I've been to this antique mall in Camel a couple times now. The store is hidden in the back of an older industrial complex, so you have to know it's there. It's the perfect size mall, not to big that I lose interest and not to small. The shop is tidy and the staff friendly, even funny and always welcoming. They were adding Christmas decor during my visit. The selection is mostly vintage glass and smaller items. There is a little vintage and antique furniture. Prices range from reasonable to absurd. I didn't buy anything yesterday, but enjoyed browsing. I check in regularly as the merchandise changes. read more

This antique mall hidden in a strip mall is definitely worth finding. If you think you're going to an office building complex then you are in the right place. Besides a sign right in front of the store and probably your GPS that's about all you got to find this place. Located right of the Monon trail I'd recommend stopping in before you pass by. It's definitely a solid place for antiques due to a large footprint and good variety of sellers that offer small furniture, artwork, jewelry and whatever you might collect. Several small rooms strewn throughout offer another chance to find something exciting. I've found many treasures here and look forward to finding more. With it's convenient location just steps from Carmel City Center and Range line Road it's going to be your next must stop destination. read more

Variety! Yay! I especially loved seeing animation cells and pre-production pencil work from the 80's Beetlejuice cartoon and the 70's cartoon, The Ant & Aardvark. I bought super cool light strings and garlands for Halloween and Christmas & my son found a miniature clown for his clown collection amongst the dollhouse miniatures. There were also some very large mounted moth specimens and some taxidermied bats if that's your thing. Truly something for everyone in all price ranges. Super welcoming and helpful staff. Definitely going back despite the long drive (for me). read more

This is EXACTLY how all antique malls should operate. Extremely well organized, clean, tidy, no repurposed Home Goods-type stuff, and well lit; this place is a joy to walk around. On top of that, the owners are extremely friendly...it's obvious they really care about providing their customers with an excellent experience. When I found a few pieces of what I collect (ocean liner items), the owner and I had a great discussion about the subject; we even found out that we both knew a major collector from Florida. In the nearly 40 years of collecting and visiting literally hundreds of antique malls, I can honestly say that this one ranks in the top five. I can't praise this place and the owners enough; it was perfect. read more

I love the variety of vendors here, and had to refrain from buying everything I liked! You can spend hours in the two story antique mall, and still not see everything. Not to mention, the stock rotates continuously. My eyes were glazed over with the abundance of Mid Century fabulousness. The giant retro shag rug was pretty incredible, but a little out of my price range. I couldn't pass on the vintage handmade leather hat, a new turquoise ring, and a pair of funky pink sunglasses. With a multi-vendor setup, there is something for everyone here! I love to drop by this shop whenever I'm in lovely downtown Carmel and I almost always score a treasure or two here. I love vintage clothing and I was able to find a beautiful 1930s hat and 1940s necklace here. I can't wait to wear them to classic film festivals once things become more normal again! read more

This place is (unfortunately) CLOSING on October 31! I highly recommend checking it out before it closes to snag some final good finds We just went recently and many booths are having sales. There are still a lot of great items here worth checking out. We found plenty of great records and vintage oddities. Sad to see such an awesome antique mall in the heart of Carmel close! read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the size and selection in this two story antique store in the middle of the Main Street shops. The store is arranged with orderly booths with plenty of room to pass. There are lots of collections including furniture, books, table settings, comics, vinyl, coins, and just about anything else you can think of. Very nicely kept booths and it's much bigger than you think. I think we got some bargains but who knows really. Upstairs booths are a little less I guess I'd say fancy. Some of the booths you could tell people take some major time setting them up. All the same color items together. Some with themes. One was called the Man-tique Booth it contained items of a more manly nature no kitchen items. lace or jewelry. Ended up buying a Tea Pot, small glass dish, cufflinks and a book about opera. read more

Super cool '60's posters, AWESOME thrift dresses, a sewing machine made out of buttons, gorgeous furniture, unique-spunky rings, Nancy Drew books, interesting US history wall hangs, authentic military clothes......... who knew?! I'm not even an antique girl. I don't know much about them, but I do appreciate things from the past that spunk up my home today. This place isn't your Grandma's garage sale. It's stuff you want and my eyes were on all of it. This shop may have prime real estate in downtown Carmel, but the owners are as down to earth as it gets. I spent about ten minutes in the books section (I can't get enough) and the owner came over, offered both of us a tea or coffee, and then told me that there's something like 2000 more books upstairs. Truly thrilling. If you've never walked in before.... you have too. Even if you aren't looking to buy, it's like an interesting museum and shop combined. I just loved it, okay?! read more

This is the real deal. And that is rare these days. Sucked in after Tina's Traditional around the corner and thought I'd be there for 1/2 an hour, but it's deceptively large and brimming with real vintage stuff--jewelry, books, art, photos, ephemera. I had such fun scouring almost all the booths, but ended up spending more than 2 hours there and could've spent more. Found some great Indy related books and my favorites score: a 1943 Crispus Attucks yearbook. I'll definitely need to check in here periodically! After saving my pennies-because I found so much good stuff. read more

