It helps with respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, upper respiratory infections, anxiety, and many other things. I first came here a while back but became more regular here in October when I first had the flu. I was surprised that my congestion and coughing was shortened quite a bit. It was life changing. I used it for about 2.5 weeks and went about 4 out of 7 days per week. It's a salt breathing therapy for 45 minutes each session. This past December I went about 4-5 days a week each week. I had an ongoing cough and congestion when I visited up north and felt 35 degree weather. I love coming here and it's not a feeling that you feel immediately. It takes time but it's quite relieving, restful and relaxing. Everyone working here is a gem. It's like you are invited in their home and you feel at home, and you know you will come out feeling relaxed and feeling better. I am so happy that I know this is here! I thank The Salt Room Wesley Chapel for getting me through allergy season smoothly this year. I joined as a member in December 2019 and I don't regret a thing. First off, they have the best staff! Monica, Kristina, & Regina are all so kind, professional, and caring. Every time I visit, I feel like I'm catching up with old friends. January thru March 2020, I went 3-4 times a week. It was worth putting the time into my schedule to go there because I got through allergy season without any of my normal headache, congestion, or allergy symptoms. Currently, they are on a modified schedule and I have included a photo of it. When you walk in, your temperature is taken and then you are asked to walk down the hall to the bathroom and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. There are lockers available to store your things. There are two adult rooms and 1 kids room. Before entering an adult room, you are given little blue shoe covers to keep you from trailing dirt onto the salt. You enter a dimly lit room and sit in zero gravity chairs. You are given a blanket and tissues and then you just settle in for 45 minutes of relaxation as medical grade crushed salt is piped into the air and calming music plays in the background. It's the best! In between sessions, the room is sanitized with a UV light. The blankets are laundered by an outside service. There is a kids room and currently only one family is scheduled in there at a time. This may change as the county enters different phases. A parent must always accompany children under 5. Danielle is the owner and she's very caring. She's been in the health and wellness industry for a long time and she knows what she's talking about. Other services are offered such as facials, acupuncture, and a community yoga class. There are salt lamps of varying sizes available for sale as well as essential oils and other skin and healthcare items. You can purchase single sessions, packages, and unlimited monthly memberships for individuals or a household. You should call ahead and make an appointment before going there because they are ensuring that the rooms meet social distancing guidelines. The adult room appointments run on the hour and the half hour. You are asked to arrive 15 minutes early and the session lasts for 45 minutes. I booked this room because my daughter is not feeling well and had hoped to benefit from the salt room. I was told that my very well behaved 9 year old would not be welcome outside of a small toddler room. My daughter also has an auto immune disorder and is not able to play with the toys in a child's room which was explained. I also explained that we would like to sit in a more relaxing chair than what was provided in the toddler room. I asked to speak with a super visor but conveniently one was not available nor was contact info able to be provided. This is our first visit in Wesley chapel but by no means our first visit to a salt room. We have never had this problem before. It's sad to know that well behaved children are looked upon differently and that no exceptions can be made. She has traveled the world and is extremely well behaved. read more

The staff is so knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching you on how to improve your health. I also take advantage of their membership which allows me to get a monthly facial and two salt sessions. We love the salt room! I've been going here with my kids for about a year now. We started coming last year when I was pregnant and was looking for natural relief for my terrible allergies. Me and my 4 yr old also got sick and heard salt room sessions are great for flus and colds. The regular salt rooms are very relaxing, and the zero gravity chairs are comfortable and they also give you a blanket if you want one. They dim the lights and play relaxing music, very soothing. We decided after trying to get the 12 month unlimited children's room membership for 50/m it's the cheapest if you do an entire year. For a regular maintenance to keep my kids immune system boosted we try and come at least 2-4 times a month. Or as soon as my daughter starts with a runny nose or scratchy throat we come right away to nip it in the butt. Knock on wood but we've been healthy all year and haven't been sick since we started coming. It's great especially with my 4yr old being in school with all the germs, it helps keep both me and my 5 month old from getting sick as well. We travel a lot too and always do a session as soon as we get off the plane to keep us from getting sick. All in all my kids love the children's salt room. As long as your kids are under 5 one adult is required to be in room with them which is great because you get the benefits at no extra cost. Everyone at the Salt Room is so nice. I've been here twice so far. My son has had terrible allergies for 8 weeks