I've always seen the long queues at Puccino's in the morning commute rush hour, but it took a rainy Saturday for me to finally try it out. The barista was impressively fast and efficient at taking orders and payment from multiple customers to make sure no one missed their train. My coffee was hot and tasty and my wife got a delicious spiced chai latte. Better still, the cups have fun and humorous little sayings on them. Mine equated me drinking my coffee to Godzilla destroying a city. Lol.

Matt has outfitted an old van and operates as a mobile cart selling what was, IMHO, his coffee was the closest thing to a Seattle latte (where I live) that I came across in Europe. I don't believe that his stand is open all days at the Royal Victoria docks, but if he is there (and you will know he is because he has great on-site marketing), it would certainly be a worthwhile investment to stop by and grab a cuppa joe. Way better than any other options in the area, at least that we were able to discover.

Because Cafe Rouge offers decent food - I've never had a bad meal at the many branches I've been to - as well as a relaxed atmosphere and good service overall at a fair price range. This particular branch is on a corner, which seems to have the effect of making it one of the larger Cafe Rouges I've been in. Even when it's busy it never feels too claustrophobic and the lighting and ambience is usually pleasing. Everything I've ever tried has tasted good, even (and especially) the chicken and steak baguettes as well as the tartes. I'm quite happy to count Cafe Rouge as one of my local restaurants and I'll gladly be going there on a regular basis for some time to come. Mais oui!
