I ordered a $19 combo platter of spareribs and smoked chicken thighs with sides of BBQ rice and (for $2 more) hand cut fries. I upgraded to the corn bread muffin for a $1 extra (which they didn't bother including in the to go bag) and added three smoked wings to the combo platter for $5. I also got a $9 side of smoked gouda mac and cheese. My initial reaction when I opened the $27 combo platter container was "really, that's it"? Now, to be fair, the chicken was de-boned, so that took up less room, and I'll again mention they didn't give me the corn bread muffin I ordered so that would have taken up some space. Plus, the wings in the container were extra, so without those it would look even skimpier albeit slightly cheaper priced. All that said, the meats tasted good and had nice smoke flavor. I enjoyed their BBQ sauce, which I appreciate coming on the side for dipping. The rice was a little hard, but still edible. I thought the smoked gouda mac and cheese was great, but it's a tad pricey for a side item.

By the new library, mind you I've been absent for about a year and nine months so giving me directions to a new place that popped up less than a year ago it's not helping so I followed them down to Brown Deer Rd in the old section close to the electric power wires and the oak park bike trail across the street from the Audi dealership to the south side of Brown deer Road. They had a musician on a small stage located inside of a small container box previously used for shipping also re-purposed was the main bar area that had flip up windows all around it that was made with two storage containers stuck together the restrooms are basically a bunch of Porta potty's and conveniently placed throughout the whole area are Handwashing and hand sanitizing stations with probably the strongest alcohol levels I've ever had put on my hands without burning my skin off. Location has plenty of picnic tables lots of open space with access for bikers and community. Music and food rotate. so it's constantly changing. the service on Thursday night was perfect. So last year when Door to Door Organics first started delivering to the Milwaukee area I was so excited I could finally give them a try! Their service did not disappoint and Door to Door Organics has seriously been a time saver for me that I never even knew existed. It's an awesome way to have fresh, organic produce delivered directly to your door. But beyond that, they have a whole store's worth of organic groceries. Now, what I do is that I make a list of the meals I want to make during the week, and on top of my weekly produce box from Door to Door Organics I order all the other groceries I need. Then when it's delivery day I come home to my groceries waiting for me! No more spending hours at the store after an already busy day searching for things I need. To be honest, at first I was a little hesitant to try their service. I thought it would take something away from the 'experience' of grocery shopping (an errand I didn't exactly mind). However, after getting the groceries delivered, I was SO IMPRESSED with the quality of the ingredients and the huge selection they had, I completely changed my way of thinking. Now I don't know what I would do without my weekly grocery delivery. I saves me not only time, but also helps me eat healthier, because when I would shop in the store I would always end up with 100 things I didn't need, but now I can order a few fun snacks along with healthy ingredients to cook dinner with.
