5 stars for the staff....2 for the maintenance issues…read more I absolutely love going to this theatre...the staff are almost entirely wonderful. It's just that they don't seem to have the budget they need for maintenance. The seats are pretty old and hard. Emergency exit doors aren't properly sealed in multiple theatres...so if you see something when it's still light out you'll be distracted by the bright light coming in the door. Some of the theatres have weird things going on with the lights too....some flicker/strobe during a movie, which is very distracting at best and possibly seizure inducing at worst. The oven thing they use to heat the snack foods needs some work too...sometimes it only heats part of what goes in it and leaves the rest very cold. The key thing I have to remind myself about is the HVAC system....if it's hot outside, bring a sweater. If it's cold outside, wear layers that you can remove.

He says the girls in the back have drinks. Fair enough I got out and threw them out while he was running his flapper non stop like an elderly lady not getting her way. Keep in mind these cups were as empty as this dudes head. He says, we live and die off concessions, which I think he meant to say we live or die off concessions. Fair enough I was getting concessions anyways Karen. Hes still running his mouth saying he "arrduh" make us leave. I'm ignoring him at this point like a spam call to the cell phone. Im in the truck easing off and treading lightly and find a parking spot. This maniac charges us as soon as we park and starts making an emotionally unintelligent scene you'd think you'd see only in a Hollywood film. He yells dont come back you're not welcome back, but doesnt kick us out. I said may I ask what for and he just stomps off like a child in trouble. Secondly if you do go in for concessions, his sister/wife is just as rude. She'll tap the counter and stare you down while your looking at the menu. She'll roll her eyes if you ask questions about things on the menu. Shell question your integrity with no evidence, just assumption. They expect you to come hungry/thirsty so dont eat for a week. Don't tell them their bathroom water faucet will be just fine after ordering a burger when they ask what you want to drink with it. They didnt like that answer. If you say no thanks to a drink while getting popcorn or food they go straight off the deep end and say your smuggling contraband. I wont ever be back and I hope you choose wisely where to spend your valuable time. If you do go don't try throwing your cups out at the trash can before the booth either. He'll just flap it non stop, possibly to the wrong person next time. Throw it away well before hand and when you see him just smile and say im so hungry, i haven't ate in a week, let me in. Anyway, this movie theater is great, has discounted tickets and an assortment of lobby food/snack offerings, even alcohol and ice cream. We went to see the new Mario movie tonight, the showtime was at 9:20 so we get there a little before then. They told us they were still cleaning the theater so we had to wait which was fine, but then at concessions my friend ordered after us and the girl told him that he was basically out of luck for having ice in his drink because they were out of ice(I had just ordered from her and got ice) I think she clearly was being lazy and didn't want to go fill up her ice well, we had to go to the restaurant to get ice from the soda machine in there. They let us in the theater around 9:40 and we proceeded to wait for the movie to start. But around 10:20 the screen was still blank and the lights were still on. My friend went to go ask what was going on, and the employees were shocked to find out it wasn't playing. Which tells me that when they were running late cleaning they forgot to actually start playing the movie. Shortly after, around 10:40 the movie finally kicks on, but from the very start of the commercials. So we sit through another 30 min of commercials and trailers, and then the movie starts. Here's the kick, none of the 4d features were working. No chairs were moving, no wind was being blown, it was just a normal movie at that point. This was also a full theater of people who just paid a lot of money for 4D, so I went and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was the same girl from concessions that told my friend he was out of luck with ice. I told her the 4d wasn't working, and she seemed like she really didn't care and told me someone else already complained and they were fixing it. So I go back in and wait for it to be fixed, and then the movie turns off completely and the lights come on. The manager girl comes in and tells everybody they are fixing the 4d and that it'll come back on in 10 min and we can get refunds at the end of the movie. Perfect. So we wait, and then the movie kicks back on but 5 min past where we were at so it was a little confusing, but also THE 4D WAS STILL NOT WORKING. We decided to just finish watching the movie and accept the loss. After the movie we got in a long line to get our refund, and the girl was the only one up there and gave a couple people a refund but as the line got longer she disappeared and made another guy come and give out the refunds. I wish I got the girls name because honestly she should not be in a management position. She clearly didn't care about the guest experience and was extremely unprepared for the opening day of this movie. We got our refund but we will not be returning to this location, this is one of the many reasons people don't go to the movies anymore!

The young folks working are nice, the area can be messy from folks dropping popcorn. The bathrooms seem to always be icky no matter when you come in. The chairs are comfortable and the vibe is always great in the theater. The movie ticket, medium pop corn and a drink may set you around $30 each visit for an early show. But they were still ok. 3 tickets, 2 drinks, popcorn and nachos were $55. That's about the expected price for a theater. We were in theater #2 for our show. When we walked in, there was an odor that took me a moment to place. It smelled like vomit. I'm sure it was from spilled drinks, of which there was a bit of. The seats are ok comfortable. I don't think I could sit there for a two and a half hour movie like my husband and nieces did a couple weeks ago, but I handled the hour and forty minute one. The theater seated close to 100, give or take a few. I think that's reasonable. Enough for quite a few to go, but not so crowded or noisy that it's uncomfortable. There were 6 shows playing, which is decent for a small town.

If there were more customers, then the line would be packed outside. Additionally, room 9 had flickering projection causing distraction of enjoying the movie.
