I was very disappointed with my pedicure experience at The Salon Company. Before the service began, I told the technician that I had a very sensitive spot on my foot that I believed could be a wart or a callus. I trusted their professional judgment, but they used a metal, cheese-grater-like foot file on that area, which was extremely painful. After the appointment, I looked into Colorado regulations and became concerned because I believe the tool and technique used may not be permitted under state cosmetology rules. I feel my concerns about the sensitive area should have been taken more seriously, and I should have been informed before something that painful was done. The polish application was also disappointing. My toenails looked sloppy and did not have the clean, professional finish I expected from a pedicure. Overall, I left feeling unhappy with the quality of the service and the level of care I received. I won't be returning. read more

Don't waste your time or your money. This was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. The tech was rough and cut me twice and tried making excuses why. My toes are still super sore and need to have antibiotic cream put on several times a day. Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing. read more

I had the basic pedicure and compared to other places I have been to this place rocks! I had the best pedicure I have had in a looong time. The Quality of the leg massage was exceptional! Actually the whole experience was exceptional. The whole vibe is comfortable and relaxing. Absolutely worst experience and rudest nail tech I've ever had. From the moment I sat down, she was irritated with me and what I wanted. I simply asked for nude, coffin nails and ended up with this. She rushed refilling and shaping my nails, and didn't agree with what I requested, making rude remarks like "that color looks like your skin." I asked her to make them shorter in the beginning and she quickly shaved them down without ever once asking if the length or shape was okay. She had a horrible attitude the entire time, making it difficult and uncomfortable for me to speak up. There's so much more I'd like to say but long story short don't come here but if you do never let the girl do your nails. I should've asked her name but you'll know who she is by her attitude. Ps. I get my nails done very often & im a good tipper. I never do this but felt necessary. read more

This is my second review-- I reviewed this place awhile ago receiving great service well it didn't last--my daughter (from California) and I went --- and guess what ? we did 2 pedicures , we were not told the charge would be $55 and the total was $110.00 tip not included. The service was sub par-- we were treated rudely! The filling was rough, (cuticles were filed which burned when they started prepping for Polish, the lady tech that did mine didn't speak one word to me. I will never go back here!!! My elderly Mother-in-Law and I have frequented The Salon Company on many occasions. We haven't been together in a while since my Father-in-Law passed away due to getting life back on track for her and grieving. She uses a walker and is very slow when she IS able to get out of the house. She is also a salon owner of 50 years back in MI. We made appointments for 10am today. Me a fill and her a gel mani/pedi. As we walked in I had to cancel my appt due to a very sensitive nail with possible infection. The person who was checking us in reminded me to call and cancel next time. I was fine with that little reminder even tho they opened only an hour earlier. They told my MIL to walk to the back and wash her hands. She is short (4'8") and not able to reach the sink. They in turn told her to go to the bathroom to wash her hands. The person who I see as the possible person in charge came up to us and asked what the problem is. I advised them that is far to walk and in the past they would set her in the pedi chairs and sanitize her hands. He pointed to a chair for mani's and said go sit there and began to scold me for not calling to cancel my appt so they "can fit more people in" ok understood but he kept on, loudly with a room full of people. We finally got to the chair as he was repeating himself and I said its ok cause they will have two less clients after today. His response was "you can leave now then" we slowly left this salon without raising our voices or causing a sceen and won't be back. read more

I saw Hannah, Last minute the day before Thanksgiving, I called and just asked for the youngest and trendiest stylist. I am from San Francisco, CA...and back in PW to visit my family for the holiday and I really needed a lift on my tresses. I already had a two toned style, Light crown and dark brown nape with a long kardashian cut. My light up top had become less-than light, and the brown was fading and I went in just to have it touched up with maybe some highlights. I asked Hannah about maybe doing a brownish red for the Christmas season on the under side of my mane and she was great. #1-- She asked the right questions. #2 -- She actually listened to my answers! (I can't stand it when a stylist thinks what you want to do with your own hair is 'too risky' or not right for your 'skin tone'. Don't get me wrong I appreciate advice, but if I don't choose to accept it than I still expect you to do what I am asking to my hair!) Hannah was a GREAT listener! #3 -- Hannah is a color specialist which meant that although I was doing two VERY different colors on my same head...she made sure they blended well. #4 -- She was NEAT! Foils were well folded, when she was all done with my foils I still looked like a human not an alien hott mess. I realize how neat or tidy the foils are doesn't effect the color, but it does effect my confidence in my stylist! I was so confident the entire time. Which is very different from the average sit in the chair and white knuckle the armrests while I hope that the lady with the scissors doesn't mistake 2 inches for 6! (this HAS happened to me!) #5 -- The RINSE out! Was WELL WORTH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE! I got a whole head massage and it was luxurious. This experience in the City would have cost me at least $300. The Result....my dull mane was revived from 90's status Jenifer Aniston to a gourmet Khloe Kardashian with a touch of Paris Hilton on top! I cannot recommend Hannah enough! Honestly, if you want hollywood worthy hair, see her. It cost me about $105 not including Tip...but it was WELL worth IT! read more

Do NOT go here for nails. I went to get acrylics done. She filed the sides my my nails so much that my nails look misshaped. Didn't pay attention to my cuticles. My nails are also crooked and different lengths. The girl was very nice but I will not be going back here. 40 dollars wasted. read more

I have been here several times and have always had a good experience. I got a trim from Danielle and she was great and very friendly and I would recommend her. On my most recent visit I saw April. I decided to chop off my long hair and also get an all-over color. I hadn't cut my hair in over a year and I hadn't dyed my hair in over 5 years so although I knew I wanted it, I was also very nervous. April made me feel very relaxed and she understood the anxiety I was having about it all. She consulted a few people in the salon and also talked me through the colors we could try out. She took me step by step through the process and always made sure I was comfortable, etc. When it came time for the cut, I was very nervous! My hair was very long, almost all the way down my back and I decided to cut it off just past my collar bone, and I got layers in it. She double and triple checked to make sure it was the length I wanted (I've had a lot of experiences where the hairdresser just starts chopping and it ends up much shorter than intended). And she reassured me the entire time and made me feel so much better. She kept telling me the whole time that the color and cut were going to look so great. In the end, she was definitely right. One of the best salon experiences I've ever had. I absolutely love the cut and she was definitely right about the color. I will definitely be requesting April for appointments whenever I need them. read more

I had an appointment with Mandy for a haircut. She was patient, kind and did an excellent job. It was the best haircut I had had in years. The 5 stars is because of her. However, on the way to the shop I received a call concerning a cancer patient in our family being advised his condition had worsened. Prior to this call I had a family member pass away. With this news and being nervous about the haircut I wasn't myself. I was nervous and talked too much. When speaking with April (while making the appointment) I explained my hair was a mess and I had not had much luck finding a regular person to go to. She made the appointment for the same day. While Mandy was working with my hair April advises me she "warned" Mandy about me before arriving. This is the most rude a person has ever been to me in a salon. I laughed it off due to not knowing what else to do. I had told Mandy I would be back. I have now deceided I will never go back because I am NOT going to put myself in a position to once again be disrespected by April. Because of her "one visit and I'm DONE!" I rate April with a "zero." I've read her bio and a person with 20 years experience should understand how to approach clients whether she likes them or not! read more
