Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.

The hot peppers and pickles are optional at $0.10 each. I think that it could have used more banana peppers but that's just me. Seating is diverse. My parents ended up going to Hot Mess that same day, and my dad said he liked the chorizo burger (although he said it wasn't very spicy), and my mom had the pulled pork sandwich, which she said you could really taste that it had been smoked (not just bbq sauce). The food here is a bit of a mess, even my noodle salad was messy. The food is pretty varied, but what I had was good and I wouldn't hesitate to try something else from Hot Mess again.
