They expect my family to live in this with neighbors unit sewage
    Beth K.

Moved into our condo association back in 2018 since then we've had two category three floods in common areas where they are supposed to at least help. Instead I get rude feedback demeaning attitude and no one wants to accept responsibility they only put the blame on everybody else. This is the second time I am now homeless and my family has nowhere to go because of sewage from our upstairs unit which they refused to even talk to them I had to take care of all of this myself. We pay to 270 a month right now just for them to maybe pick up our trash I had rotting boards all outside my house yet I got a letter for a broom and a bucket. Little did they know I have to use that broom and bucket to do the landscapers job sweep leafs off my patio. Patricia the manager never responds always out of office and avoids everyone if you go in to in person. The select group has made my life miserable each time they come back to my neighborhood. According to neighbors they love going through personal property just to write you a letter and threaten to put a lien on your house. Most of the time they don't even have the right property. They're power-hungry in the wrong spot my neighborhood is falling apart and all they care about is sending letters to tenants telling them they're breaking the simplest of rule( a.k.a. broom and bucket) Even insurance companies cant get in contact with The Select Group.

I've opened a few other investment accounts through them in the past few years and have worked with some of their wealth management advisors to come up with a game plan. I am not the kind of person who spends hours researching or reviewing stocks. Nor do I want to be. So I appreciate the Fidelity tools and website that provide information and analysis. Their app is easy to use. The website is also easy. And trading and selling stocks and transferring money around from outside accounts is easy as pie. Today, I met with my new advisor, Josh in their new shiny Virginia Beach office right across the street from West Elm. First, the inside is spotless and modern with iPads and brochures and tons of seating. I was offered a coffee or tea while I waited. Parking is easy with a few parallel street spots in front or the garage across the street with free two-hour parking. Josh listened, he took notes, he reviewed my accounts and we discussed my goals for investment, retirement and growth. I have some homework and we plan to meet again to discuss. Overall, I'm very happy with this initial meeting and the new location in Town Center is easy and convenient! Prior to this their closest office location was Richmond.

I have been waiting for months to write this review. I held off until I got my tax return in the…read moreslight chance I needed them to get involved with the IRS. But this morning, after almost 7 months, I finally got my return. I will say that when I contacted Paul directly, he was apologetic about my service and refunded their fee. That is why they get one star. But aside from that this has been the most maddening tax season in almost 20 years of filing taxes. I contacted PIM in early Feb because I am military, wife is self employed, and she also has a W-2 from another state for teaching. Just a bit too complicated for us to do ourselves. I read reviews and PIM seemed to be a great choice. Well after finally getting through (left a couple messages before getting a call back), they scheduled me for an appt 4 weeks later. I was annoyed it was going to take that long, but figured it would be done correctly so its fine. What they dont tell you is that is just a consult appointment. You spend a hour with your tax preparer and then "They add you to the bottom of the pile". So we are already this much into it, and just had to keep going since everywhere else was already swamped. Our preparer, Tara, was respectful, but seemed ill-informed. We had a nanny over the summer and we paid a services to file all our tax paperwork for us. So she just had to add it to the childcare expense. She said she wasn't familiar with how that works and she had to ask someone about it. She also seemed to be confused with some easy stuff like how to file out of state W-2 with residency in another state. We should have cut our losses, but we didn't. We were already too far into it. Now started the first wait. Tara said it would be about 3 weeks. Nope. Almost 6 weeks later and no less than 10 ignored phone calls and multiple ignored emails we got our paperwork for review. Me, not a tax pro, took one look at it and noticed it was WAY off. Like, just simple childcare credit stuff was completely ignored. It was more than $5k less than expected. So I contacted Tara MULTIPLE times before getting a response and shared with her my concerns, and she said "Oh, I guess I can file your nanny expenses in your childcare". You guess? You guess?? I am paying a PROFESSIONAL to do our taxes and she has NO idea what the heck she is doing? And to make matters worse, in the response she said "I also noticed your state return didn't compute right, I have to spend some time figuring that out". So lets recap - not only did she MASSIVELY undercut our return, but she MASSIVELY over claimed our state return. And if I hadn't already been expecting a general number, I would have just said it looks fine and had her file it. Two weeks later, its filed. If all that wasn't enough, I had no idea that who is listed first on the return could impact filing, but guess what, it does. For the first time in our marriage, my wife was listed first for some strange reason. I didn't even notice when I reviewed it, but yup, she was. So because that is a change in how our taxes have been filed for the last 15 years, the IRS froze our return and required identity verification. Which, if you aren't aware, is a complete NIGHTMARE that ended up taking us almost 15 weeks, multiple hours on the phone with the IRS, and multiple hours verifying line by line our previous years returns. And its so nice when the IRS tells you "just make sure you are consistent with primary tax payer in the future to avoid identity verification". Noted. So NO. I do NOT recommend PIM. I may not have a recommendation for a Va Beach service, but I will always have recommendation on who to avoid. PIM. Avoid PIM.

