I locked my keys in my car on a Sunday evening and called SG Locksmith to unlock the car. They came in about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad and unlocked the car in a few minutes. They didn't cause any damage to the car either, which was great. Now you may be wondering why I rated them two stars. The answer is the price. They only told me what it would cost once they got there, which was $288! My family was shocked when I told them it cost that much. They said 70-80% would be covered by insurance. However, even if you have great auto insurance, it is usually extra to include tow and lockout services in your insurance plan, which most people don't. The result is that $0 is covered and you're stuck with a massive bill. Moral is to just get a AAA membership, which would have been less than half of the price of this one lockout charge. Shame on SG Locksmith for the misleading information, lack of price transparency, and predatory prices. I will never be using them again. read more

They say a picture speaks a thousand words... Hands down one of the worst and weirdest experiences I've ever had with this locksmith. Do not use. Ever. Long version: I had an emergency repair locksmith because someone broken into a padlock that I left for another technician. They came out fast. That was the only positive part of the experience... After that, he went on the install the lock twice; the door would NOT shut and tried to pass it off as working. He then forced the bolt in so that it would shut the door. The alignment is way off, it looks horrible. Then he charged me $680 for the emergency repair. I had to pay since it was an emergency. I mentioned that I'd be posting this review. Update: The last review Snir states that he did not do the work despite them having called my boyfriend to ask why we had left a one star review. What's astonishing is that they have no specific address or phone number attached to their business which is what scam businesses do to not leave footprints. I had to retrace the process of hiring them to add evidence it's them. I have now taken this to the Better Business Bureau - DO NOT TRUST THEM. When I realized that I left my keys inside my home, I requested a quote from local Yelp locksmiths (from my Lyft ride on my way home from a concert across the bay) via Yelp Projects Updates! On a Sunday night after hours, I got quotes for $135-$145...but Snir Giladi from SG LOCKSMITH responded promptly with a quote at half the price for only $69?!! And he was only 10 minutes away!! I was dropped off by Donte, my Lyft driver and shortly after Snir arrived :)) Only the front door lock needed picking as the screen door and deadbolt were not locked...with a pick and a drill, he unlocked my door within 5 minutes and showed me w/my actual key that the lock was not damaged or compromised in any way!
