I also opted for their "must try" pumpkin pancakes. These were also good but tasted more nutmeggy to me than pumpkin, but I still enjoyed them. The other two people in my party had the Popeye Omelet with raspberry crepes and meat lovers omelette with biscuits and gravy. Both were very happy with their selections. This is probably going to be my new breakfast spot, it's worth the 20 minute drive.

The meat was very tender, flavorful, and properly seasoned, with the cheese, onions, peppers, and other toppings worked throughout instead of just piled on top. My Delaware had a great balance of savory beef, melty cheese, mushrooms, peppers, and that extra zip from the added cherry peppers. The bread was a true unsung hero; soft and pillowy inside with a light toast on the exterior, giving it enough structure to hold everything together without getting soggy. Nice. We talked to the person there and found it was run by his family, and they do an exceptional job. My wife had the Liberty Cheesesteak with added onions while I had a combo Italian Beef/Italian Sausage sandwich - dipped with added onion, hot pepper and cheese. We also had a side of fries. Both sandwiches were big, which you would expect. The Philly had finely chopped steak with the peppers, onions and cheese all mixed in. My wife said it was fantastic. My combo was incredible. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was clearly not sitting all day in the au-jus (which when talking to the owner afterwards he confirmed was the case). You can always tell this because the meat had a nice texture and was not overly salty, but instead as I stated seasoned and cooked perfectly. Additionally, the fries were well cooked, crisp and hot. They take care to keep the oil fresh and clean, so the fries taste like fries instead of old dirty oil. As an added bonus he even treated my pup to a small dish of ice cream which she enjoyed on a hot day. Fortunately, we showed up a little after the lunch rush and was able to spend a few minutes talking about the business and baseball and our combined hate of the dreaded Dodgers.
