Antiquing is all about what the individual is looking for and I'd say they had a decent amount of items I was hoping to find. Upon entry there were a few employees sitting at the front counter but they did not greet me at all. At the time of check out they were a bit friendlier but I wouldn't rate them high on making customers (at least me) fell welcome. The 3 levels are pretty well organized and tidy and most booth item were reasonably priced. I found parking nearby on the street after circling the area a couple of times.

I don't think the this old historic building is fully accessible. Parking is free, but limited around the square. Get there early!

Prices were good and bad. As always prices are controlled by each individual booth owner so some are reasonable and some I would consider unreasonable. The staff in the store were all real friendly and they held our items at the counter as we shopped to keep our hands free for more items, yes that is a problem Just kidding, nice of them to do. I failed to get through the entire store so I will have to make a return trip, my friends are faster than me as I like to look at absolutely every piece to make sure I do not miss than gem I was searching for. I keep a running list of things I want to find as well as a list for some of my friends. I found plenty to bring home on this day and we had a fun time reminiscing and searching through each booth. My only regret is that I don't have a bigger house to put it in! :). The only concern I have is that it is an older building, and you go down to the lower level, there is definitely mildew. If you have concerns about that sort of thing, you shouldn't go down there. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. They also have antiques and some collectible things. The staff is nice and helpful and you just never know what treasure you're going to find! I look forward to going there every time. :)

Frankie D's staff is excellent and attentive, they are nice, and you can fin just about anything in the store. The owners are so fun to be around! Everything is low-priced and high in quality. Wheeler is a much better place to donate than Goodwill because they value what you donate and treat…read moreyour items with respect. They do not run big outlet locations like Goodwill where they dump donations in huge bins for people to root through and damage. You can drop off items behind their store, or in off hours bring them into the store. They so not spend tons of money on fancy TV commercials and fancy stores. Their profits go to directly serve homeless people and those with substance addiction problems. I personally know one of the people they helped to turn their life around. Please make the little extra effort to go to their thrift store which is east of the super Walmart on 96th to shop and donate. Help this small organizarion continue to do good work in our community.

The Wheeler Mission Store is one of my go-to thrifting spots. Is it the cheapest? Naw. Is it…read moreclean and well organized and have a good variety of things to choose from? YES! This location is on the same side of the road as the Walmart and in the same plaza as the Petco, Platos, and the Autoparts store. The staff are super nice and there are a lot of volunteers walking around as well. I have found several things that are new with tags (priced accordingly), tons of name-brand goods, and there is rarely that funky thrifted smell that permeates everything you get from the WMS. They have everything from clothes to furniture/household goods to really nice jigsaw puzzles. Everything is super easy to find. Prices here at the Mission Store are a little higher than places like Goodwill, but every purchase supports the Wheeler Mission by providing meals and funding for training to their residents. There are also hand-made candles and other wares that the residents make while staying at Wheeler for purchase. Once while shopping I noticed it was busier than normal and the associate explained that they allow Wheeler residents to come and shop for what they need to get back on their feet. COOL!

Everything was set up nicely and it was much brighter and cleaner. They don't have as many vendors but some like the record stall is the same. They have a good amount of parking and 2 or 3 designated spots right out front. Be aware the new address is 170 W Carmel Drive. The Kirby Building. I sent the info to Yelp but they have yet to change the info, even with a photo of the sign posted with the new the location.

If you are searching for something in particular I suggest you pay a visit to the Antique Emporium and visit the Carmel Antique Mall as well since it is nearby. Both times I was there, one employee was sitting at the desk available for assistance. The parking lot has ample parking. I am not sure of the future of the strip mall since I believe the nearby strip mall with SoHo cafe is closing Dec 30 permanently and slated to be demolished.

They shortened hours on Labor Day. From the outside, the place seems small with bigger items typically outside to grab drivers' attention. They have a variety of (new and used) merchandise including furniture. It is like a Goodwill store but more organized. I was told that the items were donated, and they do not have sales. I bought a lap desktop with folding legs and section holders; it would be so helpful especially when I tend to find writing utensils that have fallen between the couch cushions. Also, a green long-sleeve dress shirt caught my eyes so I had to go look at it, which happened to fit me; how could I resist buying this name-brand, attractive shirt! I used that coupon for the shirt, so I got more savings than for the desktop. There seem to be a couple of spots I would like to try to wash out of the shirt. So both $5 or less. Sold! When I got home, I realized that maybe the shirt was new because there was a spare button attached. I will see if the ink on the sleeve comes out. I think the store changed its name to Noble Cause (but still led by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul) and did change their hours to M, T, Th, and F 9-3 with Wed. and Sat. only to serve from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry. I would return when and if convenient but definitely if I get a coupon.

I am a avid thrifter all across central Indiana and this used to be one of my favorite places. They…read morehave hard to come to hours for the working person, but when I did come I used to spend $100 or more but today I was really disappointed to see their prices have gone way up. As a reseller the China and dish prices were so high nobody could get them in the hands of a collector at a decent price. Please revisit that and try not to compete with goodwill. I also noticed that usually the place is packed but this time hardly nobody was there and it may be the prices. Since it's hard for me to get here because of no evening hours if it continues I won't be back on a regular basis, it's sad because money goes to a decent cause but things need to be bargain prices not boutique.

The folks working there are so friendly also. They have vintage items, soaps, candles, clothes. My pics will tell the story. I definitely plan on stopping here again.
