Perfect spot to sip on a drink with your toes in the sand. Beautiful view and a great vibe. We kept my toddler entertained with the ping pong table and we got to listen to an awesome band. Drinks are a little pricey, but considering there is no cover charge for live music, we were happy to enjoy a few beverages. Will definitely be back to finish off another beach day!

Moving The Seafarer to 4 stars...wonderful location for live music, excellent views and cocktails. Soda mix and service has drastically improved. Would love more tables with umbrellas. Folks who work there are so pleasant...awesome locale for a day or evening out.

The air is beautiful coming off the bay. The weather is devine this autumn day, the beer is local, and the food is from local smoke bbq. What's new here, is a tent that has 8-10 well-spaced tables. Only credit cards are permitted, a cashless place. Pet friendly. Deck and sand tables spread out at this marina.

We had a great happy hour at the Seafarer Bar. This has to be one of my favorite chill spots in the Highlands. You can't beat the view, vibes and bbq from the Local Smoke food truck. The drinks are good as well. Make sure to check online to see which band is playing before you go. Highly recommend checking out The Seafarer if you're in the area.

Nice chill spot on the water. Full bar. Some shaded area set which is dog friendly. Supposedly that's the only spot for dogs but I saw a few people with dogs on the pier /deck. Food was a Local Smoke. Had brisket sandwich and roasted clams. Both pretty good

Cool spot on the water for drinks. Good selection of canned seltzers and draft beers. IPAs were a little pricey, about $10. Single bathrooms for mens and womens so expect a line. Overall, great spot.

Lovely, lovely spot. We were there for a gorgeous Friday night happy hour. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Limited drink menu, but we're not fancy. PBRs, IPA and an aperol spritz did the trick. So many seating options. Food truck snacks were delicious. The smoked bacon poppers were the best, get 2 orders. Prices for drinks and food reasonable for the shore. Loved that the crowd was mixed couples, families, kids, pups! Great music and a perfect sunset made for a pretty awesome night.

HIGHLANDS: if you want to have a staycation in NJ, then make sure The Seafarer Bar is on your list to visit! An all-outdoor bar with a tropical and colorful setup, dogs are allowed in the Skipper's dog patio. The patio is covered by a tent and includes the craft beer bar. You can also order at the main bar for cocktails and the food truck for a meal, but dogs must stay on the patio, so take a friend with you to help at the bar. The doggie area has picnic tables and a cozy lounge area with Mexican blankets and our bartender brought Brie a bowl of water. This is the type of place you find while on a trip to an island!

Great prices, very relaxed, kind of like you're in your own backyard. The staff is friendly and live music on the water is always good.

Cool spot where the old Clam Hut was, fun place to hangout. Cocktails are pricy though

It was early Sunday night and the bar was full but the dining area wasn't so we stayed in the bar. Service was excellent, the bartender came around and made sure we were comfortable, handed us menus and brought water. She told us the specials and shortly after our server came by. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of seafood on the menu. My picky girlfriend would have enjoyed some flounder or scallops but they only had a seared salmon and blacked shrimp. The Mrs. Got a burger and it was adequate, nothing to write home about. I got the chicken parm and it was ample and terrific. The tomato sauce was stellar! Sadly I wanted the scallops with risotto. This place has potential, the service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, plus I know the chef has the chops from visiting his last place, the red store in Navasink. We'll be back but I'll be sure to check for seafood offerings before I go.

We ordered the fish tacos, birria tacos, and kettle-style potato chips--and every plate came out looking as good as it tasted. The fish tacos were beautifully assembled, piled high with crisp, fresh slaw that added the perfect crunch to the tender, flaky fish underneath. Light, clean, and balanced. The birria tacos were the star of the table. Rich, deeply seasoned meat tucked into perfectly griddled shells, served with a savory dipping broth that takes each bite to another level. Messy in the best way possible--and completely worth it. Even the kettle-style potato chips stood out. Thick-cut, golden, and topped with just the right amount of flavor to make them more than just a side--they held their own next to the tacos. The overall experience ties everything together: polished yet relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that clearly have intention behind them. It's the kind of place where you can tell care is put into both the food and the experience. Atlantic House isn't just a good meal--it's a spot you'll want to come back to, and one I'd recommend without hesitation.
