Made a quick lunch venture to The Relax Station with a postpartum friend during our lunch breaks and it was *chef's kiss. I love that this location is located near a less crowded mall entrance and has it's own storefront versus being in the middle of the mall walkways. We walked in and were greeted within a few minutes. She opted for the back massage and I did feet. We both felt amazing upon leaving! The service was great, prices were very reasonable, and it was a few minutes I was able to get to myself in my day. Contrary to some of the Google reviews, I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. I went with two other ladies (one adult and one 12-year-old), and we all booked the 60-minute table massage. The massage was definitely intense and true deep tissue; they absolutely knew what they were doing and were very skilled. I personally tend to prefer lighter pressure due to a low pain tolerance, so it was stronger than what I'm used to. For that reason, the three of us likely won't return. They offer pretty good back and neck massages in the Target wing of Memorial City. They charge about $12 for 10 minutes, $20 for 20 minutes, or $30 for 30 minutes. The quality of the massage can depend on who you end up with, how they were trained, and how many other massages they've done recently. They use what they call an "acupressure" style, which involves a lot of pressure using their forearms and elbows on pressure points in your back rather than use of their hands. In the right spots, it can be very helpful, but I've found that finger pressure works better overall regardless of what point on your body you are getting taken care of. Still, it's good for getting the kinks out when you need that done. The girl over there is solid, and she spends a good amount of time working on the neck, which is generally where I need the most work done. The guys are different, and sometimes I can't remember who is who based on the massages. I get the impression that they work hard with little rest, because they can be found about 100 feet away from the booth sleeping in a rest area whenever they're on break. read more

They lady was soooo rough with me. I got a chair message. They used vaseline for lubrication... LOL. I should have stopped them right then and there. I usually come here on a weekend to get a massage -- they are quick, efficient and inexpensive. Is this a full on body massage? no. This is a back massage, focusing on shoulders and back. I've been here several times and the ONLY time I had an issue is when the guy used WAY too much pressure on my lower back, leaving it very sore for 3 days. But overall, its a good value -- a 20 minute massage is $20 and they take credit cards. My one minor concern is that there seems to be a communications gap (language barrier if you will) -- even if you say OW, they just continue on like a machine. *shrug* All I know is that DO walk taller and with less muscle issues in my neck than if I try to massage it myself. CROOKS! I came here with my boyfriend and his mother. Upon walking in, we spoke to the young woman and we negotiated the 30 min foot massage with bath for $32. During our session, my boyfriend's mother had mentioned that she and myself were celebrating birthdays and the young lady then said she would reduce the price an ADDITIONAL $3, making the price $29. After the session, the young lady cashed out the price of $32, so we mentioned that you offered an additional discount. While speaking to her, she was very rude and kept cutting off my boyfriend's mother while she was speaking. My boyfriend's mother paid in cash and the young lady said she couldn't provide a receipt because cash was used. Visited the mall today & their staff approached me for a massage. I politely sad no and shook my head. He came closer to me & my son & I politely ask him to give us 6 ft. I wasn't interest. He stepped about 6 in from my son & put his face in his face. My son froze because he was u comfortable. the guy then had the nerve to reached out to touch him on the shoulder. I got angry & told him to back up & leave us alone. In a COVID world you do not get in someone's face or touch them! He still didn't back up. He kept getting closer! No regard for others or others safety! Unacceptable. No means no. And respect other 6 ft boundaries especially when they ask you to back up! They should be shut down! read more

I would not call what the woman gave me a massage - more like barely there fake touching...she hated doing it--i could feel her feeling of unbearable boredom in what she was doing. Not impressed at all. My wife and I paid for the complete foot massage with medicinal foot bath and they didn't even do the bath part. The employees had no idea how to speak English so the communication was horrible. I feel like I literally wasted $50. At least put these guys through some type of training. I just had a 45 minute table massage and I feel absolutely amazing! The technician found every sore spot or tight muscle, worked them it out and gave me a thorough stretching.
