This place has it all ambience, good vibes, amazing atmosphere, and even more amazing food and drinks. Staff are all friendly and professional and very attentive. Thanks to the owner, who btw came in for lunch and enjoyed a meal and drinks. So you know it must be that good!

After dinner nearby we stopped here for a drink. We knew we wanted to enjoy the open air rooftop but when we walked in we had to figure out on our own where to go. Not a single person acknowledged us and there was literally only one customer seated. As we walked around we noticed on a back wall the sign for rooftop this way and so we followed it. Once upstairs, we sat at the bar and had prompt and friendly service. We had a tequila lemon drop and tried the Margarita martini which was supposed to be spicy, but was not at all. The space was nicely decorated and the dj brought the vibes. We didn't have food because we just ate but I would return to try something on the menu. 7/10

If you love tequila & yummy food options with something for everyone, then you'll love Sunrise! It's just a couple blocks from the beach in Margate, NJ & it is the new hot spot at the Jersey shore. The decor is modern & lounge like with 2 floors. The upstairs is giving rooftop vibes with windows that open all throughout & dj's on certain evenings. Service is prompt despite how busy it can get. Definitely make a reservation if you want to sit upstairs. They even offer bottle service on their couches & have a bottle shop downstairs. For food, I've had the truffle fries, street nachos, lobster quesadillas, & wagyu beef sliders & everything was so fresh & delicious! Cocktails are all delicious & there are so many to choose from. We were even surprised to see the huge selection of tequilas that you can order neat or rimmed, however you wish! The only downside about this place is trying to find a parking spot, but that's life down the shore.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and everything was great...server was very nice, food was delicious, and enjoyed the vibe. We sat upstairs at a high top table (not too high) and it was so bright and airy...lots of windows which were open since it was a nice day. They have a large bar area upstairs and had live music but even with that it wasn't too loud. The downstairs area looks really nice too. They have an elevator for those who can't take the steps. If you go before 2pm you can order from the brunch menu as well as the regular menu which provides a lot of options. I liked how the gluten free items were marked on the menu and that there were more options than just salad! The GF elote pizza was amazing and the crust was so good I had to check to make sure it really was GF lol!

Had a lovely low key morning on the beach and had sudden urge for a really good martini and something light for lunch (there's only so many hoagies and seltzers a person can take lol) I'm so happy I found this spot! Martini was PERFECTLY made. Went for the salmon ceviche (although it was a tough choice because there were tons of delicious options on the menu). Ceviche was fresh, chips were perfectly toasted. It was EXACTLY what I was craving. The decor of the place is stunning! Kudos to whoever designed this spot. Absolutely gorgeous. Bartender was friendly + attentive and staff in general was really on point. It was my first time visiting and I absolutely will be back. I came in right before happy hour (3-6) but it looked like there were some good options being offered on that menu so I plan on going back to check out a few more things.

The food, service, and ambiance are on par. Love the pizzas and watermelon margaritas.

Food went downhill. Service is slow and servers are rude. Rooftop is not comfortable - too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer.

I had my chance for a birthday celebration that we had made dinner reservations for the week before. DINNER WAS PHENOMENAL!!! We each got a different dish, and each and every one was delicious and devoured (some wusses couldn't finish theirs, lol)! I'll just review mine, but please look at the menu. Everything is made fresh (including desserts) by the cook and baker, JOHNNY. Whaaaat?! (He stopped by our table and we chatted - super nice guy and my God the talent in those Italian hands)! My Chicken Piccata was really, really good - tender, and not too many capers; with just the right amount of "sauce." It came with two spears of asparaus, that were very good as well. When I tell you that I cleaned my plate, I cleaned my plate! Some ordered desserts and they were all exceptional! I'm usually "Team Chocolate," but was in the mood for cheesecake. DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, was it other world yummy! (No BS Cheesecake Factory here!). Creamy, yet dense, and it was a really nice portion! Our server, Nick, was great and attentive - a genuine guy too, which is always appreciated. Our sweet men tipped him very well! He made sure that the "birthday boy" had a candle in his slice of blueberry pie. Another delicious dessert - wow! Between the food, LOOCH, the modern decor (beautiful white circular leather seated booths for the most part) and the atmosphere itself, you can't miss here! Johnny's is classy, delicious and fun. I highly, HIGHLY reccommond dining here. (Pro tip - take a cardigan because it can get cold).

Eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast for me; steak and eggs for my husband, which he said was very tasty. Food was very good, everything arrived hot on our plates. Our waitress was very attentive. Cost was reasonable considering we were down the shore. Ambiance was wonderful, even though we were there for breakfast. I can imagine lunch and dinner time, it would be as well. Menu was very detailed and expansive enough for anyone dining there. Pricing was acceptable, considering one is at a shore location. Definitely will hit up Johnny's for lunch or dinner next time we are in Margate.

While I was told told by other bouncers I was not getting my ID back I had no choice but to go to the local police that was across the street and get it back and like the good boy he's supposed to be he gave them my ID, police checked it to see if it was real which it was and I had gotten it back.. I will never come here again not worth any money spent here don't ever come here your better off going to any other place around the area then memories the drinks r highway robbery the admission was also highway robbery just for people to be stinking and very aggressive people to be attending this so called "club" or whatever it is. Does not live up to the hype AT ALL. The big fat bouncer is a power tripper and doesn't need to be working as bouncer if he doesn't take the proper precautions and not use the proper tools and equipment given to him for ID CHECKING then he's better off working as a valley parking guy. The food here is also very disgusting and not fresh and I heard people had gotten sick from there not worth anything there.

We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. I opted for the banana cream pie, as this is another item I rarely see on a menu and when I do, it's rarely done right, but not here... they did it perfectly! Overall, amazing meal... I love that they're BYOB and you'll have a view of the pool and the ocean from a distance. Service was outstanding. It was perfectly timed and so personable. They provide complimentary bread with a delicious olive oil topped with crushed red pepper. To start, we split the Caesar salad and this was one of the best we've had in a while! It was cheesy and had the right amount of dressing without being too overpowering. They added olives and freshly made croutons that gave it some extra texture that I enjoyed. For my entree, I had the milk fed veal chop served Milanese style which was nice and light exactly how the server described it. It's like a caprese salad on top of a battered and crisp bone in chop. The balsamic was so tasty and they put a very generous amount of mozzarella on top. This was 17 ounces so I couldn't finish half of it but it still tasted great leftover. The star of the evening was the chef's specialty dish: the Pork Chop Agro Dolce. It's a center cut bone in pork chop topped with carmelized onions, a hot cherry pepper & capers in a sweet & slightly sour sauce over a candied sweet potato which tasted just as amazing as it sounds and looks!! I was dipping my veal chop into this sauce because it was absolutely incredible!! I don't think I've ever had a better pork chop in my life. It really puts others to shame. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit here to try some pastas and seafood. They also had special items that I'm super curious about!
