Funny. Blame it on the customer you're not serving, but getting paid to serve. I wouldn't expect much from the Sanford Group.

ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE. This agent inherited my account…read more In September of 2024, just by accident, I discovered, while reviewing my checking account, that my July homeowners insurance payment had not been automatically withdrawn from my account, but my auto insurance had been withdrawn. That was a Farmers Insurance glitch, as I was advised. Unbeknownst to me, I had gone nearly two months without coverage, though no one had ever contacted me. When I called to inquire, they assured me that the issue would be rectified. It was and they promptly withdrew the payment for the month that I was not insured. I recently discovered that the EXACT SAME THING has happened THIS year. (See image). On September 9, 2025 I phoned The Charles Jenkins, Farmers Insurance Agency to increase the amount of my homeowners insurance, due to making approximately $80K in upgrades over the last could y of years. I spoke with Daphne, who assured me that she would call me after addressing it with underwriters. A week later, still no call. I phoned again, speaking with Omar, who seemed surprised that I hadn't heard anything. He asked me to hold while he spoke with Daphne. He returned to the phone, advising me that he would "call you tomorrow." I waited another week. I phoned the agency back, now aggravated, and asked to speak with Charles Jenkins, the agency owner. Omar advised that Charles was not in and I inquired when he might be expected. Omar advised that "he doesn't come into the office, the office runs itself." I responded that obviously it does not run itself.". Charles never called, so I'm not sure if he received the message I left with Omar, for Charles to call, but MIRACULOUSLY, I received the email, from the underwriters the following morning, denying my request for an increase in the value of my homeowner's policy (see image). My homeowners policy was changing for some unknown reason, upon renewal and the agency had sent numerous emails, requesting my signature for said change. I ignored them. On September 24, 2025 I received a call from Heidi, in the Jenkins Agency, who was initially very pushy with her script regarding the need for my signature. After she had delivered her speech, I said "No, not until I hear from Charles." Then I explained why. She was very understanding and said that she wouldn't even send me the information until after I had spoken with Charles, whom she was calling immediately after we disconnected our call. I never heard from Charles. This lack of business acumen, particularly among insurance companies and their associated agencies, reflects poorly on the entire industry which is slightly less slimy than that of used car salesmen and equally despised. As a result of The Jenkins Agency's poor business practices, I procured a bundled policy elsewhere. The new carrier had no issue with an additional $80K in coverage, nor did the other six carriers I interviewed. On September 26, 2025 I emailed the Jenkins Agency, to request cancellation of all my policies with Farmers, effective 10/01/25. Almost immediately, I received an email from Omar, stating that my policies "have been cancelled." I emailed him immediately, telling him that he had ALSO performed this task incorrectly and to reinstate my policies immediately, until 10/01/2025. The level of incompetence, with this agency is UNBELIEVABLE and that's coming from a former State Farm client of forty years.

I've had a horrible experience with this company. Firstly, my agent Chris was great when giving me…read morea quote, but as soon as I needed actual information on the actual policy, he was unaccessible most of the time. Secondly, at the last minute before closing on my home, he changed the price he quoted me, making my mortgage payments higher. Then, after having the policy only 2 weeks and needing information, I was informed that he was "no longer with the company." The new agent was able to help me, at first..until I was notified NOT BY MY AGENT, but by Farmers directly, that my policy had been cancelled. The agent wrote me a different policy, but not for what I needed. This policy would have ended up being canceled as well. Between not being able to contact anyone, to being given false promises about being called back and never getting a call from Charles, having a policy canceled and one written that wasn't what I needed, although I provided all the necessary information, I am BEYOND frustrated and disappointed with the service I received from this agency. NEVER AGAIN!

Tiffany and her crew have taken great care of my family and our insurance needs (both car and home)…read moreover the years. They are always quick to answer questions and offer advice based on our insurance needs. Probably the best advice Tiffany gave me a few years ago was to add the KEEPER to my policy on a new vehicle we bought. When my kids and I were hit by a DUI driver one afternoon on our way home, our then 1 1/2 year old car was totaled. The driver of the car at fault was under-insured, which in normal circumstances would have left a hefty gap for me to cover to pay off my car and to purchase a new one. But since I had the keeper, my car was replaced with the funds for a brand new, current year model of what I had. (In essence, my 2014 Honda Pilot was replaced with a BRAND NEW 2016 model with all the same features my original one had on it). This was one of those times insurance DEFINITELY paid off. Without Tiffany having sat and explained the benefits of the KEEPER to me and convincing me it was a smart thing to do with a new vehicle, I would have been in a drastically different situation after that accident. If you don't have the Keeper as part of your policy, I'd reach out to Country Financial and see if your vehicle is eligible. It saved us a lot of headaches and a ton of money.