Instead, they mistakenly sent those payments to the seller -- a VERY odd mistake. While we had a landlord-tenant relationship, my personal financial obligations were none of his business. This was a clear breach of my privacy and extremely unprofessional. Because of their error, I had to pay out of pocket to overnight the payments myself to avoid late fees. When I asked for reimbursement, I was given weeks of runaround: three separate promises of a call back that never came, and a month later I finally received a short email denying responsibility. I was told that it was MY choice to overnight the payments however those checks were to pay my creditors IN FULL and I thought they had taken care of it; their due dates were fast approaching and late payments also can affect my credit so I had no choice but to overnight them! Home buying is stressful enough without this kind of negligence and lack of accountability. Instead of professionalism and resolution, I was left footing the bill for their mistake and dealing with the fallout of my private financial information being shared. I would strongly urge anyone considering Priority Title and Escrow to think twice and consider whether this is the level of care and accountability you're comfortable with.

THE title officer Suzanna should not have a job. She didn't return phone calls, she blamed me and said I only called one time. I told her I had the calls on my phone. Then she shut up and attempted to move on. She then screwed up the closing costs. Did not give us credit for the $10,000 earnest money, Suzanna then wrote the deal in our personal names, instead of the trust. Then said it was my fault because I did not send in the trust page for filing. I told her I had a copy of the sent email to her. She then dropped that complaint and miraculously found it. Then said she had not received the loan docs and that's why it took so long to get the closing statement. I laughed: and told her the closing statement showed CASH DEAL IN LARGE LETTERS. Then she blamed my agent for sending me the closing statement as it was preliminary. I told her preliminary or not. Way too many mistakes!! Again she blamed the agent!! Are you getting a sense of how this person Takes responsibility for mistakes??? It gets better. The closing statements and wire instructions showed up on Thursday late afternoon for a Monday morning closing. Had I not demanded the information I would not have received it with enough time to get the money wired and confirmed before closing. It gets better. We go to closing: an innocent woman was our closing person. A woman we had never met or talked to. She was very kind. Then she started handing out docs for signature. Can you believe they handed us recording documents showing the home would be titled in our personal names and NOT THE TRUST!!! Then she came out with the title in the trust name but misspelled my last name and name of the trust!!!! She then left for 15 minutes. Came back with the correct names and trust name. She told us she had just picked up the wrong document. She was gone too long to have not redone the document entirely. You will never convince me Suzanna had not screwed up again and this poor woman was taking the fall!!! Oh. There is more. Are you still with me? Next late afternoon after lighting a fire under them, we received the sellers packet with title signatures. I bet you know what happened the sellers agent and title company were given the document with wrong spellings!!!! I so wish I could curse for emphasis. I did then. I'm sure they would have recorded the deed in the wrong name had I not lost my mind. Suzanna said it was the other title companies fault for selecting the wrong document for signature. The sellers had to resign the corrected document. A title company is supposed to get things right!! That's what you pay for. At this point I don't trust the title to be clean. They screwed up everything else. And I mean everything. Do not let anyone point you in the direction of Priority Title. I'm not sure what takes priority at that company. They remind my of our Yorkie. An accident happens when he shits outside/ vs inside.
