I've been a customer here for over four years, and the massage quality and technique are consistently great. My concern isn't the service, it's the tipping expectation. On my last three visits, different therapists directly asked me for a tip before finalizing the checkout, which made me uncomfortable. Due to tighter finances, I chose not to tip, not out of disrespect, but to observe how this would be handled. I believe tips should be optional and never expected. If tipping expectations are becoming an issue, management needs to consider other operations and/or coaching opportunities instead of putting that pressure on clients. Great massages overall, I just hope the tipping culture get addressed. read more

The massage was great. It really knocked out all of the tension I was feeling. Tina provided my services. Although her English is not great she was able to place emphasis on my areas of concern. My only drawback is not having robes when you undress and waiting on the table. Tip etiquette. Once I was complete I provided a tip but it was not enough for her. She recommended I give a $10 tip and proceeded to pull out other people's receipt to show me their tip. I politely said I am planning to be a repeat customer and you Should not tell a person how much to tip. read more

Good, clean services. We came in to get a combo body which includes, 30 min foot reflexology and 30 min body massage... The foot part was cool, even though I didn't get it at first. Dipped my foot in some kind of hot water for about 15 minutes which was decent. 30 minutes later I had a full body massage with hot stones. I enjoyed it, I did. I caught myself falling into a sleep a few times from the soothing music and atmosphere... I feel like jelly now! Thanks for the massage today! I'll be back soon... read more

I come at least one a month. The combo massage is worth more than the $35 they charge for a one hour massage. It feels like a massage at Massage Envy but with out all the hassle of paperwork and have to pay $60-80. Always call ahead as they're usually busy. I've tried every masseuse and they are all good. I wish I could put no stars for this horrible place. I arrived at 5:30 (mind you they close at 9 PM) I was told to be quiet upon just simply walking in, they had a 16 year girl up front saying that she is not customer service but was there working with her Aunt(totally sounds shady here). Next when I asked what did I want they told me no we are too busy you will have to come back, after asking when? They went on to say that it would be tomorrow and that they are too busy. Next I went to say you are a walk in facility but you are too busy and there are only 2 cars in the parking lot. When asked again the time the told me to come back at 9PM and the sign says they close. At this point I felt that they were just telling me anything to get rid of me. The young girl went behind the desk to get on her cell phone to text. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!! Do yourself a favor keep driving to Bellaire area if you want a great service. SOUL INN REFLEXOLOGY is just as good . Silly me for trying a place just because the reviews were good. This is my go to place for a quick fix. Yes they answer the phone or talk to each other loud sometimes, however they quickly chat and then get back to it. I normally do the $35 foot/body massage and it does the trick as opposed to paying $50+ tip elsewhere. First part, they lay in you the chair and massage your neck, arms and feet. Second part you go into a room and take off your clothes and they massage your back. They always get out all of my knots and say completely professional. I really enjoy this massage place and the price is just right! read more

I've come here a several times and they always do a great job. I typically get the 30min foot and 30min body massage. You start out in the back on a...i guess reclined chair...where they massage your head, shoulders and feet for 30mins. You're then asked to go to the massage room where you disrobe and are massaged for the remainder of the 30mins which includes back, arms, and butt. I've been to couple of the ladies everyone does a great job but only remember tina' s name. I believe she's the owner. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service, decor, aura and massage skills at this place. We went to have couples massages and i left here feeling so relaxed and happy. TIna did my full body massage and she knocked every ounce of tension out of my body. i was in a quiet dark room and light music was playing. she used all of strength from her hands to her elbows and spent a full hour getting me together. I will be going back! And the price was satisfying. $50 for a full hour. I am assuming it would be $25 for half an hour. I totally recommend this place read more

After reading the reviews of others I thought $35 was definitely worth a try. This FAR exceeded my expectations. I literally almost started crying when I felt the pain leaving my body. There were places on me I didn't know were sore until he massaged it out. It was the PERFECT amount of firm pressure combined with a relaxing touch. If you get the combo foot and back be prepared to start in the main room for a little neck work and then your feet. When that's done you will go to a private room where you can remove your clothing for your back massage. He even massaged my hips ( didn't know they were sore, but they were!) and the entire shoulder cuff/arm pit area. I've never had that done on a massage before and omg it was amazing! I kept thinking, please don't let this be almost over! And just when I thought it had to be, he finished with the hot stones. That heat seemed to do something insanely incredible to my already relaxed muscles. I'm already scheming on how I can justify to my hubby another massage this week. read more

This place is completely unprofessional, shady, and they cannot give a strong deep tissue massage! Breakdown of my experiences: When first arriving, an old bearded white man was sitting at the front desk. I don't think he worked there but was likely one of their "clients" which was very weird. He didn't speak to us but eventually we were greeted by one of the massagers. The 2 ladies who massaged my friend and I were nice enough but the lady who massaged me didn't apply enough pressure and actually could not apply the desired pressure and didn't listen to what I needed. The lady massaging my friend literally was one and off of her cellphone throughout the massage! We heard her asking if "he and his friends all wanted massages." This made us uneasy and of course we started getting the idea that they did more than "just massages" for their "clients" since they were calling the massagers personal cells. Also, the atmosphere is dingy and the massage definitely didn't last an hour. At the end I wanted to give her a $3 tip and she charged a $5 tip! Do yourself a favor and go to a more reputable Asian massage place that is more professional and attentive. read more

I frequent this business regularly. They are always professional and offer a great service for at least 30% less than most others. Yes sometimes they get busy and make people wait or come back. It has happened to me. they are worth waiting for. True they don't give you slippers to put on and have smoke blowing in the air or spray your pillow, what they do is give a great, great massage at a very, very reasonable price. Would not honor the gift card that I bought in September 2016. I was able to use portion of it in November. They claimed it was no longer valid since this was 2017. There is no expiration date and Texas State Law dictates that paid amount never expires and must be honored. Massage was mediocre at best. read more

Although the couple times I've went and had amazing massages, the customer service sucks! They have no manners and no matter what time you go they apparently never have appointments while there are no customers inside or in the parking lot. I've been trying to get a 90 minute foot massage for the last 3 weeks and they always are booked but never offer to accommodate you! I don't know if they are lazy, or just lying! This is ridiculous, the only reason I go to this one is because initially it had good reviews and its right down the street from me! But this is just outrageous! Amazing. So relaxing and very reasonable. Tina was the masseuse and I got 30 minutes foot and 30 minutes body massage. And it was perfection. Not ultra fancy decor (but not bad...just if you're a customer to some posh salons where you're paying for their interior decorator, maybe you'd notice) but that doesn't matter to me. Most important it is very neat and clean, sanitary and relaxing with impeccable service. That's what counts to me! I shall return for sure. And you should go if you're in the area. I love this place. Unlike some other places the people that work here actually have some sort of technique when massaging you. I always get the $35 massage which is a 30 minute foot massage and then a 30 minute back massage. The only reason I took one star off is because sometimes the women start chatting to each other. I loved the massage I received from Tina! It was slow so I could hear the other person working there talking and such and the phone was loud, but next time I go, I'll either play my own music with my headphones in or I'll ask her to turn the music up. I got the combination massage 30 mins foot + 30 mins body. The foot massage part was ok, but the body massage part was AMAZING!!! She really knew how to work out my knots and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. Her technique was amazing and very professional.
