We purchased a new Chesmar home 3 years ago. The construction team treated our driveway and garage…read morefloor very carelessly during building and left all of the concrete covered in stains that couldn't be removed by cleaning or power washing. Chesmar said they'd make this right for us and did complete a driveway resurfacing (which is basically a thin application of mortar over the concrete). This helped hide the stains for about a year. Unfortunately, the resurface layer seems to have been poorly done -water is constantly trapped underneath it and the surface has been progressively crumbling apart. Now we're searching for competent contractors to fix an expensive mess that we never should've had to deal with in the first place. We've tried reaching out to Chesmar for a reasonable solution without success. Calls and emails are ignored, and it seems like we'll be left holding the bag to repair Chesmar's poor work. For others considering a major home investment, beware of what you might be facing with this builder.

I would never in my life recommend this homebuilder to anyone I've always had custom build homes and they've always been billed to satisfaction I have built seven different homes and this by far is the worst home that I have never built I bought it on the new construction and they did absolutely nothing that they guarantee they would do in terms of my Flooring in foyer and kitchen. They did a makeshift job so that I could get in the house which they forced me into a fast closing, which was very unfair and I've just been unhappy every since. I've been asking for my floors to get fixed and no one has come out to do anything nor have I received any calls from a request I put in three months ago. I have since put another request in today and I suspect that they will see this review and they will try to make it right m, because my publicity is not good of this builder! I just want to let people know that if you are considering a purchase with this builder consider twice make sure you do your research and not let them research for you and get you bamboozled do your homework and don't buy fast with them you will be sorely disappointed like I am! They sell themselves as a top notch building company with 3 tiers of services which you could get better from your local handyman.
