I trusted their professional judgment, but they used a metal, cheese-grater-like foot file on that area, which was extremely painful. After the appointment, I looked into Colorado regulations and became concerned because I believe the tool and technique used may not be permitted under state cosmetology rules. I feel my concerns about the sensitive area should have been taken more seriously, and I should have been informed before something that painful was done.