Love this place! I love to wander around in here and look at everything! There are two floors and so much to see. It could take you half an hour if you studied the jewelry in the front cases carefully . The people who work here are all nice and friendly. It's a great place to explore when you're in Carmel on an afternoon. I bought paint from one of the cute booths upstairs and I salvaged/painted some frames to make them usable again. I also painted an ugly piece of furniture black and it's much better now. The are some great china dealers, fun furniture stalls and books and albums. It's just fun to look at everything. If you're hunting for antiques or items to repurpose or just have some time to spend on a day in Carmel, this store is worth stopping in to see what they have for sale. Nestled among the eateries, art galleries, hair salons and upscale shops in Carmel's Arts and Design district is the collection of antique and curiosity booths that make up the Carmel Old Town Antique Mall. I'm not sure how many of the items in this building are true antiques, but I do know that it provided a fun place to browse around on a hot afternoon when most other A & D District buildings were closed, which is too bad, because about the only time one can find a parking place from which to stage one's shopping tour here is during late afternoon on a Sunday! But I digress..... During our visit, we were surprised to note that there were several other people nosing around the antique mall.....in fact, we had to wait our turn once we did find a few things we couldn't live without! This is GOOD, since the A & D District shops don't all seem to be flourishing and many have, on the contrary, closed in the past several months. Hmmm....perhaps the city should consider that pedestrian traffic is hard to create without adequate and convenient parking. No pedestrians = no business = well, you get it! Let's hope that changes, cause we really would like to patronize our local businesses. At Old Town, we found lots of things that reminded us of our childhood and our grandmother's decor....some of it cool, some questionable. But, that's the fun of browsing a place like this. What we did find: an awesome art nouveau dragonfly brooch in mint condition and a set of 1940-ish crystal jewelry in equally good condition. The latter, once taken apart bead by bead, will provide me with tons of material to create new sparklies with which I can adorn myself.....for the same amount of bead store-bought crystal spheres, I would have shelled out much more moolah! read more

Great jewelry finds here. I came in thinking I might find something great to punctuate an outfit with--and I did, but for a little more than I was willing to part with. But that's just because they have some pretty old, vintage stuff here, that's worth it. Some particularly cute finds included colorful vintage owl earrings, a bejeweled hair comb, pillbox hats. Further back there's even some Chinese garb, and in the very back, some adorable, vintage pinball machines! read more

Managed by 2 delightful funny sexy guys, this place has a wide selection of a variety of antiques and vintage- from mid century mod to Victorian. Really nice furniture at reasonable prices and they are willing to bargain a little too. They will load your stuff in your car for you too. This place is pretty cool. I thought it would be overpriced purely due to it's location but after perusing, I found some super duper cool stuff for really good prices. I like old stuff, I'm going to sound like a grandma but it's just made better. I had been searching for a while for a headboard and nightstand for my little girl's soon to be big girl room. I've been around the block with furniture stores, everything is made like total crap, even when you spend upwards of $300 on a kids twin size bed frame. I think that's stupid. In my rage against the machine, I also went to a gazillion resale shops and was pretty sure if I found another 1990's brass bed, I was going to lose my mind. This was a breath of fresh air. The people were nice, the price was good and I got a super cute vintage bed and nightstand and it is 'big girl' approved. In the meantime I also saw about 30 other things I was pretty sure I needed. I'll have to go back. Cool place, sweet finds & easy to get in and out of. read more

Me and my wife (who is Chinese) went there to see what they have. Yes, we were in a hurry, and did not look really good at the quality of the items. We did notice one section #303 in a glass case. This is the store owners personal items he sells. It contained various Chinese items on display. We bought a couple items, and later when we returned home, we noticed the items did not look authentic, they looked like reproductions. Unfortunately for us, the store policy is no refunds, no returns. The Antique store owner would rather loose a future costumer. I would NOT RECOMMEND this Antique store, to anyone who is looking for real Chinese antique items, because the sell fake items also. Its not about the money we spent, its about knowingly cheating the customer. Lesson learned, be careful when dealing with this antique store. read more

There is a good variety of items here. While there are tons of cheap, inexpensive things here there is also truly great antiques. Booth 757 is a great example of this - their items range from New Hampshire Country to Scandinavian items from Minnesota. read more

This place is a very good example of an antique mall. There are many booths selling a variety of goods, and most if not all of them are actually selling either antiques or retro merchandise, but no one is selling just junk. The mall is large with two floors and a grand staircase in which to ascend and descend. The gentleman in front is very helpful, and there is no one looking over your shoulders or pressuring you to look at their booth. In fact, there is just the one person at the cash register to help you, if you should need it. There is a lot of nice furniture and artwork, but they are priced accordingly and not a bargain. There is only street parking so if you buy anything huge, hope that you are parked close by or that something opens up in front. read more

Lots of vendors and a nice big space to wander around. We didn't really see anything that struck our fancy but the owner was really knowledgeable and it was kind of fun to eavesdrop on the education he was giving each customer on different types of antiques. Prices seemed a little on the high side but a good stop if you're in Carmel. read more
