Wanted to purchase my first gun and didn't know what to expect or how difficult the process was. I always want to support Yucaipa local stores so I gave Jepson's a try. Sure glad I did! Customer service is excellent, customization is available with precision craftsmanship, and the staff made me feel right at home with all of my questions answered. Gun selection is very diverse but being a first time buyer, just needed to get my essential Springfield XD 9mm package which, thankfully, they had. Jared, the staff member who helped me, is a hard working gentleman that is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and helped customize my holster without any hiccups. Just be patient at the front entrance in case the staff might be in the back, which is gated to make sure this place is secure and safe. Really glad there's a local gun store so I wouldn't have to go far for supplies. Not sure if they administer FSC tests here but I didn't ask. Before I knew that they were located in town, I just went ahead a took my FSC test st Big 5 close by. I'll definitely be coming back for future firearms purchases. I used to be very hesitant since I wasn't too familiar with the gun world but now that I own my first gun and had a great experience with Jepson's, I'm happy to be a responsible gun owner and will soon get my wife to join in as well. I love everything about this business. All about helping people out, I've been there multiple times and have never seen them being rude or disrespectful to a customer like I have at some other stores. Used them for 2 services recently, first was I had bought a gun online from an ffl and had it shipped there. In San Diego the ffl to ffl transfer fee was reaching 250$ Jepsons charged 50 plus dros. Second service I used was getting my Glock stippled by Jared, told him I needed a fast turn around time and he got it to me way before I expected( 2 days I think). He even polished and cleaned all my internals for no extra charge. I couldn't recommend them enough. Stippling is on point and love my double undercut and how he trimmed my beaver tail on the gen 3. Great place to go for all your fire arms and fire arm needs. They offer price matching with most competitors including turners outdoors man. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. And if something isn't in stock they have no problem ordering it and calling you once it's in and available for you. Plus you get to support your community, and being from Yucaipa I love to support local businesses especially when I have an interest in said particular business. Will never go elsewhere for firearms especially when you go to an area of unknown and other places employees aren't as knowledgeable or friendly. I walked into this gun store and immediately felt like the people behind the counter were family friends that u haven't seen in awhile. Struck up a conversation, told them what I was looking for and got a good fair price. I went to this gun store hoping I could get something that other basic gun stores didn't carry. (M1garand) sure enough they had 1. They later said they try to help California residents get things they want and are willing to go the extra distance to make certain guns California compliant. the owner is the typical gun ass hole! we have been gun owners for over 100 years with dads , uncles, aunts, grandparents, and great grand parents! when i went in there to ask about some of the new calif laws on what we can buy here, the owner acted like we were bothering him! i have seen this attitude so many times with shop owners who feel being a dick makes them above cusyomers coming into their store. there is alot of money that comes into a place like this and leaves with out spending a dime because of poor customer service and lack of a education about sharing gun knowledge! read more
