Their service differs from a CSA in that it is delivered (to your house) year round, you choose the schedule and size of your box and can change it anytime, and you have some say in what gets put in your box (up to three substitutions at this time). Oh, and the quality of the produce is guaranteed, so if you get a bad avocado or something just let them know and your account will be credited. How sweet is that?! To be honest, I just signed up this week and haven't gotten a box yet, but I'm sure I'll be updating soon about how awesome it is indeed.

Some of which are actual graduates of the 12 month employment training program Friendship runs for adults with disabilities to get placed in amazing work environments to support themselves and make (guess what) FRIENDS. The cafe makes coffee drinks, refreshers, teas and other beverages along with every baked good you can dream up. Muffins, cake pops, cookies, cakes, bagels, strudels and delicious loaves of bread. This place also caters any mealtime and touts being able to provide menus that can be: nut free, Kosher, gluten free and dairy free. Customization is key and what they're there for! The distinguished Head Pastry Chef, Tara Forosisky-Benito, puts all her passion into her baked goods and breads. She's worked on this particular sourdough starter perfecting its makeup for a little over 5 years! And to make sure that the kitchen is always performing at the highest quality and speed, she's always 20 steps ahead in terms of prep and early mornings. I got a peek inside the kitchen after I heard all about their nonprofit mission and you could see the creativity popping and the drive to support some of the fellow employees was apparent. Oh, did I mention there's an art studio space, too? As if they aren't doing enough, they host art and little workshops like the popular "Art and Baking" for kiddos in the Fall. This is one of (if not THE) best gluten-free bakery in Milwaukee. I've only ever done the pick up orders but I believe they do walk ins on Saturdays. Pick up orders are super easy. Menu comes out early in the week. You fill in a Google form with what you would like as well as your preferred Friday or Saturday pick up time and send it through. You pay online a few days later and then do your pick up. The menu changes every week so there are always new things to try. I've had the popovers, cookies, bread, calzones, pies, soups, and everything is gluten-free and everything is amazing! I also love that MOR partners with other local business like Anodyne and Tots on the Street. So great to see the awesome partnership. I'm back almost weekly and will continue!
