My baseline for amazing antique malls is a great store in Mckinney on the square where everything is well displayed, obviously juried and friendly. With that in mind, the Plano Antique Mall was just meh. The flow of the store is interesting, no one greeted me when I entered-they just looked cranky. Three staff members passed me while I was shopping and not one smiled or greeted even though I smiled at them. Zero customer service. Many of the booths were great and well displayed. BUT so many were so overpacked it looked like one of those East Texas yard sales where the stuff is left in the yard 24/7. The booths have so much potential. This company should assist vendors in displaying items. 5,000 items will not fit in a space meant for 500 (slight exaggeration to make a point). It is ok to display some items and then switch out seasonally! Some booths were so chaotic and full that you couldn't even walk into them to shop. I didn't buy anything on this trip. Pros-lots to shop and look at. You never know if there is a treasure that you need. Cons-uninterested staff. So many messy, garage sale looking booths which made me lose interest pretty fast. read more

Visited this antique mall for the first time this past weekend and really enjoyed it. As soon as you walk in you can smell the antique-ness, which adds to the charm. There were some great finds and solid deals throughout the booths. I was surprised that all the booths were unmanned, but it actually made browsing more relaxing since you could take your time looking at items and prices. Really fun spot to explore. I've heard their parking lot sales are great too, so I'll try to make it to the one in April! read more

Not a place I see myself coming out of my way for, but good place to walk around and kill time if I'm nearby. It smells antiquey in there and there is a wide variety in all the open booths. I was excited to see some custom labubus also. read more

This is my favorite antique mall in the area. Great assortment of good finds and great prices.

I've been here several times and it's a hit or miss for me. One of my favorite collectors is here though, booth D19 is always a hit. I'll go to this store just to see her booth. The entire stores prices are very reasonable and there's tons of stuff. You could easily spend several hours strolling down the aisles! If you're an antique lover, this place is a must! read more

They have everything!!! And you can also have lunch and even do high tea if you want to. We had lunch here and the sandwiches were excellent and dessert was good also. I found some beautiful plates here and they were a bit pricy but the booth owner came down a little so it made it worthwhile to buy. We plan on coming back soon read more

There is a lot of good finds here and everything is decently priced. This is one of the antique places that has transitioned a bit into older pop culture things (ex: pop funkos). I really love all things antiquing and try to support local, but I believe a fair rating at for this location at this moment would be 3 stars. There are a few vendors/dealers with new wares or imported goods, so I'm not sure if the mall has a strict policy on an antique % minimum. I've personally had nothing but nice experiences with the staff. I've found the prices here to be some of the best for the few items I spotted in my niche, but there's a lot of clutter in general to sort through. Really hope it sticks around and can improve, and looking forward to upgrading my rating when it does! read more

This place is not worth going to. The staff was very unfriendly, and unprofessional. I inquired about renting a booth, and was asked what kind of items I had. There was maybe one booth similar in the entire place, but the stuff in that booth was garbage compared to what I wouldve filled a booth with. She blatently told me they weren't interested, but I could leave my number. Why on Earth would I leave my number? Everything in this store is overpriced junk that didn't sell online. Pretty cool place ! It's located in an old mall and it's the only store in the building . After devouring my fried okra from a known place down the road, I had to check it out . So , if you love little knick knacks , old decor items , vintage cloth napkins , and one of a kind Victorian art , this is your spot . I'm typically looking for Art Deco or Hollywood regency styles and I didn't find those here. I will revisit to see if they get those items in . It's definitely worth a visit ! read more

Had so much fun rummaging through all the booths here! The place is giant and have a range of goods and price points - anyone can find a little treasure here! My only complaint is that there was a decent amount of new goods. Maybe I'm a purest when it come to antique malls, but I don't think people come for the new goods and it can be deceiving to pick up an item thinking you've found something unique and in fact it is a reproduction you can buy at HomeGoods. Just be wearing when searching through some booths! Also know that they won't negotiate/call a dealer for items under $50. read more

I've lived in Plano for 18 years and always knew this store was there, just never visited. We finally decided one day to visit. We had our masks on, but the employees did not. My biggest issue is my husband was followed. I am white and wandered the store in peace. My husband is black, and he and our 12 year old daughter were followed by an older male employee. It got to a point that whatever area/isle he was on, he would see this employee pass by looking to see what he was doing. This is 2021 and nobody is going to make us feel like we should leave, so we continued to browse. We didn't buy anything (although I had items to buy before this behavior started), and we will absolutely never return or recommend shopping here to anyone we know. It's an absolute shame that store owners and employees behave this way. read more

I try not to be too judgmental when I go to antique malls because I know I am particular and I also know that everybody's taste is different. I also have a couple of booths at other malls in town and I know first hand how hard vendors work to try to find just the right items to make their customers happy. Some vendors do it better than others. One thing I do know from my own experience is that presentation is everything. My chief complaint about this particular Mall would be that they're just not seem to be a very high standard for the Aesthetics. Some of the vendors literally had stuff just thrown all over the floor of their Booth to the point where there were four and five layers deep of things and unless you were highly motivated you would have no desire to dig through looking for something that may or may not be there. And then right next to it would be a well-maintained booth. My advice to management at this booth would be to have some kind of standards that you enforce in order to keep your good vendors and you're neat and tidy vendors happy. When I first arrived I actually inquired about the possibility of opening yet another location at this particular Mall. What I was very impressed with what's the fact that they have a lot of foot traffic in this place. Spell ultimately for now I have decided not to get a third location here because of the lack of standards and what the booths next to my booth look like. If it is not good for a vendor to consider I have to think that some customers are put off as well. None of us there are some very good vendors and this small does a great job getting people in the door so I will write them a 3. read more

