I realized once the swelling went down that I needed to go buy a size smaller and decided to go to Academy on the 54 in Owensboro. I saw the exact same shoes that I purchased at shoe shop for over $20 less at academy. I had heard that they were a little pricey, but I didn't realize that they were that high priced. My recommendation is that you go to Academy first because their prices are fair.

I didn't think we had a great store like that around, was going to try brands I liked that I knew they carried. I was so wrong! This place was far and above my expectations and exactly what the article mentioned. I spoke to a gal that was extremely knowledgeable about the two brands (Hoka and Brooks) that I was interested in. I explained what I wanted/needed, she made a few recommendations. I made the selections and she brought out several pairs of each. She had me sit and actually put the shoes on my feet! Made sure they were the proper fit, laced them up and had me walk around the store. It was incredible, I was over the moon with the store/clerk and the shoes were epic.
