, which was incredible. We shot pistols, rifles, and trap. Trap was a blast! The RO helping us with trap also gave us really great tips that made a huge impact on our shooting. The best part of the experience though wasn't what I gained, it was what I lost! I lost my ring...not my engagement ring, thank God, but my Oura Ring, which is a pricy little biotracker. By the grace of God, they actually found it along with all the brass! Vince was kind enough mail it back to me! He was so kind and cool throughout our correspondences about the ring. I really appreciate his efforts. It was one of those gestures that really sets their customer service experience apart from others and, in a way, reminds you of the kindness of people. Thank you so much guys. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town!