I don't know how the mall is, but this weekend I attended their parking lot sale. These poor folks who set up had no idea there would be no signage in the streets to bring in the public. So few buyers... it was hot and the long faces (no sales) made me sad for what was going to be a negative cash flow for so many. I was told it was "$30 Cash only" for 2 spaces. That means NO record of income reported and it was non taxed. There had to be almost 150 spots so that is a nice bit of income for this owner. He/she owes them an apology and a refund for the joke they pulled. They'll have another the end of Oct... pray people catch on and never give them another cent. read more

Im looking for something chinese for the bathroom and thought it could be hiding here. I saw several things woth buy which is rare in these type of places. Such a dodgy little place. You enter a bizarre almost abandoned looking building with a sign half missing, then you find the antique mall is merely an old store space inside an abandoned mall type building not the entire building. The antiques were merely just old stuff you'd find at goodwill mixed with a ton of 1990s stuff that nobody needs in their homes anymore. It was beyond a disappointment. read more

Spent a few hours here on my day off. Everything is SO overpriced. It's ridiculous. I was able to find a few things on some clearance shelves and when I went to check out I told the lady "these are 80% off" and she starts yelling at me for reminding her. Like she was offended I wanted to make sure the discount was applied. I feel so sorry for the people who have their shops here. How can they make money when someone like this is yelling at their patrons? Sad. read more

Love this place! It's like going to a museum of yesteryear's artifacts, except there's no entrance fee. You could literally wander the aisles for hours looking at everything as this place is huge with many antique/vintage dealers' booths. Great place to find unique gifts for that person who seems to "already have everything." I guarantee you'll find something here. read more

A vendor ripped me off on a product I bought. It was supposed to be a complete set of 1989 Donruss Baseball cards but It was missing a number of key cards. The lady basically called me a liar and said sales are final when I told her someone had obviously opened it and picked out the good cards then sealed it back up and wrote full set on it. She must have known the vendor because she got defensive real quick telling me it's hearsay. Plano Antique Mall supports fraud. They let the vendors rip you off and couldn't care less. I tried to be nice and civil and that didn't work. Guess I'll have to try another way. Stay away from this junk ass place read more

This place is awesome!! It's organized, no funny antique smell, and salespeople are helpful! Plentiful parking as well! I was looking to see what night stands they might have before heading to Ikea. While I didn't find a set, I saw some really cool things which were a bit expensive. Something like heirloom cups for 75$ for 8 cups. Definitely beautiful but maybe not now?? There's different sellers so each booth is a bit different. I like how that's organized. The aisles are easy to navigate so it's convenient for families!. Come here and check it out! Ive bought some random decorative items here as well as furniture. There is so much to look at I always spend a minimum of an hour here. I try to go whenever I am in the area. read more

I've purchased a few things from here. It's a great place to browse, just make sure you have plenty of time. It goes on forever. Keep the antique mall and add the artists, the candle maker, the kite maker, the glass blower, the stained glass maker, the candy shop and all the specialty shops back in. Make it a place for entrepreneurs. Bring in little restaurants, a beignets and coffee shop and tea houses. Turn the far end into a dog park/daycare. (If you have a dog you know Texas needs an indoor dog park.) It could be a place where you drop your dog off for a couple hours while you shop or meet friends for lunch. read more

I'm giving this four stars because i found a lamp that should have cost me hundreds of dollars, for $99, that being said, it's mostly crap. I suppose it's as the great philosopher Emmit Smith said, "We had some diamonds, but we had a lotta cow poo poo around it, and the diamonds was mixed in with the poo poo...it just all look like poo poo." In the interest of full disclosure, I like my antique stores to be cramped, dusty, overflowing little holes in the wall. I like digging through piles of stuff to find my prize! I guess it's the thrill of the hunt. Anyway! The Plano Antique Mall is not really like that. It is definitely a Plano-ized version of an antique mall. Several of the booths had legit antiques, and several were heavily themed with handmade items. One booth of hair bows, one of wood cut-out letters, one of scarves, one of Tom's shoes (WTH? Don't ask me.), one of handmade signs, and so on. Lots of decor items and crafts, but only some antiques. I'm looking for estate jewelry and depression glass, and only a few booths had either. The one booth that had my pattern of sandwich glass was so outrageously over-priced, I left empty-handed. But I'd check back because, like I said, I enjoy the hunt. read more

I stopped in here earlier today to peruse their antique goodies. For a place tucked away in a small mall next to a Garden Ridge, this place was pretty good. A lot of their items are very Americana, which is not quite my bag, but there are a lot of other things that caught my eye! For instance, there are several dealers that specialize in vintage action figures and toys, and most of them are still in original packaging. Another dealer has a lovely collection of vintage Pyrex. And there are dealers with vintage glassware galore! I lucked out when I stumbled upon a dealer with a set of 7 vintage Braniff flatware pieces for $15. Sweet! Prices here are reasonable, and the layout is nice and organized. There were some booths with items that were noticeably not vintage, but overall, I enjoyed coming here. I'll probably be back soon to give that Pyrex a closer look! read more
