The food is good keeping in mind this is a buffet place. Their lunch buffet is quite cheap even the dinner is not expensive. The full menu includes but is not limited to...Pakistani, Indian, Hakkah Chinese cuisines. It was quite impressive the design area included a Salad Bar, Vegetarian dishes area, Non Vegetarian dishes area, Fried area, dessert area. Some unusual tasty stuff included were Masala Dosas, golgappa/Panipuri, gulab jamun. The place is nicely decorated and quiet big, so space wont be a problem. Parking is free. Overall, Good Place many choices and easy on the pocket. For my Muslim peeps! They "don't" serve halal meat.

This is the best Indian buffet I have found to date. They have an expansive selection of curries, dessert, among others. The dishes are well spiced and fresh. The lunch buffet is 11.99 and I think the dinner is 12.99 which is such a steal! You get way more selections for less cost where can you go wrong? Even though I live on the east end, I drive all the way here to eat at Desi Spice. It's such good value, I totally recommend this place!

Much better than Shahi Mahal which was the previous restaurant in this building. Better selection and good service. For $10 lunch and $12 dinner, definitely a great place to eat in.

Good options for vegetarians. They serve hot dosa in buffet and plenty of non vegetarian including goat, chicken and fish. Barring the fried fish, the starters arent great but this buffet is still a great deal for the price. They have a DIY chat section with panipuri etc. The butter chicken, sweet and sour fish, chicken tikka are wonderful. Cant say the same about their goat curries. They have 6 flavours of ice cream - they dont replenish mango, my favorite. The gulab jamuns and carrot halwa are to die for. The ambience is nice with comfortable chairs and nice lighting. It is a great choice for families. The waiters are courteous. Even though they had a 1.5 hour limit the waitresses did not rush us and let us take our time. Overall, I enjoyed my Indian dining experience. The one star deduction was for the poor quality of starters. Will come back many times over if they keep the quality consistent.

Naans are undercooked. Too much watery Sabji gravy. Plates are not cleaned thoroughly. Overall not good experience.

Tip: Cold chaii drinks are available in regular and large sizes…read more I have been to a couple of Chaiiwala of London locations, both in Mississauga (Dixie and Erin Mills). The former is closer to my workplace. I like their cold chaii drinks. The last time I had one was at the Dixie location. I got a cold karak chaii. I loved it, except that it only came in one drink size and it wasn't enough. I needed a larger cup! After work today, I had dinner at Taco Bell. I saw this Chaiiwala of London across the street. I had no idea that there was a location in Etobicoke. I had to visit it. After I was done eating dinner, I got in my car. The catch was doing a left turn onto Albion Road during rush hour. I frankly had never made one because traffic tends to be horrific. I'm not sure what I did to have the stars aligned for me. Traffic was clear. I did my left turn and a quick right into the parking lot with this Chaiiwala. Yay! I backed into a spot with the sun in my eyes. I then walked into the cafe. There were seats to enjoy desserts, snacks, and drinks. I wanted a cold chaii to go. A woman was in the back making a sandwich. It gave me time to look at the menu. To my delight, the cold chaii drinks come in regular and large sizes now. Yay! I also had a choice of four cold chaii flavours. In the past, I recall seeing the karak and dirty chaii varieties. The lemon and pink varieties were new to me. I went with colour and price. The pink chaii was an extra twenty cents. It must be special. I ordered one in a large. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. The woman who made my drink was super nice. It took her practically no time to make it for me. She gave me a straw and had the nicest smile. I thanked her and happily left with my drink. The pink chaii was yummy. The chaii wasn't as strong as the karak. It does take its time to build up a bit. If you like a subtle version of chaii, this drink is for you. I want to get the dirty and lemon versions next. I do love this series of cold drink. I looked at the desserts. They looked yummy, as usual. I was too stuffed to get some. I'll be back for more. I love this location, the cold pink chaii, and the customer service. (394)

It's a great place for Indian cuisine…read more Food: We went for Chilli Mogo as an appetizer; Jeera Pulau, Baigan Bhartha, Gujarati Dal and Gujarati Roti as mains. While Chilli Mogo, Jeera Pulau, and Baigan Bhartha were good - the star of the meal was Gujarati Dal by miles. Being a Gujarati, I could recognize the homely authentic taste of the dal and it was the closest you can get to the original one which is more towards the sweeter end of the palate than spicy like the rest of India. Definitely to be tried. I am not sure what was Gujarati about the roti since it was pretty much like a standard phulka roti. Ambiance: It's a standard restaurant ambiance. They have a large seating area - very good for large groups of friends/family. There is a bar at the end of the dining hall. The design and the feel of the place were very much contemporary - close to fine dining experiences. Service: Service was quite slow but the food quality kind of made up for it. The person waiting on our table seemed like new (probably his first day) since he seemed quite lost and nervous. He forgot to serve water and it was only later that we asked for it, he realized that and apologized. Overall, a great place to try some fantastic Indian cuisine.

The Exotic Indian Cuisine is a gem!…read more We started off with vegetable sizzlers, vegetable manchurian sizzler, and fish pakora as our appetizers; butter chicken, malai paneer, dal fry, and double extra spicy vindaloo chicken (after asking for something to reduce the effects of the spiciness of the vindaloo, our host provided us yogurt) served with plain rice and naan bread as our main course. All of the food was flavorful and delicious, but the dishes that I enjoyed the most were the fish pakora and the butter chicken with plain rice and naan. For dessert, we had homemade mango, rose, and paan ice cream. I highly recommend trying the homemade ice cream. Our host was friendly in conduct, knowledgeable of the menu, and helpful to our group. When I say our host was friendly in conduct, I am referring to them making us feel welcomed to the restaurant. One of our friends asked our host how the homemade rose ice cream was made and our host explained in detail the creation process of the ice cream and recommended us to try the rose ice cream. Not only was our host friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to our group, but they were also attentive to us by providing us refills on water, asking about the food we ordered, and asking if there was anything else we wanted. Overall, the Exotic Indian Cuisine provides excellent food and service. I will come back again when I am back in Ontario!

Every table has their own lamp (which is awkwardly placed since it's hard to see the person diagonally or directly across from you) and a tv to watch the races. We came on a Thursday night and had the 8 oz prime rib with 2 lobster tails. For members it's $19.99 and non-members it's $29.99. My aunt commented that my uncle and I were eating all our veggies first. This is because they were cooked so well and very tasty. A downfall with ordering prime rib and steak is that there's a high chance that your meat will come out too cooked for your liking. Three people ordered medium rare and it was served just under medium well. The NY cheesecake did not taste like other NY cheesecakes I've had before. The crust was too soft and the centre was very airy and not firm. The brownie was alright. I suspect that their desserts are bought and not made in-house. Even though there weren't any races the night we went it was still a good experience.

The restaurant has an amazing view of the entire racetrack area. The restaurant's decor is nothing special. -1 points for food crumbs being on chairs. FOOD 5/5: There's no way I could rate $14.99 for a delicious prime rib and two lobster tails anything less than 5 star. But regardless, the prime rib was cooked to perfection. The lobster tails seem previously frozen as they're hard to remove from shells, and lack butter to dip. Regardless amazing value (Thurs and Friday nights only). SERVICE 4/5: Good service but nothing spectacular. Came on a popular specials night so the servers had a lot on their "plates." Still very friendly and attentive when we needed anything. This is a great dinner at a great price.
