Thrift stores are becoming more like consignment shops with more collectable and high end items. My problem is when they overcharge for them. My know here is the same I have at most thrift shops they are 95% housewares and woman's clothing. As a man, I donate items that no longer fit or are just not my style and I assume I am not alone, that said, it's hard for me to find a selection of menswear at most thrift stores. This isn't my neighborhood, so it's less than likely I'll be back, but that said despite a friendly staff, this place is just not catering to men.

Ever since I stop by out of curiosity, i've been hooked. I love the artwork I got for cheap. This location compared to one I went to in Renton feels cleaner, but that location had its own perks. This location is staffed with friendly people. The place is tidy with some cool finds. Some things seem over priced. I usually find good deals in the tool isle. I like some of the unique items I have seen. But Goodwill knows how to price them so they are not too good of a deal. For example a small wooden sailboat I liked was priced at $30. I can find it online for the same price brand new. Often times, the items that are marked up more than usual are labeled as an "antique" on the price sticker. That is definitely one example of how some things may seem overpriced when you shop at goodwill. My wife and I were going to grab a play kitchen for our toddler. Those go for $100+ at Target or walmart. Goodwill had one priced at $30 and check out the picture of it on this review, it's a nice one... They got seasonal items and other things that are brand new. Fridge with cold drinks, candy and snacks at the front. A bathroom for customers. You are good to shop for hours if you want to...lol Minus 1 star because some items are overpriced.

After opting out of donating I asked if I was going to get bags for the glassware I purchased, the cashier (male with a lot of tattoos) got upset and literally threw a bag at me... and I bagged the items myself. I have been shopping for clothing here most recently, following a large weight loss and have been very pleased with both the quality and assortment of clothing. The everyday prices are great, and by shopping on discount days (a calendar is available which shows these) i've scored some great outfits for just a few bucks. Most recently i spent all of three bucks and got two pairs of pants and a Gloria Vanderbilt blouse by coming in on Sunday when all clothing is 99 cents per piece. The big building on the lot is also the home of the Project Pride office for the Snohomish Co. PUD, they distribute the funds. Unlike some so called thrift stores St Vincent de Paul is heavily involved in helping those who are in need in our local community, not a popular subject in the extreme right wing atmosphere in this country which seems to believe that only the rich deserve to live with any dignity. I was able to mention to the cashier I donated before coming in and was given a 20% off coupon which helped a ton. This location I went in looking for collectibles and found some really cool Pyrex I passed on because of the terribly inflated pricing. I think they forget there's lead in most of those items. So - be careful on hunting down those things. There's no public restrooms and some rowdy transients that hang off on the side that'll tell you all types of rude pieces of knowledge as you walk to your car. Please stay far away from this shop…read more I found this place on Apple Maps, I had never seen it before, I go check it out. As soon as I walk in the isles are small and made me feel suffocated, I'm use to antique stores being crowded but this was just gross and disgusting. The music was BLARING I couldn't even think. I look through one small rack of clothes and a small box in the front, nothing peaked my interest so I walk out of the store without purchasing anything. I go into another shop next door, later as I'm leaving another shop, a lady with long dark hair starts running at me filming me saying I stole and to never come back. She took pictures of my car, she filmed me. Lord knows where she will post them. I felt so scared, I didn't even come to the conclusion that she thought I stole till a bit after, I was terrified that this strange lady was screaming and filming me getting into my car.
