When we renewed the lease, it would've been cheaper to move into a different apartment on location than renew because of increase. However, we did call and they worked with us a little bit. Sometimes there are charges on our account that are mysterious so make sure to pay attention and really look over your rent before you pay it.

The gym is state of the art with every piece of equipment you could imagine. The amenities here are second to none. The rent is unbelievably cheap compared to places nearby. I also like that it is really quite here and there doesn't seem to be a bunch of partying going on. The leasing staff is super friendly and they always remember my name which is nice. I have mold samples sending out to a lab this week. Will report this complex to health department and follow suit if it comes back positive.

Spin bikes and basketball court are great. Tennis court is well lit. I don't have a dog, but the park is close to our apartment. Pet owners seem to be responsible and the dog park well maintained. Very family friendly apartment complex. We have been pleased to see so many families out and about in the common areas. *Quick note, our apartment is the Juniper Floorplan (2bed/2bath). We are facing the back of the building. I did notice that the back units don't have the window over the balcony door, and there are no glass shelves built into our dining room wall like you see in the virtual walkthrough. There is also no outlet on the patio, which I wish we would have noticed before moving in. We will have to remove our outside light and put a power adapter in to have outdoor electricity.* I will update in the future as we get a better feel for the community, office staff, apartment, and maintenance.

I won't even start to mention the outrageous trash valet/additional cost for removal fees. There are a couple of pros including the Uptown views and the exposed ductwork at least. I understand that this is an old building and things break but the management has to be better with taking care of the building and alerting residence when these problems occur. We pay a premium to live in Uptown, but the value and service is just not in line with any other neighboring apartment complex.

I can only say I am surprised by some reviews, but if you are looking for an apartment for a limited period, or extended, call them. Just a few things I will highlight: Rooftop Pool, Saturday morning brunches for residents only, from Reid's, Krispie Kreme, The Flying Biscuit and others, including some amazing coffee food trucks. Again, worth considering if you're in the apartment search!

As so often happens, it was for the best. This disgusting germ spreading pest removed any doubts about leaving if the other situations hadn't. I've always been told with respect to cockroaches/roaches, if you see one there are more that you aren't seeing. I was just comfortable with knowing what to expect here (and moving is a pain), but that's not a good enough reason to stay given how I've been treated, and I'm ignoring how I was treated my previous residency here. In any event, finally saw it last night crawling across my bathroom wall & smashed it with my broom. The Zevo I'd nearly emptied on it didn't work...at all. Unfortunately, I can't give this community more than 2 stars because of my experiences of late and an ongoing one where it was implied I was the cause of the trash vendor's behavior. I'd posted a review to Apartments.com using their job role not names, but it was rejected. So much for that site's impartiality.

Maxwell goes above and beyond and deserves a raise if he hasn't gotten one already. He was so attentive and kind the entire time my child and I lived there. He always responds quickly and makes sure you are happy as a resident. Ground Keeping - Stacy was also amazing! He too was attentive and always made sure you were comfortable and lacking nothing. The turnaround time for maintenance requests was so fast! (Also deserves a raise!) The woman who kept the insides of the building/lobby (so sorry I can't believe I'm not remembering her name) is one of the kindest women I have met. We always had a quick chat and was so pleasant. I observed her at times when cleaning and she was always thorough and never took short cuts! She too deserves a raise! I mention these three particularly because they made my time there feel valued and safe. I never had to worry. The rest of the team always had a smile, was kind and helpful as well!
