So happy to see the community come together in this space. Events here are usually in the evenings or on weekends. Everything from crafting classes to book clubs to divorce support groups. I love the badass ladies dinners and tea events. It's about making those bucket-list things happen. Never tried boxing, ridden a Segway or been to _____? This club will make it happen, and you can do it with your girlfriends in tow. For the work-from-home crowd they offer drop-in coworking every other Friday. Bring your laptop and use the WiFi. Classes can cost from $20-40+ and after taking several, I can say they are definitely worth it. The SheHive is new, and changing rapidly based on demand for classes. Found a parking spot on the back side of the building (behind Subway) and had to walk around. For after hours workshops you have to ring a bell to be let in. The workshop leader was informative and friendly. Just enough information for a novice to begin their journey into podcasting. Would like to take a more technical workshop next that focuses on tools and actual technical aspects of podcasting. Hope they add something like that in the future. The course list they offer looks interesting and I can see myself coming back for more.

It is geared towards women and nonbinary individuals and created a safe and supportive environment for them to grow their dreams and aspirations in, but it is open to any and all who want to check it out! Anyone can have access to the main floor of BasBlue, where there is an INCREDIBLE cafe to get delicious drinks and food from. There is also a ton of seating for you to enjoy your food and drink and to cowork from as well. If you want to become a member, the upper floors are open to you with more collaborative and private spaces for you to enjoy! It is a non-profit organization and just a gloriously safe and intentionally-curated space to foster creativity and amazing vibes. I always feel so at peace and centered when I'm at BasBlue and love to take meetings from here as often as I can! It's located very close to the DIA, but only open during the weekdays. This is a very nicely renovated mansion turned into a woman's club. Like a late 1800's gentleman's club, only for women. There is a locker room/workout room/nursing area, but I did not see them because I am not a woman. They have lectures and groups within the club. They have a full kitchen, and the usual food on offer seemed like you would expect at a starbucks or better. They have drinks, coffee, and wine. The wine was higher end. And they use an ordering app so members at different rooms of the club can order easily. Lots of rooms. Dining and lecture rooms, lounge and club type rooms, conference rooms. A large event room. All really nice. There are smaller serving bars on the second and third floors. Depending on age, annual membership is 600 or 1200 dollars. It looked great. Maybe it could have used more restrooms, but that is sort of reaching for something negative to say.

Stole my money…read more Right before the Michigan Stay At Home Executive Order, I made a cash deposit to reserve the venue for my sister's baby's shower during early May. In April, Due to Covid19 and the shutdowns, I initially requested to reschedule or be given a refund of my deposit. I was told that I could reschedule. I was thinking I would gave to reschedule for the following week of maybe two weeks. That was fine except the executive order kept getting extended and Covid19 continued to get worse.. My sister didn't feel comfortable having a baby shower. So after requesting for a refund twice, I have not received any response. So I am here warning everyone to use caution when dealing with them. Im disappointed that this happened to me. It's not fair and like mentioned above, its unethical. The owner should have contacted me to cancel my reservation and offer a refund. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
