I showed up his morning and they did not have the glasses. The assistant told me they could have them in another week. I live 30 minutes from this office and the least I thought they could do was call me before I traveled to their office, but that did not happen. I was honestly astounded at how high the prices are for a flea market that's essentially in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't tell if the people at the counter were the owners or just working the register. Either way, they were giving my group major stink eye the entire time we were in there. No greeting despite the fact that I said hello to them when we walked in. I say this a lot but it could have something to do with looking like younger alternative people in a place that clearly caters to an older, more conservative clientele. We walked around, looked for a bit, and balked at the prices. I mean, honestly. This place is packed full of stuff. We were the only people there on a Sunday afternoon. There's no way they're selling this stuff! They do have a fairly wide selection and I would say it's worth the stop just to look around. Lots of authentic antiques and no Temu junk, which is unique in and of itself these days! Stop by if you want? We didn't buy anything and I don't think the stuff in here is worth what they're charging.

Anyway, with that said...I have always liked shopping at Doggie Bag for their low prices and overall higher quality of merchandise, especially regarding women's clothing. The new store is awesome, it is much cleaner and smells nicer and the prices are still low. Kudos to them! The store is really nice and I will probably shop here even more than I did in the past. I am not in possession of full details but I know Doggie Bag operates in support of the Southeast Kansas Humane Society and is a huge source of their funding. I am glad to patronize this business!

The Painted Barrels beef and pork are family raised and pasture fed locally, and the freshness just stands out! I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly tender and flavorful. The meats always cook nicely both on the grill and in a pan. The sausages are far more flavorful than anything you can buy from corporation, and you can REALLY taste the freshness in the ground beef. The meat is very fairly priced for the exceptional quality, and in my opinion, very reasonable. Can you find cheaper meat out there? Yes... but life's too short to eat Walmart steak, and why not support a small business? It is my plan to start buying pretty much all my beef and pork from Painted Barrels.
