Had a lovely girls day at the spa. Rented a day pass thru the resortpass app, but I guess i could have done it directly thru sawgrass and it would have been cheaper. The spa is small and not the most up to date, but it is a nice relaxing place to check out for a day. I enjoyed drinks and lunch by the pool, went in the indoor hottub (outdoor one was out of order), melted in the sauna, and took a nap in the relaxation room. I didn't opt for any services but will consider next time. Staff customer service was 5/5! Really impressed with the staff esp since I'm not a sawgrass member. read more

A beautiful surprise! I was very surprised to see the low rating on here because I really enjoyed myself! I didn't do any prior research before coming, but everything about our visit was wonderful. My massage was amazing, and the friend who joined me absolutely loved hers as well. The facility itself was spotless, and everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We especially loved lounging by the pool afterwards, they have staff available right there to take your food and drink orders, & I highly recommend the pomegranate martini! They also have nice touches inside like self serve tea, coffee, & fruit infused water. I really loved the overall vibe of this spa and will absolutely be back! read more

Tomorrow is my 29th wedding anniversary, so I decided to book a couples massage for a gift to me and my husband. It was a great idea. The spa is only 30 minutes from our home, so that made it really easy. The spa is part of the Sawgrass Marriott hotel on A1A in Ponte Vedra. The grounds are beautiful, and the spa sits in a separate building from the hotel. The vibe is very peaceful. We were quickly greeted as we walked into the spa. We were then escorted to our respective locker rooms to change into robes and slippers. You then wait in the relaxation room until it is time for your massage. The massage room was dimly lit and infused with relaxing music and aromatherapy. The massage therapists, Mary and Kenny, were outstanding. After the massage, you can use the other amenities like the sauna, pool, or hot tub. read more

There is no installed heat in their building so when we showed up on a chilly morning, the interior temperature was downright freezing. There were space heaters everywhere. The relaxation room was maybe 60 degrees and was anything but relaxing. The interior is outdated and sad looking. I had a disagreement with the manager over the quoted charges and I ended up having to get management at the hotel involved to give us the charges that we were quoted in person the previous day. When I was at the desk checking out, there was another woman who had issues also (she made the appointment online and added that she was pregnant, when checking in she was told that the rate would be higher but when she challenged the manager, she relented). I would never return, they need new management and a major renovation. read more

I had an amazing experience at The Sawgrass Spa. I was here on a work retreat and my boss paid for a spa day for my team and I. We got a 50 minute massage which included access to all their amenities such as the sauna, steam room, hot tub, pool, relaxation room, showers and etc. When you walk in, you're given a soft robe and rubber slippers. You're taking to the locker room to change and then you wait in the relaxation room until you're massage therapist greets you and takes you back. I had the massage therapist named Jennifer worked on my full body massage. She worked on my toes, leg, lower back and upper. She used hot towels, hot stones and used different pressure points during her massage. It was phenomenal! I will definitely be coming back! read more

Wow- for the price of my massage I expected a lot better. Was greeted warmly by the first attendant but had a very lackluster massage in a freezing room. No neck support when I was asked to turn over on my back and wasn't even offered water when complete. I was still freezing so when I attempted to go to the hot tub (in a very drab and uninviting area), the lights were turned off. After several minutes of trying to locate an attendant who weirdly responded that the lights get shut off periodically-- huh?? When I finally checked out and complained about the frigid temperatures- the staff made light of my experience and joked-- "you are from Chicago- aren't you used to it?"-- Never again read more

I've been to the Sawgrass Spa twice now, with both times have a wonderful experience. I've had massage and facial appointments and had very thoughtful and experienced technicians. My massages have always left me feeling extremely relaxed and the facility is quiet, clean, and very calming. They offer tea, trail mix, and fruit-flavored water in their locker room areas. The relaxation room is very clean and of course, relaxing. My technicians always explained what they were doing and did well discussing any areas of concern for me. They also have luxurious robes and slippers they provide, and you can enjoy their steam room, sauna, indoor jacuzzi or their private pool and jacuzzi outside. I also have to give a huge shout out to the staff running Soothies Cafe, their outdoor pool bar, as they've always gone above and beyond to make mine and my friends' spa day special. Both times I've visited have been for birthdays (mine and my friend's) and they made sure to thrown in an extra treat or give us extra fruit garnishes or pickles/olives in our Bloody Mary's. The food and beverages are always excellent. I would highly recommend the Sawgrass Spa and will definitely visit again. read more

