If you are looking for an authentic fine dining Indian spot then this is it. Great spot for a celebration or date night. The decor and ambiance was nice and warm. The staff were friendly, attentive and had a welcoming environment. The menu is curated by celebrity chef Anal Kotak. We started off with the tandoori chicken momos and the tandoori prawns. Both were seasoned very well, spicy and juicy. It came with a side of chutney that went well together. For our main we got the Murgh Alamgir, which our waiter recommended. This dish was very delicious, filed with flavors and a combination of spices. It came with naan, and we got one butter naan and one garlic onion naan, which we enjoyed. It was hot, and buttery, which is the perfect combination. The only downside was that we came for a birthday, and the birthday dessert wasn't complimentary, it was actually $30, which was a surprise. The dessert was very delicious but, overpriced. Overall, I would recommend this place, however just be prepared to spend a lot

the secret kitchen, came up to $60 each (including ordering appetizers and drinks), but was delicious, with live belly dancers, great food, and perfect service. The place itself was beautiful, as you can see in the pics. When I asked for 2 more hot waters, the waitress had no problem getting it for me, and was prompt. Everything was very clean. Only thing was the music was too loud for some of my friends, but for me that added to the appeal (works well with the belly dancers).

Such a fun restaurant with delicious fusion food! The atmosphere is lively with a DJ (although it can get a bit loud). We got a bunch of apps and loved them all, the food is presented very uniquely. The salad burrata subzi was so good I'm still thinking about it. Will be going back for a fun-upscale Indian food night.

This is a new upscale Indian fusion restaurant in Vaughan. The place is beautifully decorated and the service was very attentive. They have a very creative menu including one of the largest assortment of appetizers I have seen. Tried the Mango Dahi Puri, Amritsari Chole Tart, Cheese & Corn Samosas, and Paneer Tikka. Each dish had a unique aspect which made it different from other Indian restaurants. My only negative was that the samosas were a little too oily but it did come with several really delicious dips instead of the typical chutneys. The green paneer tikka (couldn't remember the name on the menu) was really delicious also. Having filled up on appetizers, had dal makhani, and the Lucknow paneer bitter masala with garlic naan which were very good. The paneer was a nice change from most restaurants typical paneer makhani. We also had the China Sizzler which was made up of veg Manchurian, fried rice, and noodles. This was very good but with so many creative menu items, I was left kind of wishing we had skipped it and tried more appetizers. For dessert, tried their flambé gulab jamun. The gulab jamun were served on a bed of chocolate brownie crumble with some vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. The combination of the gulab jamun and chocolate crumble was really delicious. They could have deleted the ice cream from the dish as it was better without the ice cream. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal.

Visited the secret kitchen for dinner with our family. The food was delicious and servings were good. A little on the pricey side for Indian food but the ambiance and food made it well worth it. The restaurant was beautiful, felt like we were in a mystical forest. The service was alright. We tried to order a sizzling appetizer which they said they were out of. We then tried to order Budweiser beers which they were also out of. They had a dj and the music was loud, we asked if they could turn it down and they did now. Clean for an Indian restaurant but could be clearer given that it is a higher end restaurant. All food was amazing!

The ambiance felt pretty flat. Loud Bollywood music from a wall-mounted TV made it hard to enjoy the space, and we had to ask the staff to turn it down--it was directly above our table, making conversation almost impossible. Hunger took priority, so we asked for their best dishes--one veg, one non-veg. We were recommended the Tawe pe Latpata Paneer and Utterly Butterly Chicken. The names sounded promising. I made it clear I wasn't looking for sweet curries and asked if they were on the spicier or more savoury side. The server was nice enough to bring us small gravy samples to taste first, which tasted fine--nothing too sweet. But when the dishes arrived, it was a different story. Both gravies were much sweeter than expected, and it was disappointing after specifically saying I wanted to avoid that. The food was decent, but it wasn't what I was told it would be. I finished my plate because I was hungry, not because I enjoyed it. The portions felt smaller than what you'd expect at the price point, too. Between the noise, the off-target recommendations, and the mismatch in expectations vs. reality, I walked away underwhelmed. It's not a place I'd rush back to, even though I really wanted to like it. The patty had a good taste & texture & a slight crisp.  The bun had a slight crisp & oily skin (from the griddle), just like you'd get from a street hawker. The vada pav wasn't too spicy & had a pleasant level of spiciness, resulting in a good balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. There were separate mint & tamarind sauces if you wanted to add more, but the buns had enough of the sauces already. There was also a bit of toasted coconut, which was a subtle addition. Also had Combo 3 and opted for chicken curry, butter chicken & garlic naan. The combo was alright. I got charged $1.49 extra for the garlic naan; she didn't tell me about the surcharge when offering me the choice. The combo was a lunch potion. The chicken curry strangely had green pepper in it. The butter chicken was quite spicy for butter chicken. Both were good. The combo was supposed to come with dal but I got raita. Coriander raita - a first for me. It was ok. The naan was thin for naan - it had the thickness of roti. I ate it within a few mins but it already was not crisp, but soggy. It tasted pretty good though. The salad was undressed: raw carrot & onion, with indian pickle on the side. In addition to the usual Indian mouth freshening herbs, they have them candied too, which is an interesting change.

Friendly staff, reasonable portion for the price! I like the…read morebutter chicken and garlic naan here.

On top of that, there's a dry meat corner & a fried stuff corner. They cover a lot of ground, eg there's both dry & gravy chili chicken. The spread is probably big because it's also used for takeout (I saw staff scooping food from the buffet into a container a few times). The food is mostly of decent quality. Best of all, they're really cheap: Saturday dinner was $17.99 plus tax. They get 4.5 stars. The fried rice was tasteless but the veg Hakka noodles were pretty good. The Butter Naan was decent as naan but a bit dry for butter naan. Butter chicken used tandoori chicken, giving extra flavour & had a very rich sauce (shared with the paneer makhani). It was especially good. There were quite a few desserts: fruit, 2 mini cakes, ice cream & Indian deserts, Both mini cakes were dry. The Indian desserts & fruit were decent.
