Salt lamps

This place is an oasis of peace and health. I come here for my facials and let me tell you she works magic on my skin. The staff is so knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching you on how to improve your health. I also take advantage of their membership which allows me to get a monthly facial and two salt sessions. My twins have been coming here since they were born and the benefits of this holistic approach are endless and in my opinion priceless. I bring all my out of town guest in to experience this place the salt is good for your hair, skin and lungs.

We love the salt room! I've been going here with my kids for about a year now. We started coming last year when I was pregnant and was looking for natural relief for my terrible allergies. Me and my 4 yr old also got sick and heard salt room sessions are great for flus and colds. The regular salt rooms are very relaxing, and the zero gravity chairs are comfortable and they also give you a blanket if you want one. They dim the lights and play relaxing music, very soothing. We decided after trying to get the 12 month unlimited children's room membership for 50/m it's the cheapest if you do an entire year. For a regular maintenance to keep my kids immune system boosted we try and come at least 2-4 times a month. Or as soon as my daughter starts with a runny nose or scratchy throat we come right away to nip it in the butt. Knock on wood but we've been healthy all year and haven't been sick since we started coming. It's great especially with my 4yr old being in school with all the germs, it helps keep both me and my 5 month old from getting sick as well. We travel a lot too and always do a session as soon as we get off the plane to keep us from getting sick. All in all my kids love the children's salt room. As long as your kids are under 5 one adult is required to be in room with them which is great because you get the benefits at no extra cost. Everyone at the Salt Room is so nice. I also have had a facial with Regina. She's awesome, she has a great touch. She always uses high quality products Sanitas. I'm so thankful this place is close to home!

After 19 months coming here, my breathing has improved tremendously. I've been an asthmatic for over 50 years, and often afflicted with sinus problems & colds. The Salt Room therapy, 45 minutes, once a month, has kept me healthier and I have had only 2 colds since I started here. I highly recommend The Salt Room for anyone with sinus or lung conditions!

I've been here twice so far. My son has had terrible allergies for 8 weeks and this place says they can help him. They recommend three visits in a row and then doing maintenance visits. Upon entry you are greeted with purchasing opportunities such as salt lamps, salt scrubs and oils. I scheduled the appt online which was very convenient. The staff even called ahead of time to make sure I came early so they could give me a tour. There is a waiting room in the front and a long hallway which reaches the other rooms. I only spent time in the children's salt room. It is filled with toys to amuse. You do not have private sessions but we were lucky enough to get one our first visit. The floor is loaded with salt which may be for looks or may have salt-lamp benefits? You put on booties to enter the sterile environment after leaving your belongings in a locker. They start grinding the salt I believe and then gradually have it blow into the room. They also teach you a breathing technique to help you get the most benefits. It feels great being in there. If you lick your lips you can taste the salt. You also feel it tingle in your nose and throat. My four year old had no trouble there and loved playing in the salt as if it were a beach. I still can't tell what the benefits will be. I'm only on day two. I'll update if I see a positive difference in his hacking cough. They also have an adult room which I haven't tried yet. It has the same level of salt. The salt scrub btw is fab!! It left my arms glowing! I've dealt with two staff members and both great. Very professional. They have a great special this month too for their one year anniversary. Try it out! Hard to give it five stars when I don't know yet what true benefits are as I have not yet seen with my own eyes.

Speaking from little experience in salt rooms but this place is amazing. Ambiance is calming and therapeutic with a welcoming feel to it . I want to make a special note of how friendly the staff is. I am so appreciative of the detailed information that was given. It was so wonderful as well as helpful because she answered all of my many questions. The salt room was spacious but intimate which felt inviting because of the lighting and placement of the chairs . Wow , so many benefits of the salt because of antibacterial properties. These minuscule salt particles are things you can feel on your body or in your mouth from breathing them in while they are blown into the room . I am happy I did this for me . I'm so willing to invest in my overall wellness . Definitely looking forward to feeling some improvement with my allergies from the salt room sessions . Soon, I may even try the acupuncture or yoga in the salt room as well .

Luu is thoughtful, curious, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her acupuncture (she's adept at various styles), cupping, gua sha, and herbal recommendations have helped us in many ways, and we've found her treatments to be a great complement to our conventional medical care. One thing we've always appreciated is how honest she is about what alternative medicine can and can't do. She never oversells anything, and she takes the time to really understand a patient's medical history, medications, and what they're hoping to get out of treatment. She's also always studying and keeping up with the latest in Eastern holistic medicine, and it really shows in the way she tailors each treatment. The clinic itself is small and cozy, with easy parking. Her rates are reasonable, and she offers packages for people who want to commit to a full course of treatment. In our experience, she's always been clear about how those packages work and the importance of following through with the treatment plan. For anyone looking for effective, compassionate care that supports their health and helps ease conditions without the possible side effects of traditional medicine, Soaring Crane Acupuncture is a wonderful option to keep in mind.

Prior to my appointment I took the time to answer her online questionnaire. At the start of my appointment she asked me those questions again, making it clear that she had not taken the time to read my responses. We then discussed my health concerns in detail. Later, she began acupuncture and inserted a needle into the back of my neck. It made a crunching sound going in and caused a sharp pain. she said the pain would go away. It did not. She then placed a sticker at the top of my spine and caught a strand of hair in it. That also hurt throughout the treatment. She put in another needle that was painful and caused discomfort the next day. During my appointment she received a personal call from a family member needing money. I have never had a medical appointment interrupted by a call to the medical person. She charged me $150 for the session. As a result of my uncomfortable feeling about "Dr. Laura", I went onto the NCCAOM website where she states she is registered. She is not in their directory. I asked her about it, and she said she stopped her membership because of their fees--but she still claims to be certified by them. I asked about her qualifications as a doctor, and she stated that she is allowed to call herself a doctor because she is an acupuncture physician. I doubt that it is allowed. It seems to me that using the title of doctor could only be an attempt to mislead clients. I canceled my remaining appointments.

While nothing too noticeable of a difference afterwards, it was refreshing and calming. I'd recommend, especially in Port Richey area which is slowly slowly slowly growing as Tampa Bay booms.

I don't think I have left a review on Yelp before. If I have, it has been too long to remember. I…read moresee there are a lot of great reviews on here so it could have just been my experience. I was asked to show up 15 minutes early for a new patient appointment. I showed up 20 minutes early and filled out paperwork promptly. I watched two people walk in after me, I would say a minimum of 20 minutes after. It could have been longer, I don't want to exaggerate, but I know it was at least that because they were certainly both after my appointment's start time. One with an appointment and one walk-in that needed something done quickly. I understand the walk-in was quick, but I was still placed behind them even though I had an appointment. She just strolled in and was taken care of almost immediately. I am not sure exactly why the other person with an appointment was taken back earlier. I was just told that she liked to spend more time with new patients, which I can appreciate, but within reason. After waiting 51 minutes, I was taken back and told my blood pressure was too high to be treated. I get that may be true, but most people's blood pressure increases as they wait longer and longer. I wouldn't want her to treat me if I'm not ready, but a simple acknowledgment would have sufficed. If that was going to decide whether I could be treated, it would have been nice and seems possible they could have done this when I got there. The office manager was incredibly nice and I enjoyed my experience with her. I will never go back and I will recommend people not to go here. I took time off from work to go to this. I showed up early in order for her to treat me as a new patient, but I was penalized for her earlier delays in the day. Once again, no one's fault for delays, but felt like the person that got there for their appointment well ahead might have been seen first. She may be a great acupuncturist, I cannot attest to that, but the experience was so bad it wouldn't be worth it. The office manager was incredibly nice and I enjoyed my experience with her.
