Todos Santos is a gem and a great, up and coming alternative to the touristy nature of Cabo. Hotel San Cristobal is a perfect boutique getaway for a more authentic experience in Mexico. I understand it could happen, but it was on both beddings. We went to fix it at night and the night manager couldn't help us. We managed to fall asleep and due to the current predicament (COVID), we are in healthcare, and how everything happened, we decide to check out promptly in the morning and find a safer place to stay. We talked to the morning manager who still wasn't helpful. He told us we had to go through booking.com - even though we had paid in full upon arrive. Even with the conditions of the room, we got no flexibility in cancelling. Honestly we were so upset, we checked out and just wanted to get a fresh start for our vacation. Unfortunately we lost a lot of money and vacation time on this hotel. It wasn't safe (health wise) nor clean. I trust travel reviews and I'm upset this happened. They will cook your catch for you or prepare it for Smokey's smokehouse where they will smoke or flash freeze and vacuum seal your dorado, tuna, etc. We fished up and down the Baja until we found Los Pescadores. We were also offered a complementary popsicle and I opted for the margarita one which was delicious. Once we checked in, we opted for their upgrade which I believe is called Altamar, which means high ocean and for an extra $150/day we get a top suite right in the center and it includes breakfast buffets, daily mini bar refill, and a few other discounts for massages. Our room was literally right under the Hilton sign on the sixth floor. We had a great view of the whole property from our balcony. It's worth it because the buffet is around $40/person. The property is very nice and well maintained. They have a hot tub, infinity hot tub, an adult infinity pool, and a massive pool right in the center. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great. Everything was really good and it tasted authentic. I opted for the Cook to order omelettes or eggs and chilaquiles. The avocado toast was amazing. They have a Rotating item where a cook prepares it for you on the spot. You must get the nachos by the pool. They're great for two people and they were so good. They have a total of three restaurants which we ate at two of them because we really enjoyed the Italian, called Velas. They had live music the nights we went. We also went to Lena on taco Tuesday, which was their Tacos and Margarita Night. The beach is beautiful, very walkable. There is a lifeguard on duty. Beautiful sunsets. All the employees were always working, they were very helpful, and attentive. It was a very relaxing day.
