Made the appointment online, and if you're coming from the mainland, make sure you put Hawaiian Standard Time when booking, or it will be the wrong time. After I landed, I drove out on the Pali, and there it was. A very non-pretentious location. Good size parking lot. Went in, Eli acknowledged, and when he was ready, he went to work. Kept it longer on top, short on the sides. Great conversation! They've been open a year and it's great to know there's a great barbershop on this side, since my parents are in Kaneohe. Why no vmail msg stating, one can only wonder? None-the-less, I needed to cut my hair badly! And so I figured that having a Barber cut my hair versus my hairstylist shouldn't be to out of the norms? This is my 1st time coming here, as my regular hair stylist who has been my go to place in Kaimuki for many long years, recently had a fall and injured herself badly, and is now out on temporary medical leave until further notice, so I hope? Take note that this morning is hopping bizzy (perhaps due to holiday's), as I called 8 :30 a.m. this morn. to see if I needed to schedule an appt. and the cordial gentleman who answered mentioned that I am more than welcomed to come in whenever it is convenient. Arrived about 8 :45 a.m. and was surprised to see all of their 3 chairs were filled with men, with 2 other males waiting inside seated, as well as 2 other, (again males) and myself waited outside on their bench seating, in which 1 who brought his young son to cut his hair. However, being that men haircuts are fast and with 3 staff members to service customers, my wait time was only about 15 mins. and about 15.mins to cut. In closing, I am pleased with the service, and haircut, as I had a young Vietnamese gentleman cut my hair and he was very quiet with no conversations other than speaking to his Vietnamese female associate in his native language. Hey and checkout their pricing, which I found to be fair/ reasonable.

I usually get a simple fade ( medium though sometimes it will be low or high ) and trim up front. I shower and go...sometimes I'll put product in my hair but usually just towel dry and out the door. Prices have gone up: $30 for a men's cut. Barbers are efficient and competent at every Great Clips that I've been to on Oahu. I had an online coupon...and it made it a bargain. If you want a simple cut and you're a dude...can't go wrong visiting a Great Clips location. First visit to this Kailua shop...only 2 hairdressers. Moderately busy for the early afternoon on a weekday. Small parking lot in the Hekili Business Center acroos from the Kailua Towne Center. Hours are 900a till 700p, Monday thru Saturday; Sundays they close an hour early at 600p.
