They have a lot of great classes they offer each month. They have a large variety of items from new to vintage and you can really tell the owner is picky with whom she allows to set up in her shop. The shop itself is really big and set up so elegantly you could easily wander and shop for an hour. Kathy's shop is a definite must see when you are strolling around Fortville. I just wish I took more pictures to share but i was so drawn into looking around i forgot. This town is also a great place for some amazing fall pictures or photographers in general. Don't forget to check out the gorgeous benches and outdoor decor while you are there;)

As well, we were informed by the associate, Ashley, that the 7% sales tax reduction would apply. We opted to continue looking elsewhere. We also visited the Muncie, IN store, where we found the same couch set for the same price. The associate, Greg, indicated that the 7% sales price discount did not apply to this set because it was part of the BOGO exclusion. We returned to the Anderson store, and Ashley greeted us and indicated that she had received a call from the Muncie store. She was mistaken in providing the 7% discount and could not grant the discount at this time. Her exact words were: "If you would have bought the couch at that time, I could have given you the discount, but I cannot now." I have a couple of issues with these conversations. First, there was no evidence on the couches that the sales discount was not applicable. I have pictures of all price tags. It merely identifies the set as a "Hot Buy." The advertisement does not exclude "Hot Buy" items. Rather, it limits the discount to BOGO recliners and clearance items. Again, I have pictures of the advertisement. There were no indicators at either store that the couch set fell into either of these categories. Second, I have a commitment from a store employee to provide a 7% discount, who only removed this discount after being informed by another store. This is a failure to live up to ones word and is a major issue for me as a consumer. Even if the couch does fall into one of these categories, basic business decency should be followed. At this point, Gill Brothers has lost a sales and a customer. UPDATE: The manager called and offered to honor the 7% discount. Thank you for responding.

The sales associates were friendly and helpful, and in this time when we're all trying to keep each other safe, they were wearing masks for our protection. The store is full of nice furniture at prices that are much lower than other places. I got a couch and ottoman at Best Deal 6 years ago, and they still look great. This is our go-to spot for furniture.

I paid over $2000 for a sofa and loveseat and the loveseat broke nearly as soon as we sat on it. I have sent multiple emails to the claims email with invoice and pictures and they will not even answer me. I call the store and they tell me that they will call me back after they get an answer from management and no one ever calls. I am out so much money for furniture that I can't even use and apparently once this store recieves their money they completely disappear even though there is a warranty on the furniture. Buying furniture from this store is one of the worst decisions that I have ever made.

A reddish stain of some sort and that was only the 2nd piece of the sectional they unloaded. I was told the one I would receive is in the back, I asked to look at it and was told it was boxed up. My question is, if it's boxed up, why wouldn't you leave it that way to protect it for stains, dirt and ripe etc. Well, because they try selling me used furniture. I wish I was thinking at the time and took pictures. I did not have to ask for a refund they offered it right up. Then gave us a credit promptly. However, they did try to make me feel guilty because they held the furniture for about 6 weeks, until our home was completed. My reply to it was you knew that right up front and didn't have store it. They could of just sorry, we not able to do that. New house, no furniture. :-(

We ordered six dining room chairs in early March 2021 because we wanted some lumbar support for our starting-to-age backs. (Its amazing how comfortable their slanted-angle backs make their chairs!) But probably due to the pandemic, Jake Wilson warned us it would take several months to have the chairs built and delivered. When we called them later around mid May to ask about the order's progress, they told us it would still be several more weeks, but that they would loan us some similar chairs they had in stock until our custom chairs came in. Wow- we were very impressed with this kind offer! They delivered the six loaner chairs to us a few days later. And we couldn't be happier with our final chair delivery in early August. The chairs are SO comfortable, and they are attractive and strong as well. While at first glance Wilson's might seem a bit expensive, once we compared the actual same quality to several other stores, we found it to be the same price. We are in our late 50's and were looking for quality furniture, not cheapo stuff. All in all, we are thrilled with our Wilson Furniture experience! Incidentally, we are not related or personal friends with anyone at this company, as I suspect sometimes happens on review sites. They have a wide selection of furniture styles, especially cabinetry (buffets, desks, dressers,…read morechina cabinets, tables/chairs, etc.). My only regret is that I don't have a bigger house to put it in! :). The only concern I have is that it is an older building, and you go down to the lower level, there is definitely mildew. If you have concerns about that sort of thing, you shouldn't go down there. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. They also have antiques and some collectible things. The staff is nice and helpful and you just never know what treasure you're going to find! I look forward to going there every time. :)