and this place says they can help him. They recommend three visits in a row and then doing maintenance visits. Upon entry you are greeted with purchasing opportunities such as salt lamps, salt scrubs and oils. I scheduled the appt online which was very convenient. The staff even called ahead of time to make sure I came early so they could give me a tour. There is a waiting room in the front and a long hallway which reaches the other rooms. I only spent time in the children's salt room. It is filled with toys to amuse. You do not have private sessions but we were lucky enough to get one our first visit. The floor is loaded with salt which may be for looks or may have salt-lamp benefits? You put on booties to enter the sterile environment after leaving your belongings in a locker. They start grinding the salt I believe and then gradually have it blow into the room. They also teach you a breathing technique to help you get the most benefits. It feels great being in there. If you lick your lips you can taste the salt. You also feel it tingle in your nose and throat. My four year old had no trouble there and loved playing in the salt as if it were a beach. I still can't tell what the benefits will be. I'm only on day two. I'll update if I see a positive difference in his hacking cough. They also have an adult room which I haven't tried yet. It has the same level of salt. The salt scrub btw is fab!! It left my arms glowing! I've dealt with two staff members and both great. Very professional. Speaking from little experience in salt rooms but this place is amazing. Ambiance is calming and therapeutic with a welcoming feel to it . I want to make a special note of how friendly the staff is. I am so appreciative of the detailed information that was given. It was so wonderful as well as helpful because she answered all of my many questions. The salt room was spacious but intimate which felt inviting because of the lighting and placement of the chairs . Wow , so many benefits of the salt because of antibacterial properties. These minuscule salt particles are things you can feel on your body or in your mouth from breathing them in while they are blown into the room . I am happy I did this for me . I had my first Halotherapy treatment here a few years ago:) At the time I had horrible anxiety, insomnia and dealing with many other assorted health issues. was able to relax almost immediately. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff that took the time to explain all the information to me, answer my questions, and taught me a breathing technique to maximize the salt benefits of my session. At first I was skeptical about how effective it was for me, but Monica reminded me that I have had chronic allergies and asthma for quite some time, and that it would take more than just a couple sessions to heal before I could switch to a maintenance plan. I am so grateful for the staff's patience guiding me with an individualized healing plan. I almost forgot to mention DR. Stevell! I had been seeing him for acupuncture and he is phenomenal! I had to pause on my acupuncture treatments for a bit due to transportation issues, but am so happy to report I will be back in on 1/2/23 for my acupuncture and a food allergy test. I have been a suffering for over 18 years from severe sinusitis from the results of the toxic fumes of 9-11. I thought this would help some what. I can't even explain how much I love the Salt Room Wesley Chapel! My life has changed for the better in so many ways since I've started coming here. I first heard about the Salt Room from a friend that, after weeks of asking me to go with her, finally dragged me in. I have bad asthma and allergies, so I was pretty skeptical that it would help me. I also believe anything I can do naturally, instead of medicine and chemicals, is a good thing. My first Salt session was in early January. Everyone at work was getting sick with the flu and sinus infections, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I never took any medication, but bought a monthly membership to the Salt Room. I was the ONLY person at work to not get sick. Could've been coincidence, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward a month, I found out I was pregnant!!! My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for almost a year and, miraculously, two weeks after starting at the Salt Room, we conceived. Let me also say, I have hypothyroidism, which puts you at a higher risk of miscarriage and makes it more difficult to get pregnant in the first place. My thyroid levels were still out of whack when I found out I was pregnant, however, four months later, my levels are perfect for the FIRST TIME since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I'm now 6 1/2 months pregnant, thyroid levels are still perfect, still haven't taken any form of antibiotics, and still haven't even gotten a cold. I'm using my inhaler a lot less and allergy medication is basically a thing of the past for me. I also have eczema on my hands and haven't had to use any medication for that either. On top of all those wonderful things the Salt Room has done for me, it's such a relaxing experience! What an amazing experience with my children today. We have been sick with a cough for days so we decided to head to The Salt Room together. The staff made us feel welcome when we walked in and explained everything well to the kids. After a 45 minute session, both of my girls were breathing better immediately but the coolest part of the session was by the time we got into our car, their feet were sweating so much they were wet to the touch. It's amazing how our bodies can detox through our feet and hands. My hands were sweating and I was able to get some mucus out of my chest...finally!
