Wish the pickup and drop off location was closer to most of the tour, it feels like a lot of wasted time to get on the bus and then drive downtown. The tour was great in and of itself. You learn a lot about Nashville. You even get to stop at the Country Music Hall of Fame to look around, use restrooms, and you can grab a drink with a redneck discount! What a surprise! Very G comedy! Great crowd! We were surprised about the stops in Gatlinburg! Ole Smokey s moonshine with a free tasting! You get about 40 minutes! Red and skitter was our host ! A couple of discounts and a stop at an overlook! The banter was amazing! It was a great time for my bride and I to sit and relax! The tour guide was very informative about renick culture. Tips for the road is bathrooms are at ole Smokey up three flights of stairs! They have concert seating! Also there are other things to do ! The over look is ok but not really spectacular! Be ready to take your soul to church after this bus ride! In Oct 2023, this bus ride was around $46.10 and the tour was around 2 hours long. The comedian was Buckshot and the driver was Gil. Jokes were a bit raunchier, but that was expected given the name of this tour. I think everyone could find something funny Buckshot said. He also gave a lot of advice that I thought would be helpful for out-of-town visitors. We had a short bathroom break at Ole Smoky Distillery, where we got to sample a pickle, try different kinds of moonshine, and do a little shopping. One small issue I had - seating is first come, first serve. I arrived early to get a window seat for pictures, which I initially got. However, after the bathroom break, a pair of ladies who weren't happy about being split up took my seat, telling me to sit with a guy who was alone in a group of three. That meant I lost my window seat and had to awkwardly lean over someone to snap photos. Otherwise, the tour was pretty funny, even with the raunchy humor. And now, thanks to my photo with Buckshot, I have a Christmas card ready to go! read more

I've taken this tour twice now and enjoyed it both times. The comedians are hilarious. They give a different approach to visiting Nashville. You never get bored. I am disgusted and disappointed with my experience on the Pigeon Forge Christmas Light Tour. The travel websites made it very unclear that it was a disgusting redneck bus. Both employees on the bus were not wearing face masks amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no requirement for customers, but most of us were. There was no limited capacity whatsoever. It is disgusting that a business would try to operate like the current pandemic does not exist. The tour itself was a ripoff. We only stopped at one set of Christmas lights, and just drove around town and look at the generic lights that you would see driving through anyway. The tour guide made fun of every passenger in the bus throughout the trip, which I did not find funny and made me rather uncomfortable. There were lots of inappropriate comments and drinks, and overall the two staff were super unprofessional and the driver was terrible. No seat belts and lots of sudden stops. It was just a nasty old school bus with spray paint on it. There were really no christmas lights to look at at all besides one stop. In 2 hours, one stop. Instead, the tour guide yelled homophobic jokes and fat jokes at people we passed by out the window. Then we made another stop at a musty bar and they gave out coupons. I understand that I should have done more research, but the staff should have gave me a warning upon check in that is was not appropriate for children. Not to mention the staff acting like COVID-19 does not exist. I recommend you stay as far away as possible from these bus tours. read more

I cannot rate this tour because it left without nine paying customers. We were told to meet at a restaurant and the bartender there told us to go in front a different store. No signage, no direction, nothing. There were other people also waiting there with us. I tried to call their number but it was only recorded messages. Thirty minutes after the tour began, we received a phone call from the company telling us that we missed it and that the bus waited for us 9 to show up. I took this tour many years ago and it was absolutely fantastic, unfortunately that's not the experience I had today. I raved to my family about how much fun this tour was and how funny the tour guides were but was horrified by their "humor" today. Next time we'll just fill up a plastic boot cup from wild horse saloon and call it a day. We brought sangwhiches and moon pies to share. I was super thankful for the potty pit stop at The Country Music Hall of Fame and we could reload our drinks there at the taco shop in to-go cups Georgette and JC were our guides and a lot of fun. I suggest going on the motor coach (sans toilet) with a buzz but don't be too far gone where you talk over the tour guide and ruin it for others. These guys are a lot of fun. Not only were they funny, but they really know their stuff so not only did we laugh a lot, we learned quite a bit about the history of the music industry in Nashville. I will caution though, they do say that these tours are family friendly, but I would not suggest bringing younger children, and possibly even tweens. They do encourage people to bring their own beverages (including alcoholic) and many of the jokes skirt the line of a sexual nature, maybe not overtly, but it might bring up questions, from your kids, that you are not yet ready to answer. So families with children might want to reconsider. But if this is not you, then you will have a lot of fun. read more

All was real laid back and the bar staff was friendly while we waited. It's vacation...we aren't punching a clock today, so not a problem for us. The bus isn't ideal for a sightseeing tour. You do see where the main spots are, and get some local info. Major bars pointed out and I'm sure they answered all FAQ. I agree with others that this is a good first day activity to help plan the rest of the stay.
