There is always so many people here, bumping into each other, and fighting over parking, so it is a bit overstimulating. But it is worth it as it is definitely one of the BEST places that host art festivals/fairs at least a dozen or so times a year. Support local and keep up the good work! My only suggestion is to avoid parking nearby and just walk to 78th Street Studios until they respray the parking lot lines and fill in some of the potholes...

The 78th Street Studios is a huge arts studio that also has a theatre on the 2nd floor called the Blank Canvas Theatre. I visited for the first time probably in 2018 or 2019 then I came in 2023 and so on. I've attended their 3rd Fridays art event plus some plays at the Blank Canvas Theatre. It's always nice walking around 78th street studios. It can get a little overwhelming because the building is so big and you may get lost but just follow the signs posted on the walls to find out where you're going. I'll certainly be back. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 129/250 total reviews in 2026 - 970 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 June 2026

The owner, Hilary Gent, provides contemporary space for emerging and professional artists to exhibit their work. Visiting HEDGE is a true experience. It's large, modern space beautifully curated by Hilary's thoughtful eye. Hilary consistently has new, groundbreaking exhibits, which will challenge you to think about art. Even if you think you "don't know about art," HEDGE's inclusiveness and friendly atmosphere will make you feel at home. For art collectors with more eclectic taste, HEDGE is your mecca. Hilary's curation brings in everything from lighting fixtures to acrylic paintings, drawings, textiles, and photography at affordable varying price ranges. I'm looking forward to seeing her current exhibition, THREADED, a textile art collection by three women artists. Hilary herself is also a brilliant artist, so take the time to observe her stuff! She's also a well-known event planner known for her chic, tasteful weddings within this space. If I ever get married, Hilary will be the first person I call. During the next Third Friday (when 78th Street Studios is open to the general public), head to Hilary's gallery for a great social hour, a glass of wine, and to meet other supremely interesting people. Her dog, Jack, will be waiting to greet you!

I've been to the Roxy/Mahalls many times, and it's usually a great place to see a show…read more Unfortunately, my most recent visit for the Secondhand Serenade concert left me feeling unsafe in a way I've never experienced there before. Since the Roxy and Mahall's are connected and jointly owned, I want to be clear that this experience reflects on both venues. While my friends and I were trying to find a place to stand, one of my friends was confronted by a couple who were upset that someone was standing in front of them. Instead of simply expressing frustration, they escalated the situation by "transvestigating" her--accusing her (a cisgender woman) of being transgender--and making several derogatory, bigoted comments. It was completely inappropriate and deeply unsettling. Because I've always viewed the Roxy and Mahall's as safe and inclusive spaces, I immediately went to security. Both I and another person explained what happened, but the only response we received was that they would "keep an eye on the person." Knowing that someone was allowed to behave this way without being removed made me feel anxious and unsafe, especially as a transgender person myself. I'm cis‑passing and was fortunate not to be clocked, but the entire situation shook my sense of trust in venues I've always felt comfortable in. I truly hope the Roxy and Mahall's take incidents like this more seriously moving forward. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected at shows, and bigoted harassment should never be tolerated.

I sort of stumbled my way here because I had forgotten about this factory but my friend Christina happened to be visiting on a Saturday afternoon and she asked if I wanted to come along so off I went. SERVICE -- I didn't see much guidance so you'll be on your own as you navigate your way around which can be overwhelming so keep that in mind. Also, the parking lot is very large so it may take you some time of driving around before you even find a spot. WINTER HOLIDAY MARKET -- I arrived for their winter holiday market. There were probably over 100 vendors (small businesses) inside the factory selling all sorts of items from candles, to artwork, pottery, t-shirts, etc. I also noticed a small section of food vendors. There is so much to see here that I suggest not coming in on an empty stomach. I hadn't eaten lunch when I arrived and I was starving so I left after 30 mins while my friend Christina left before me because of the large amount of people around. This factory is similar to 78th street studios but the Screw factory is much larger. I recommending visiting the Screw factory if you love exploring different artists. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 4/150 total reviews in 2024 - 654 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 February 2024

Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. I highly recommend when you're looking for a special place. Looking forward to coming back. PS: please donate to https://www.awakeningangels.org !

We had a table by the window in the bar area with a gorgeous view of the lake, which made for such a nice atmosphere. We started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with chili-maple aioli, red onions, no almonds due to my husband's allergy, and mint, along with the Cauliflower Wings served with house buffalo sauce and ranch. Both appetizers were flavorful and a great start to the meal. I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with sweet chili glaze, wasabi mashed potatoes, and Szechuan broccoli salad, and really enjoyed the combination of flavors. My husband ordered the Chicken Grana Padano with crispy chicken cutlet, Sunday gravy, truffle sacchetti, and a lemon-arugula salad with grana and sun-dried tomatoes, which he really enjoyed. My younger son ordered the 6 oz filet mignon, while my oldest son went with the Gold Coast Burger topped with aged cheddar, peppered dry-aged bacon, crunchy malt vinegar aioli, lettuce, and Kool-Aid pickles, served with housemade fries. We were intrigued by the Kool-Aid pickles and were told they're actually marinated in Kool-Aid. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Creme Brulee, which were both delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. Unfortunately, my son and I both ended up with stomachaches not too long after leaving, which put a bit of a damper on the experience and why I am giving this a 4-star review. That said, the atmosphere and location were wonderful, and I'd still like to come back sometime during happy hour because their happy hour menu and pricing looked really good.
