They advertise "2 months FREE rent," but that's not what you actually get. Instead of living rent-free for two months, they spread the concession across your lease, so you're still paying rent every month. That's a huge difference and should be made much clearer in their advertising. I wonder how they are making it easy for tenants who are moving in. They also promised a $1,000 gift card within 30 days of moving in, but it's been over 40 days plus and counting and there's still no gift card. I've had to follow up multiple times and I was told today but nothing still. It feels like they use attractive promotions to get people to sign a lease, then don't deliver as advertised or make you chase after what was promised. If you're considering moving here, make sure you get every concession explained fully and ask exactly how the "the 2 months free rent" is applied to get a clear picture cause it's actually discounts off your rent for equivalent of 2months. Played cat and mouse with this place for months. Above and beyond provided proof of income (over a year's worth of bank statements exceeding the minimum monthly income requirement threshold for each and every month) as requested as per the income requirements document shared with me, which I've attached along with contradictory correspondence from the leasing office. No refund on $300 application fee. Just wasted time and money. Be warned - They may hold you in suspense to try and let a bidding war on certain units play out. I also question whether or not the promised incentives to rapidly stuff all the rooms were even legitimate offerings or just false advertising. I was encouraged to re-apply and pay another $300. P.S. - You can get a house for what this place charges. I am glad we did not move in here as I'm sure the problems we faced are only the tip of the iceberg.

For future residents, don't toss your parking sticker--because apparently it's worth charging you for later, even though it's almost certainly never reused and feels wildly overpriced for what it actually is. There was also a carpet "damage" charge at move-out. The only documentation provided was a statement noting that the carpet had been replaced approximately five years prior and was due for an upgrade, which aligns with typical apartment carpet replacement cycles and normal wear-and-tear timelines. However, no evidence was provided showing that we were actually liable for "damage" beyond normal use or what the "damage" even was. Despite requesting clarification and proof multiple times, the charge was still insisted upon, and I was told the account would be sent to collections if it was not paid. After that, communication was cut off, which felt unprofessional given that I was trying to resolve the issue in a civil and respectful manner. Overall, while living there was fine, the move-out billing process felt unclear and inconsistent, especially regarding documentation and dispute resolution. I hope management improves transparency and communication so future residents have a clearer understanding of potential charges upfront.

I suspect if there are any, vaulted ceilings will be top floor apartments. Regardless, the advertising gives the perception vaulted ceilings are commonplace. The other night I tried the remote to go out and the garage door would not open! Goodness how trapped I felt but the team here could not have been nicer or more responsive!!! I contacted the emergency night staff and they said they could come right over to look at it. I simply told them it was late but first thing in the morning would still satisfy my need to 'escape' and get my car out. The very first thing the next morning a repairman was here to fix it. He told me the motor was not working and that he would have to escalate the situation to a replacement and not a repair. Before I realized a garage door specialist was at my place replacing the whole mechanism! I was 'set free' early enough that morning to make my appointment after a whole new system was installed. Kudos and much thanks to the whole staff here for their mutual concerns, rapid response and courtesy throughout the brief, but debilitating process!! Needless to say I recommend IMT Stoneleigh at Deerfield because of the top notch staff from top to bottom!

The areas where they keep the gas grills are not kept nice. The only noise problems I have had are the people they hire to do lawn maintenance loud talkers, the cars that don't have mufflers are loud and the people playing their music in their cars with their windows down are too loud. LOL I had a person in their parked car, playing music so loud the base was rattling my windows. Oh and the windows?? the seals are all broken and they have moisture and dirt between the double panes. I entered the leasing office, sat down quietly, and waited approximately 10-15 minutes without a single acknowledgment from the leasing staff. There was no greeting, no "I'll be with you shortly," no eye contact -- nothing. I completely understand if staff are busy assisting other residents or applicants, but basic professionalism and courtesy go a long way, especially when someone is considering signing a lease and making a property their home. The apartments may be competitively priced, but the experience left me feeling unwelcome and ignored. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this one removed the property from consideration for me entirely.