We booked online well in advance of our stay. W/have booked a 80 vs. 50 minute CBD massage, however it wasn't presented as an on line option. Massage scheduled @ 9am. Email from Spa requested arrival 30 min. beforehand. Found doors locked upon arrival and no one in attendance. Found our way in via the gym and attendant walking our way. She said they don't open until 9. I informed her of their email request. Upon entry we had wished we brought our sweatpants and coat. Air temp was frigid. While our massages were good, the facility is quite underwhelming. Shower pressure was weak; all cabinetry (while functional and not in disrepair) could stand a facelift. Nicer Spas have either granite or marble. No seating in reception area. I wouldn't go out of my way to this Spa. read more

A great getaway or last minute decision. They have open availability on most days and are happy to work you in. They have a cute shop to buy gifts or indulgent items for yourself. A gym to workout, a nice size pool outside with a beautiful view and a nice snack shop that makes fresh smoothies, drinks, salads, and cheese plates. I love their sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. It's the perfect size and temperature and you will feel refreshed when you leave. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time a couple months ago for just a message. The massage was great however the hospitality of the rest of the staff was poor. I checked in and the woman at the desk pointed me in the direction of the locker room. I walked in and the attendant handed me a robe and slippers and showed me the locker room then walked away. I have never been here before so had no clue where to go for my massage. A few moments later a group came in with the woman at the front desk who was showing them around the whole area letting them know when and where to be for the message, thankfully I could over hear everything so figured out where to go for my message. I didn't feel very welcomed so chose not to stay after my massage and decided to leave. My second visit was just a couple days ago. I reserved a message and a gel manicure. The message was great. The manicure however was AWFUL! The polish was chipping after just an hour, I went back to the salon and she agreed to fix my nails which was great however not even 24 hours later they're completely chipping again. It's a waste of money so don't even bother! As for the rest of the amenities the pool was cold which is probably nice in the summer but they stated it was head but that wasn't the case, the indoor spa was out of service, the outdoor spa had one jet working too well, it was pushing water up over the edge the spa and no other jets were working. The food was great and so were the drinks. If all you want is a message then this place is just fine. If you're looking for a full spa day I'd say skip this place and try somewhere else. I likely will not return to this place ever. read more

This spa is fairly average, bordering on poor. I found the relaxation room to be too crowded with other women, and the pillows weren't the right size and were not positioned in the best way to promote comfort. I had a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure turned out great, but the gel manicure didn't even last a week without chipping. The person doing my service was very pleasant, though. It was chilly in the spa and I was freezing during my entire service, but she was kind enough to bring me a towel to wrap around my legs. *This says a lot, because I am almost always warm. If I feel cold, it MUST be chilly. The hot tub/sauna/steam room area was kind of drab in appearance and didn't have an inviting nor cozy vibe. Over-all, I don't have any gigantic complaints (except for the quality of my manicure and the crowded and drab atmosphere), but this spa leaves no room for major compliments either. I did feel a little rushed waiting for my toes to dry, as the spa was closing right when my appointment was complete. read more

Had the MOST amazing experience. From the moment entered the spa through my checkout...I felt so appreciated. I was greeted warmly with a smile and escorted to the locker room. Then escorted to a gorgeous meditation room where I was offered champagne to relax before my massage with Jen. I have to say, my massage was the best I've ever had. The spa was not accommodating. I called to inform that I could not find this place resulting in us being a few minutes late. They deducted the time from our massage. Also the therapist I had did not do a good job. It felt like a lotion rub instead of massage. I've had better. Avoid if you can. read more

Disappointing. Have been there before and the experience was good. Today however, we were robbed of the full time, the facial was just barely acceptible. It is almost as if the technicians didnt want to be there. My daughter and I got the same service in cost BUT totally different facials.
