One Sunday afternoon I remembered that I need to call the locksmith. I went to Yelp (it's my go-to these days) and The Scottish Locksmith was the top locksmith in the Poway area, so I called him. He was at my front door in 25 minutes and had my locks all changed and ready to go in about another 20 or so minutes. He was really nice, professional and very informative. One needed pictures of the lock, another promised that the "tech" would call back in 15 minutes and show up within 20-30 minutes at which time a quote would be given to me. That never happened. This was a simple job...the lock (not deadbolt) between the garage and the house simply wouldn't open. So I called Allan and he showed up in 35 minutes. I do not recommend this one. I saw they have rekey and gate lock service on yelp. But when the locksmith came to my house and the man told me that he only could unlock the gate for me. He could not rekey or change a new lock for me. Even the man is very kind and the service is good. It is not reasonable to spend $87 to a simple unlock. read more

They are the real deal. Very professional, courteous and thorough. One of my door lock sets literally fell apart.
